Homely Jamaican cuisine. Great for cookdown chicken, mutton curry, jerk and rice n peas. Alternating days for home cooked soup, oxtail, chicken or pea and ham. All superb. Very friendly Christian Jamaican service. Can park on the street outside easily beside Roseberry St park. Survived for decades so they get it right. Recommended

The old lady server is the rudest I ever come across..they need to work on their customer service as that is non-existence here..she behave as if she is doing you a favour when you are spending your hard earned cash with them.

The authentic Jamaican food here is absolutely delicious! It's as close to genuine homemade cuisine as you can get. The reason I'm not giving full marks is availability. I've given up giving an order, so now start with 'What have you got ready?'. 🙄 Midway through the day, they're still preparing items which are advertised on the menu. You'd have thought they'd have everything ready to go from their advertised opening times??? 🤔 If you're prepared to wait on some items, or amend your order to what's available, you'll be absolutely fine.

Curry goat tasted like straight black pepper & nothing else. Dont waste your time even the rice & peas was dead !!

Nice friendly shop, known for Jamaican bread and bulla cake. They sell a wide variety of food from ground food, fresh veg, fish+meat and drinks. They have a take out meal service next door.

the porridge is toppa top ,sometimes I drive 20 mins to get my fix

Not a regular visitor but when I do visit the food is always to a high standard just need to sort out the interior design.

Lovely bun and hardoe bread bulla and all that good stuff freshly prepared. There are alot of herbs and spices that you wont find in a regular shop. Go support black owned businesses!!!

I only had the soup which I can say is beautiful. Will continue to go and reccomend to others.
