Not sure how I’ve managed the last few months during the impromptu shut down of the coffee shop. I work nearby and send all my clients here for the best coffee and service in a clean and inviting atmosphere. I also use the cafe daily for my lunch time coffee and occasionally lunch or a snack; sometimes with friends or colleagues. All the staff in Waitrose Christchurch are wonderful but particularly Graham makes my day with his warm welcome, unrushed but efficient service and gorgeous soya lattes. The average age of resident in xchurch is 65 and it should not come as a surprise that any supermarket offering cafe services is a particular draw to our residents. Please don’t close down again!

better service than average supermarket. Prices generally a bit more expensive but better service and occasionally you will find a good deal. Waitrose own brand is decent

Did not find anything exceptional. Had to pay for parking but if goods bought over £10.00, refund of £1.00 given back. good location and lots of pay parking

Well stocked store.but found the coffee system unusual.boughtour cakes from the bakery assistant asked for coffees from her.she said she does not have cups so then we have ro queue up for a cup.when we at last get the coffee we find you only have 4seats.no cafe.our local Sherborne Waitrose is much better.more seats and lovely outside seating area and fantastic garden plants.

It is a quick stop off cafe good if you are shopping. You do have to buy a cake or biscuit to have a free drink. This is understandable. However I think that when I have spent a sizeable amount on their groceries a free drink should be exactly that.

On my latest visit to this cafe I was pleased to find that they now have some seats outside and as it was such a lovely day I tried it. Inside I ordered my free coffee using MyWaitrose card and for lunch had a cheese scone and there was an option to have it warmed up which I chose. It came with two pats of butter which was plenty. If you use the cafe you can't just order the free coffee you do have to buy a food item too and there is a great selection of really fresh food. This is a popular cafe and the outside seating really helps.

Soo excited that 'on the off chance' I ask d at the cafe which soup they had and they said my favourite one; Thai Chicken Soup!! I often pop in for take away soup and it's normally Tomato & Basil, Leek & Potato or Carrot & Coriander. All of which I LOVE but I needed a change......! My Waitrose take away Thai Chicken Soup was utterly scrumptious & I throughly recommend.

Café mainly for sandwich or cake and coffee/tea. Also has a few tables outside for the warmer days, which adjoin the carpark (£1 for 2 hours which can be refunded if £10 or more spent in store) Decent toilets which have recently been refurbished. Easy walking access via underpass to the town centre.

Hadn't realised that Waitrose now has a cafe, not been in a long time. Good selection of snacks and their Earl Grey tea was delicious, best I've had in a while. Parking costs 1 pound for 2 hours and if you buy more than 10...

The cafe is about average size for this well-known chain of supermarkets and is reached after a short walk through the store. It is airy andthe chairs are well-spaced. My coffee and sauage rools were quickly and politley served and well-cooked. There were not as many free newspapers laying around as in previous branches and they were lower grade papers e.g. The mail!! Be careful as the car-park outside is owned by the council and fees apply. If you spend over ten pounds in the super-market, then the fees can be redeeemd against purcahse.

This is really a tea and cake cafe, not much else on offer, having said that the cakes are delicious, and are quite often reduced in price, if you have a 'my waitrose' card you can get a hot drink for free, so tea and a slice of cake today cost me 80p, I don't think that's expensive. It was nice to just sit in the cafe and people watch before doing the shopping. I have to say the staff are a bit panicked by more than one customer! Also I wouldn't like to sit near the doors in winter! But overall not bad.

Waitrose have recently refurbished this store and now have incorporated a small cafe with seating if you are eating in or you can take away food or drinks. The toilets have also been upgraded and now look really nice. Parking is available on site but this attracts a fee however you can get this refunded if you shop in store. Staff were friendly and pleasant and the service prompt. The cafe offers a nice selection of cakes, sandwiches, snacks and light meals, You can also obtain your complimentary tea or coffee to takeaway from the cafe if you are a My Waitrose member and just need to show your card. This is a pleasant cafe in a nice modern store, with a good atmosphere. Very convenient if you are shopping in store.

Thought I walked into a joke shop at first. Staff just look at you whilst you wait to be served and pretend to be busy. The guy on his break served me in the end which shows how much his colleagues value him. Poor guy!

Can’t stop thinking about the food which we had on Friday night. It was absolutely delicious. Defo my new place to go. The flavours were amazing and the service was great too. Shame they had no coffee left which would have finished the whole experience off nicely, but all in all we loved it and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

We visited as a family of 4 midweek, staying in the local area, a bit more of a drinkers pub but the lad behind the bar was very pleasant and happy that we wanted to eat. Good food and drinks at reasonable prices. We would have stayed longer but the free wifi didn’t work or our data, we have one teen thats addicted to her phone!!
