Ruined a half term visit to London. Grandson had dodgy chicken and was up all night being sick with food poisoning - would appreciate compensation for the tickets bought for our trip

As far as chain restaurants go Wahaca is always a super solid bet. The margaritas are good. The Burritos are stacked. I can recommend the entire menu.

I had an amazing experience at wahaca oxford. All the staff were great but a particular shout out to Daisy who I believe is the manager, who went over and above to make our whole visit extra special. Thank you and we will be back.

Today we ate at the Wahaca restaurant. The food is tasty and the service from the waitress Inés is spectacular. Always looking out for us and smiling. Very kind and very smart. He speaks to you in English, French and Spanish. Let's go back.

Had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—authentic flavors that really hit the spot. But what really stood out was our waitress, Leah. From the moment we walked in, her smile was so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She was attentive, friendly, and made our meal even better with her great service. Fantastic customer service. Restaurant was full but space was found for me at a bar table where I was really well looked after. Food delicious with a great range to choose from.

Lovely food, great choices, delicious flavours, sadly the selection of soft drinks isn’t very good and we did have a communication issue with our waiter, but if you’re going for the food, then you will not be disappointed.

Food tasted great, but even better was Katalin's service. Really kind, helpful and gave great suggestions. Kitchen was a little busy, so food was a bit slow, but otherwise great.

It's ok, but far from full Mexican. The burritos have the smallest portion of meat possible. Chorizo is lacking, the other tacos looked ok

Lovely night out in Oxford Circus Wahaca. Friendly service from our waitress who reduced our bill when she realised I had chosen a Cocktail that was too spicy for me. Never did I think that would happen in central London. Our third time in this restaurant and it will not be our last.

The service was bad, we had to remind the waitress a couple of times to clear tables many orders were late some never arrived. . The food had a flat taste and not very warm. I went to wahaca covent garden a few years ago it was much better. Now i’ll never go again.

We ordered a variety of dishes, including tacos, taquitos, tostadas, and cauliflower bites, and each one was bursting with flavor. The tacos were fresh and perfectly seasoned, the taquitos had a delightful crunch, and the tostadas were an explosion of texture and taste. The cauliflower bites were a standout – crispy, flavorful, and they have a good range of vegetarian options. Overall great experience!

We had a lovely lunch as a family of 4. Our server Leah was great and the restaurant was very careful with our daughter who has a peanut allergy.

22/12/24: Brilliant lunch after Christmas morning in London with the kids. I have my favourites on the Wahaca menu but was keen to try the new additions and was super impressed. The smoky caramelised pork belly was divine, my absolute favourite, but the table outvoted me on the roast riverine organic squash which to be fair was delicious. Great service, great price, merry Christmas :).

A bit noisy, but the food was very tasty. We had the sharer favorites and that was (more than) enough for the two of us.

I've eaten in many Wahaca restaurants over the years, this is the worst one for service. The food is, as always, excellent. Sadly this branch is understaffed and overcrowded, leading to awful service. The staff seemed v unhappy. The review forced me to give at least 1 star for service, I'd give 0 if it were possible. We were a group of 6 and were given a cramped, noisy table too close to the neighbouring table. To get to my seat I had to squeeze between the tables, avoiding a hanging light at shoulder height. Service was incredibly slow with big gaps in people receiving food. We were given 2 water glasses and 1 water bottle, the drinks we order didn't arrive til after several main dishes. A child's meal arrived very quickly and she'd finished eating by the time the final mains arrived. Some of the food wasn't hot, seems it had been sitting around a while. The kids wanted some churros, so we had to ask for these before the waiter brought any menus as they were getting v bored. After 20 minutes they still hadn't arrived so had to ask again. They never cleared the plates from the table so they had to eat dessert amid the dirty plates. The only efficient bit of service was asking for the bill, they expected me to immediately pay the full bill without checking it. As we were 2 families we wanted to split the bill. 12.5% service charge was added automatically, disgraceful given the standard of service.

Siempre ocupado pero confiable. . La comida es deliciosa, agradable y relajado. Puede ser un poco golpeado y falta con el servicio, pero como con la mayoría de los restaurantes nunca tienen suficiente personal de camareros para los comensales. Recomiendo la mayoría de los platos, nunca he tenido una mala experiencia aquí y he estado bastantes veces.

We enjoyed our meal at Wahaca, Covent Garden this week. We had a homely Mexican dinner in the centre of London. We were vegetarian but there was a large vegetarian selection and lots of amazing dishes available to choose from. The nachos sharing platter was delicious, as was the cheese and bean quesadillas. We loved our meal and would highly recommend it to try for new tourists to London or any fans of authentic Mexican street food. There are many Wahaca branches around London.

Not super traditional Mexican obviously, but still great tasting food, homemade tortilla chips and quality ingredients. Add in great service and it's a 5 for me.

Food is usually good, service was not so good, considering it was a Wednesday and when we arrived ut was quite quiet, had to ask several times for the same thing.
