Wonderful couple of days at Worlington hall to celebrate my husband's fiftieth. Emma their events coordinator was outstanding and could not have been more helpful. The staff at this beautiful hotel were friendly, polite and helpful. Food was fabulous , waiting staff were attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The venue is a beautiful place for a private party and the accommodation is gorgeous. Huge thanks to the whole team for a wonderful couple of days

This incredible venue is such a find. It oozes classand sophistication from every pore. The food is outstanding and their extensive drinks and wine selection beats some of Londons high end restaurants. The decor is like modern art deco and very trendy. The extensive grounds, patio and lake also make it perfect for summer weddings...

A regular to The Hall. The atmosphere is always second to none and the beverages and food on offer is abundant. There are different rooms providing different options depending on the occasion!

What can we say other than excellent! Our one night stay could not have been better. Greeted by one of the two Michelle's on Tuesday afternoon and given the tour. Our room, 'The Charles' was delightful, oldy worldy with a clean on suite bath and shower. Very comfortable bed. Everything about the hotel has been tastefully renovated in a lovely English style. Our breakfast was very tasty with the restaurant to ourselves. Served by the other Michelle who couldn't do enough for us. We also met Michael, one of the owners who came to ask us about our stay and see that everything was OK for us. The hotel has a huge garden with a pond (and a Crock) with a decking area right next to the river. An all in perfect stay. Top marks from us! 🙂👍

The Brewers Tap: Where Brits Behave Like Brits and Yanks Behave Like Yanks Okay, so, the Brewers Tap in Lakenheath is a bit of a time warp. Think: old-school British pub, complete with a roaring fire, a dusty dartboard, and the kind of locals who can make a pint of bitter taste like nectar of the gods. But here's the kicker: this isn't your average British pub. Oh no, this place is a melting pot of cultures, thanks to its proximity to the American airbase. So, while you've got your traditional British blokes with their charming farmers' accents and their love of a good game of cribbage, you've also got a smattering of American servicemen who've clearly never seen a real pub before. It's a fascinating dynamic. You'll hear Brits discussing the latest football match while Americans try to figure out what a "banger" is. And then there are the inevitable misunderstandings. I once heard an American ask for a "Bloody Mary" and the barman looked at him like he'd asked for a unicorn. But that's all part of the charm of the Brewers Tap. It's a place where you can experience the best of both worlds, without having to leave the country. Just remember to mind your manners, because the locals are quick to call you out if you're not behaving like a proper Brit.
