We were in Manchester for 3 nights and think we ate dinner each night here. Good food, atmosphere was great and the staff was super! Good selection of beers and spirits. Gin selection was very good. Love this place.

Saturday 3rd August 2024 This pub near Manchester piccadilly is a propper real ale pub with a real ale clientelle There were 5 good hand pumped ales on today. The staff great pub old fashioned well looked after I would recommend this pub to all real ale drinkers wanting a good pint in Manchester

Was served by Shelby and Ollie, nicest people ever, super welcoming, warm and cuddly, great recommendations with whiskeys!! Am planning to come back tomorrow to hopefully see them again!!!

Cracking pub near Piccadilly. Friendly and helpful bar staff. Comfortable and relaxing pub. Didn't eat in thete but heard from several its decent. 2 pints under a tenner ( Stella and Fosters). Recommend.

Brill pub been going there for a few years good pub for football fans to meet who ever you support and very good food

Watched the 1st half of the Champions League Final 2024 after a great day of reasonably priced beer, in the Manchester city centre (unusual for city centre Manchester). Veggie burger and fries, really nice, good selection of beer. Another business for the "visit again) list. Friendly staff.

As a Resident nearby I give 1 star , I can endure Monday and Friday morning unloading iton beer barrel but not Friday and Saturday night noisy from there . Honestly I never been there , maybe the food and drink a good but they should control their customer at night . thankyou

Every year we come in for the grand national and every year it gets better and better. Very helpful and the staff are lovely.

Nice place, near Piccadilly Station, decent beer

Nice little pub in a good location. Staff are all friendly, there’s some nice space for larger groups and the drink options are varied at good prices. Toilets are downstairs and there’s plenty of screens throughout if you’re wanting to follow the sport. I’ll be back!

First stop after flying into Manchester for a 10-day UK trip after taking the train from the airport to Piccadilly. This is a quick walk from the station if you’re craving a bite and a pint. Rustic boozer with a certain charm. Lots of groups of friends in here enjoying beers and crisps. A warm, convivial spot with equally friendly staff. Everything was great, including the chicken sub I ordered. An impressive array of draft and cask. And man do they pour a good pint of Landlord (they’re a Champion Club member).

Great pub. Forgotten all about it. Last time in there some 25 years ago. Went in immediately after the City v Everton lunchtime ko. Great range of real ales and lagers. Brilliant bar staff. Friendly vibe and general good time atmosphere. I'll be back.

Beer flat and over priced , the gas had gone, manager said not and went and changed it Shocking 😲

Doesn't have sky sports (at time of visit), worst still was showing MUTV and racing channel... Like a poor bookies. Better than nothing real ale choice, but pint pulled with the finesse of a cart horse.

Iv been to Manchester for a day out so many time and when you get off the train I never go on that side of the road always stright to spoons, but what a mistake this has been. Little hidden gem you must attent

Four of us went two male two female fair enough it was very busy but we ordered two beers and two wines the wine was served in pint pots and charged 8 pound a glass of wine not good

Best place for man city fans to come and have a drink before a game but when your not going to a game its a nice off the street pub thats relaxed not too loud place to visit. Prices are fair here and the food is nice too!

It was great to celebrate a birthday there. Good location and lovely helpful staff.

The two young people behind the bar were very nice. I were on my way to pride with my daughter and i strayed off the path😁no werewolfs or owt like that😁its summer, so we sat outside in the seating section. It was quiet, but im sure the walks will be bouncing later on

We were chatting to the lovely barman, who let us sample some of the new ciders, they were lovely, and tasty, we had a couple of pints, but had to leave for a prior engagement, will be back soon thankyou.

Good pub handy for Piccadilly Station.

Haven't been there for a few years, it's had a spruce up since then and it's a nice pub to visit. They serve food but I didn't sample anything this time but it looked OK from what I saw being served. Beer was excellent and the prices are on a par with Manchester City centre prices.

Food was amazing and so was the service. Will definitely come back

Travelled on day man City won champs league!! We was going to a concert on that day, ventured into the waldorf, busy as you can imagine, but we found a seat, ordered food, which was spot on, beer was fantastic, and reasonably priced.. credit to waldorf..

Great place right next to train station

A very long time (29 years) since I was last in here. Was here with a large group in the function room. Reasonably priced drinks and food available. The food could be ordered upstairs in the function room. The pub downstairs seemed busy enough as well.

Spot on pub. Lovely clean. Bar staff were on it, making sure we'd got everything. They were very polite and pleasant. The drinks weren't badly priced for Manchester. I'll be adding this place to my list when I'm out for a pint in Manchester.

Venu en famille un soir de semaine. Ambiance foot sympathique, de la bonne musique et des gens adorables. Un endroit à recommander. Nous ne parlons que très peu anglais, mais ils ont été au top en nous faisant même gouter les différentes bières avant de choisir.

Found this when looking for somewhere to have a quick lunch. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Next time I am near the railway station I will definitely pop in again and I would definitely recommend it.

Was passing on way back to City Centre Hotel on St Patrick's Day . Piccadilly isnt the most salubrious of areas BUT this pub felt a bit of an oasis ( & not the Beatles tribute band) . Good beer, great staff nothing to dislike !
