Amazing people, amazing food& drinks with amazing atmosphere 🥰 highly recommend

Food was very good with a decent portion size. Good toast, thick bread. More expensive compared to other cafes but the quality makes up for this. Lots of options on the menu. Would come back again.

Had great customer service from the 2 waiters working on Sunday.

I wish there was a café like this where we live! We visited Walnuts with family who live locally, and we loved it. The place was very busy, but we weren't kept waiting, and the service was very friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with the range of choices on the menu, and although the four of us made very different choices we all agreed that our food was very tasty and beautifully cooked and presented. My falafel were the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommended.

Really disappointed in the service we received on our visit to this restaurant on Wednesdays 15th May 2024. The staff are friendly but when you’re spending £75 for 2 people on a lunch you expect it to be nice and not rushed! There was only me and my sister and a couple on another table so was not busy! Our wine went to wrong table then dessert arrived that was meant for the other table. We order our food 2 calamari and olive for a starter and chicken Shish kebab and seabass for my sister. We alway ask for a short break to go out for a cigarette between meals. Then all the food came out together! We was told they could put our main under the heater while we eat our starters.. I was not impressed! I have not spent time with my sister in along time it all felt rushed with out food the starter were lovely and when we got our main they was a bit dry from sitting under the heater for so long!I was extremely disappointed with this and it’s a lot of money for me to spend and get a service like this… Not impressed as meant to be under new management!

We Had a delightful meal here today staff are welcoming smiling all the time. Very helpful. Could not do more to make my visit more pleasant nice cold beer to.

This place has excellent food excellent service. Amazing for arranging family get-togethers. Would definitely recommend.❤️

Recently under new management and you can see and taste the difference already! Staff are much friendlier & food presentation is on point. Will be back soon!!

Met my friends for lunch for a chat and a catch up . Was quite busy but obviously very popular enjoyed my lunch here very friendly and attentive

We have been to nearly all your branches pets wood and locks bottom more than the others I live in Sidcup so coming home from a hospital visit we called into Sidcup high street one. There was three girls in there one older who I presume was the manager The waitress came over for our order my sister in law asked to change her salad for veg and promptly told if she wanted to do that it would be an extra charge WHY!!! She had chicken breast that was so dry she could hardly cut it let alone eat it. I called over the waitress who I assume was the manageress who rolled her eyes HOW RUDE. I said the breast was warmed up she said it wasn't I've been a cook all my life I know if something is fresh or warmed up. She went and spoke to the chef I presume I was right as we didn't have to pay for her meal. Something should be done about her manners as none of the other branches are like that thank god.

Lovely friendly staff and good food

Staff very friendly, & accommodating. Just had Teacakes, but delicious. Started quiet at 10 am, but got busier with mothers & babies. Very popular. Toilets nice & clean.

I absolutely loved it here and cannot recommend enough. It is not hard to see why it is so highly rated. The food was excellent, high quality and good value for money. The service was really good and attentive. The design is modern industrial, and it was a comfortable surrounding. We went on a Sunday and it was very busy ( a testament to how popular it is). We were seated and served in no time. Our server was very friendly and chatted to us as we were finishing up, and it was nice to hear his aspirations. Will come again!

Nice food..good atmosphere... Staff not great at understanding what we asked for. And occasionally looked sullen. .Bacon and eggs tasty but overcooked..said they had marmite. .then brought marmalade.. otherwise ok

I'd rate the food as 4 1/2 stars ⭐ and the same for the atmosphere.. food portion sizes have been noticeably reduced (at least from my experience since a year ago) so value for money has consequently dropped off too.. muffin size was almost half that of a year ago and the overall presentation of it didn't measure up in any way to the last time I ordered one.. quite disappointing and a sharp reminder of the times and economic pressures we're all under now. Verdict: Saturday lunch-time with its busy atmosphere and good quality food and service V noticeable reduction in value for money is really down to your own choice as to what's most important.

We usually order from the Chislehurst branch and it’s amazing, however this morning we ordered from Sidcup in error, never again!! My eggs Benedict were freezing cold and all dumped on one half of the muffin and eggs were broken, which may explain the shell I found in my meal (or more specifically in my mouth! 🤮) My husbands croque monsieur was literally half the size it is from Chislehurst with stupidly hard bread. Seriously Walnuts Sidcup you’re an absolute disgrace to the chain and you literally just robbed us, thanks! Just for context in the photos the top one is from Chislehurst and the bottom is Sidcup as is the egg shell pic!

Only been once. Bread far too thick. Will give it another try.

We arrived for lunch and thou it was not busy we had to wait awhile firstly to be seated then to order and didn't get better even down to asking for the bill we felt like we were being ignored. Also slightly over priced

Great place, lovely menu, kid friendly. Staff are super attentive and always floating around. Portion size a bit big for me but I guess small for some so works fine. Prices on the higher side for a cafe but this is more a relaxed restaurant than a cafe so happy to pay. Everything I have had there has been cook perfectly, meals arrive together, waiting times as expected for freshly cooked food so don’t expect fast food. Nice cake selection after, my boy is addicted to Red Velvet cake!

Lovely! Not sure if it turns into a Turkish restaurant in the evening but it looks like I'd be happy coming here at any time of day. Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and presentation. Really good extensive menu with clearly set out options for whatever time of day your coming in to eat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner weren't all jumbled up together. Can't praise the place enough. We'll definitely be back!

Good varied menu and sensible prices.

Good food, nice atmosphere and attention, great coffee ... The only problem is that the healthy options are quite short (and pricey) compared with the amount served, and the price paid for the junk or traditional dishes. Apart from that, the place is really good, and lovely to have a nice breakfast, or brunch.

So glad we now have a walnuts locally, staff are always friendly and the good and drink is really good. Would be nice to see better options and prices for kids food. But otherwise the food is really good, especially the calves liver and mash. Always cooked perfect

Popped in for a lunch meeting and was pleasantly surprised. The service was prompt, the food was a healthy sized portion and the drinks were decent too. Definitely coming back. P.S. also ordered takeout via the apps - brunch. The food was also delicious; arrived at a good temperature that didn’t need reheating.

Recently opened branch very close to home, my third visit. Few hiccups with service which had improved by yesterday. Food is good and nice ambiance. Hopefully the service will continue to improve. The front door needs adjusting, Mums with buggies and non-able bodied people are struggling with it. Will be interesting to see how it progresses. Would be nice to see it open a bit later in time.
