We do our weekly shop at this store. Has most organic fruit and veg in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful pointing out what is where when asked.

They have various deals like 20% off on fish on Fridays which really helps. Their own brand products are very good quality as well. Overall a very good experience shopping here and I look forward to doing more of my shopping at Waitrose

George at Waitrose in Newmarket is absolutely fantastic. Helping my father shop and taking him to his car, as he has limited mobility. Please give him a pay rise!

Lots of organic or high-quality products, sometimes discounted at 70% or more.. But, I been surprised when the lady from costumer service shared the flowers for free at the exit from the shop! What a kind staff!! 5 Star's without any doubts.

Recently wanted to use a voucher I had for some towels.Also knew I'd need to add more to voucher with a card payment & ask for delivery to Waitrose store in Newmarket. Not being the most confident in online shopping asked at customer service if they would have time to help me. Wonderful service from Ollie at customer service desk who took me through the whole process(so easy when someone who knows what they're doing shows you how to achieve this) with huge patience & humour ! Collected my towels( which are super) 2 days later. Thankyou so much Ollie & the team working in Waitrose at Fred Archer Way ,Newmarket for being such a great place to shop.So glad we've got you in Newmarket.

Handy supermarket selling most things you could need in the kitchen and house hold. Cafe and handy facilities although they weren't that well maintained when I visited. Goods a bit of the pricey side.

Always a great shop. You possibly pay a little more but great quality products and service. Car park can sometimes have a short wait to exit. Normally spaces to go park though and there's a dedicated pick up zone for click n collect.

My go to store for groceries. It’s close to all that do during the morning, ample parking, friendly staff, fresh foods, hardly ever crowded, easy tills, and a great selection of wine. What more do you want!

Wonderful shopping finding everything l need

My last review I was satisfied in all maybe because I am using the opening time at 7.00 of Waitrose in Newmarket . Unfortunately Saturday 21st December and Sunday 22nd December in anyway I was early morning for my shopping, I have found the Waitrose in Newmarket poorly organized. A chaotic service on Saturday not so much for the few customers at 7.00 am but the lack of coordination in all from the too many staff facing up over the shelves and not many dealing with the till . As a fact I left my shopping and left the premises. This morning 22nd December Waitrose open at 9.30 for browsing where many customers as myself did not know as a few member of staff, questioning of one staff why I was inside the Waitrose premises at 9.35am. Outside the premises or over the window No indication of Christmas opening time at all I must say there is also a poor indication for the normal time in anyway. I do agreed if the 95% of staff are nice people unfortunately the 5% say all damaging what it is the good standard. Today in a volatile society I do not expect as use to be, but in a multi million company should be better prepared for what is related to the business and frankly in one off of the year where Christmas time is imminent, Christmas should be presented as happy moment and for what we saw entering at Waitrose of Newmarket it is just another routine day of another routine shopping. Even though it was fairly busy we managed to get a parking space easy. Used the scan & shop and it was so easy, and no queue. In and out really quickly. Coffee shop looked nice although I didn’t go in.

Just wanted to put a shout out to the politeness and assistance of Waitrose Newmarket early this morning. There are some card and contactless payment issues across many service sectors today and I couldn’t pay for my in store order contactless so needed to pop home to get my card. The cashier who served me, the store manager and customer services worked together to keep my order appropriately stored and organised until I returned. They were all so apologetic for a situation that was beyond their control on the hottest morning of the year so far. Thank you, the customer experience was brilliant and your help most appreciated.

Waiterose newmarket store is really friendley. And warmwelcomeing. And the waite&rose cafe staff is really friendley. And the cutlery is nice and clean and the cafe looks spotless. And the food and drinks are really nice

Charming and helpful staff. The fruit and veg section poor. Having to look elsewhere for fruit and veg.

Ample safe parking for customers. Lovely garden area. Fresh veg & fruit , as well as the baked goods & sweets are great. The Waitrose brand is reliable and often uses gourmet or seasonal ingredients yet reasonably affordable for most items. I would like to see more exotic fruit and national foods from alternative countries * PIC OF ONE OF MY CATS, she loves when she gets a waitrose cat food sachet

Coffee Shop poor all the cutlery wet and teaspoons marked Staff standing waiting for customers and could be buffing and drying cutlery instead of standing being lazy.

Supermarket seems fine (albeit quite expensive) with a good selection of products including a deli. What's not so good is the car park which is an absolute joke. Getting in is no problem but there are traffic lights to get out and if there is a queue then it could easily take 20 minutes to get out.

The engineer that designed the car park missed the mark on this job. It took FORTY-TWO minutes to get out of the parking lot!!! We will NEVER come to this location again.😕

Let’s preface this by saying, I’ve been going to this Waitrose for the past year and a half. Never have I ever had an experience like I did tonight. I was with my husband and daughter doing the weekly shop I do every Saturday. When one of the employees who followed me around the store the previous Saturday (when I was alone, I chalked this up to my just being paranoid) followed my family and I again this weekend. It even went as far as me doubling back to get grapes and when I went back my husband asked me about the flowers that were positioned in the front. I went to take a look and him and another employee cornered me in as if I was going to run out the door with this insanely huge cart that I could barely push anyway, where am I going to run? If I was a criminal, I surely wouldn’t last long if that was my great escape. I say all this to say, new guy that I’ve never seen before I saw you the first time in the liquor section and I thought you were a creep. But today it was confirmed when you were following my family and I around the store. It’s your job yes, but let’s use our critical thinking skills. Where could I have run? It’s a lovely waitrose and the usual staff are great, I do plan to speak to management when I make my trip next week as well and I will be taking his photo this time. Just so they can’t dismiss the fact that he’s targeting specifically me.

Good prices and nice shop decent staff but had some trouble with them. Clean but found one spill, would recommend only because some things are cheaper here than elsewhere.

Very unkind customer service. My son lost his mobile which was in a bag on the way home from Heathrow to Bury St Edmunds via Newmarket by a couch bus. We went to your cafe waiting for a driver to go home. We came back home and found the bag was missing, so I called them to ask to look for it in the cafe and their carpark (just at the bench at the entrance of their carpark) but she didn't bother helping me but just laughed at me on the phone! It was a really disgusting attitude which I never experienced at Waitrose in Bury St Edmunds. Especially after the long trip we had. How rude she is! I would never go there again.

I'm quite unhappy in the attitude of the staff! I buy at Waitrose for groceries virtually every day! While doing my shopping today, I tried to use my Waitrose card to get a coffee, but the staff was rude and dismissive. I had hoped that given the expensive pricing, at least the service would be superior than that of other supermarkets.

Really friendly Partners and a lovely store with lots of selection. I recommend a visit to the Meat and Fish Counters. Excellent selection, friendly Partners and great quality.

Pretty big waitrose have everything and even breakfast .Joseph, the security man, is amazing. I have watched him for years help the staff and shoppers, and his level of integrity is first class!.I recommend this place if you need to buy grocery

Terrible parking lot. The lights aren’t timed correctly so only 3-4 cars can exit the lot every minute or so. I was stuck in the lot for over an hour before I gave up and walked home.

Joseph is such an amazing colleague! He showed me where I can find the highest quality medium free-range 12 pack of chicken eggs. Thank you so much!

Not too busy, I found what I wanted (except the smoked Cornish salt which seems to have disappeared everywhere) and I picked up a couple of unusual items which you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Waitrose Newmarket is a lovely shop - not too big. Click and Collect from this store is an amazing service and the staff are so kind and wonderful.

Excellent selection, good offering of local products. The updated bakery offerings are much improved. Fish is discounted for members on Fridays.

Fab shop in town has all the quality you would expect from waitrose an a huge selection of stuff including lots of vegetarian an vegan stuff ! Large wine an alcohol section alongside their bakery counter fresh meat, cheeses an fish . They also have a cafe an customer toilets . The usual helpful an cheery staff an huge cqrpark make for a great shopping experience

Lovely new store layout, found all I wanted and more, the hours drive to get there was well worth it.

Visited Waitrose after 18months isolating having my groceries delivered. Since my last visit there have been quite a few changes, for the better I must add. It is so much easier to find things all clearly signed. The food all looks so fresh and displayed well You cant really beat the quality of food sold in Waitrose stores & the variety is excellent & surprisingly it is not as expensive as people think particularly if you order on line & buy food on offer, absolute bargains to be had. The check out person was really helpful & very cheerful. All in all an excellent visit.

The new layout in this Waitrose is nearly finished and the store definitely feels bigger and there is scope for more ranges. Staff are always helpful. New cafe Waite & Rose looks lovely!
