Amazing fish tacos! Good seating at the counter

The fish tacos are amazing. I don’t know how they do it, but it resembles an authentic fish taco. The empanadas are tasty, and all of the other tacos are also really good! My only call out is the oil that they drizzle on the tortilla chips—this is not necessary—a vegan cheese sauce would be better, obviously. Overall, everything is delicious here.

Went for my friend's birthday on weekend. Had a great time, thanks to exceptional service by Niamh. Def coming back!!

Good flavourful fresh food. Not all of us were vegan but everyone in the party enjoyed it. There was an issue with our bill but it was quickly rectified. Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Would recommend

We had the fully loaded tacos and skinny fries. Great flavour. As a meat eater, you would not know the dish was vegan - the whole flavours work together. I don't think it has to taste like real meat or cheese. I had a Mexican beer in a glass with lime, salt & chilli- wow, what an experience. Great vibe, not too big, very personal and great staff. Seats not very comfortable if sitting for longer period.

Popped in to Club Mexicana yesterday, I ordered the ‘bbq short rib’ burrito, side of skinny fries and slushy margarita. This was the best burrito I’ve ever had, packed full of flavour and crunch. I’m not vegan myself but my friend who I took is - I didn’t feel like I had compromised at all. Margarita slushy was delicious Atmosphere was great, it’s a small establishment which meant service was quick and attentive, we loved the tunes being played also. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to London A hidden jewel

Lovely staff and food too. It was a lot more refreshing and less heavy than I expected, the music inside was a little loud but other than that it was a great time.

Just a fantastic place to go for a quick or less quick bite if you're in central London. Eaten at club mexicana a few times. Always great food & fab service. Good portions, eyes always too big for the belly but you can't help wanting more.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the £17 I had a frustrating experience here during my lunch break, and it’ll definitely be my first and last visit. I ordered a chicken burrito, expecting a warm, satisfying meal, but what I received was closer to a cold, flavorless lettuce wrap. I even paid extra for guacamole and beans, yet no beans to be found —and isn’t it standard for a burrito to include beans? The menu didn’t mention lettuce, yet it was overwhelmingly full of it, making it feel more like a salad wrap than a burrito. Service only added to the disappointment. I waited longer than several newer tables around me, even though I was just getting a quick takeaway. I was directed to pay outside, which felt odd. Then, when I accidentally sat at a table in the neighboring restaurant, a staff member suggested I find a park bench instead, making it clear they didn’t want me sitting there. To top it all off, I paid £17 for this “burrito” that arrived lukewarm, with no carry bag, making it awkward to carry it. Overall, it felt like a total waste of money. Avoid!

Can't fault the food. I think it was inventive and interesting. The service let it down a bit. My sister found a load of chewing gum on her seat too late and it totally ruined her jeans. Not the team's fault it happened, but no one seemed that bothered. They basically said that it was half-term and kids were off (not helpful) and do their checks on Monday (again, not helpful). I wouldn't be shocked if it happened again before the end of the night as the seat wasn't moved. It's a shame really because as I say, the food was good, but put a bit of a dampener on the evening.

We went for tacos on Tuesday night. After a back and forth situation with the girl who is supposed to assign us a table (and nobody was paying attention to us) the rest was perfect. Good tacos, beers and nachos with cheese sauce. Atmosphere was nice and prices were accordingly to this neighborhood of London.

Love a good fully vegan spot! Tried the fried chick'n tacos and a cheezeburger taco. The food was amazing! Definitely worth the walk here! The staff were really amazing and it's part of a big food court area where you can try many different restaurants! Great food, great ambiance. 100% recommend trying

Fantastic vegan Mexican food! If you haven't been before, then I urge you to go asap. I can't offer a suggestion for what to eat because frankly it's all amazing. The fish tacos were realistic, the burritos are prepared to perfection.

As a long time vegan I can recommend this amazing place as probably the best vegan food I ever had; would visit London again just to go here. Also fabulous service from a lovely lady with a Winnie the Pooh shirt :)

PATHETIC SERVICE and sub standard QUALITY of food just keeps going down the drain! Painful when one of your fav mexican restaurants does this after 2-3 yrs of great food and great service. Recently we took our guests to this place when the ribbed tacos (which we called for 12 pieces) were under cooked making it so difficult for us to chew the jackfruit, when informed the staff they said "oh it's the new chef - thanks for the feedback" and gave us some stupid 5 coupons for complimentary tacos for the next time - INSTEAD of removing that item from the bill or getting freshly made ones!! And to top this off the APPALLING service - the staff starts standing on your head (inhospitable young waitresses) for the last order and drinks and then comes to you while your eating asking you to pay as if you will runaway while you're still eating - IT WAS SO ANNOYING - if the management reads this review and has any courtesy please refund my money, fire your staff / train them to match their service standards for the standards your restaurant has build over the last few yrs!

I didn't realise the place was vegan until we sat down. We had 3 different tacos which were really tasty and the margaritas were great too!

My friend (non-vegetarian) recommended this place so I brought my parents (both vegetarian) there for lunch , it was the best meal we had in London. We had the tortilla with guacamole to start ,then BBQ ribs , fish and chicken tacos for main course . The best one is BBQ ribs followed by fish then chicken.

Really enjoyable! The food was great and the service was excellent. Fully vegan! The short rib was a favourite.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful and pleasant gallery, has indoor and outdoor tables (food court type). I really liked the service! I ordered two tacos: BBQ Short Rib Taco (excellent) and Chick'n Taco (I didn't really like the texture and flavor of the chicken). To accompany, white wine. Dessert, churros with chocolate sauce. It was delicious, but it could have been fried for longer and added more sugar and cinnamon, as the chocolate was bitter, so there was little sweetness for a dessert (and I don't like very sugary sweets). As for the price, I thought it was ok.

Went in on a Tuesday evening; being from elsewhere, I'm not used to places being so busy on a Tuesday but I was quickly seated at the bar as it was just me. Service was timely and attentive, and the servers were all lively, friendly and welcoming. It was nice to see them all interacting and getting on well together! I ordered tortillas, salsa Verde, and the bbq rib burrito. It was all prepared freshly and quickly. The food is so flavourful and delicious, I couldn't fault it at all. I would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back!

Not clear it is a vegan place. Food tasted off. Menu shows fish and chicken tacos. Not clear that it wasn't real fish or chicken. It was only apparent on one of the taco choices. Staff not very inclusive minded or tolerant towards clientele of different lifestyles. Terrible experience.

Awesome menu, really fresh ingredients and amazing flavour. I have never had a burrito (or con queso!) like that in my life, vegan or non-vegan. I especially loved the bbq burrito and my partner thought the fish tacos were unbelievable. The whole team were super friendly and smiley, but a big shout out to Brogan for going above and beyond to help with tailoring the menu for allergies, being so kind and making our experience so great.

This place is popular, so we did not mind the waiting and am so happy we did wait! Fully loaded nachos are just dangerously good! I mean addictively good. We went back to get more :D What magic makes vegan cheese so gooey?!?! "Fish" and "cheeseburger" tacos are out of this world good, and the sauce that came with empanadas was delicious. Only downside is that it is pricy, and I am mad that I did not notice that there were churros on the menu (could you ship to Iceland? 😂 ) I will definitely visit again when in London.

The nachos are very delicious, they are not super heavy and the flavor is authentic. I ordered a burrito in a bowl and the meat is spectacular. It comes accompanied by rice and salad. On the rice, a mild green sauce and on the side an aioli sauce. The quantity of everything is large. The service is attentive and very friendly.

Really love this place, so many vegan options and nice drinks (recommend the michelada). Food does often come out cold though and we've had to send it back on more than one occasion. The food is so good it deserves the 5 star rating all the same

Las camareras estaban en constante movimiento, por lo que era difícil llamar su atención para ordenar y obtener el cheque. No teníamos comida, solo bebidas frías.

The dishes were delicious but it would be good if they reduced the use of coriander. Coriander overpowers everything else because of its strong flavor.

After "Joe O" stole our seats, Brogan swooped in to our rescue and was a fab host and made us chuckle after the slight hick up. 🦸‍♀️ Emma made fab recommendations! 🔥 The BBQ Short Rib Burrito was fire and, appreciate her coming to my rescue after my partner accused me for being a liar when claiming I wanted a non-alc Chelada. 😭 We will for sure be back!

If you have kids, don’t bother going to this restaurant. I had a horrible experience yesterday. We were so happy to find a nice vegan place and managed to sit in busy Kingly Court. My 5 year old was having a small box of kid’s pizza from next door shop. Just when she took a bite, we have been told that this is the last slice she will be eating, she can’t eat that food and has to put the box away. I was simply told that my child has to wait hungry and I should “enjoy” the food they brought. Although the restaurant doesn’t have a kids menu or offer anything that kids may enjoy, they don’t allow kids to eat 4 slices of pizza bought from kingly court. The way we were told about this made me very disappointed and I had to leave the restaurant with my child without eating the mains. I have never seen such a rude attitude before. It completely ruined a very much awaited Friday family night out. ————— Update: The management contacted me and handled the case professionally.

I had an amazing time at Club Mexicana SoHo! The food was absolutely delicious, with bold flavors 100% plant-based. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, adding to the overall great experience. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for top-notch vegan options.

It's so sad 😓. We used to love Club Mex, and went at least twice a month. Now it feels a bit like flying ryanair - getting nickle and dimed for every little thing that should already be included. Beans in a £12.50 burrito? An additional £2. Guacamole, too? That'll be another £2.50. It's tasty food, but paying £19.50 (!!!) after tip for a fast-food burrito just feels impossible to stomach. I know times are hard for restaurants, but it's pushed it from "go regularly" to "go never" for us and all our friends.

Read from a Vegan blog about this vegan tacos to try out. Hunt it down and it was crowded on a rainy day. Got a counter seat for the 3 of us with lots of bags, wasn't very comfortable but it was alright for a quick bite. Food was appetising, nothing wow but was happy we get to even have Vegan Tacos. Just don't expect it to taste like meat or real cheese.

Amazing service, my friend has a sesame allergy and they were incredibly helpful. They kept checking in on her, and really really friendly. Will be coming back!

In the heart of Soho you can find this nice 100% vegan Mexican restaurant. The service is the highlight and the food a close second. I’d recommend the tacos and trying a few out. The fish taco in particular is very “lifelike”. The price is what you’d expect in central London along with the service charge. Quite pricy but worth a visit if you’re in the area

Visited twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. I'm not vegan, but I appreciate good food and the food was excellent, as were the vibes. Very friendly and welcoming staff, full marks to our waitresses as they were all fantastic, friendly, and attentive. For dinner there was about a 20 minute wait for a table but everything was well organised. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the fish tacos as the avocado overwhelmed the fish and I found the flavour to be a bit lacking, but the BBQ short rib burrito was just divine, one of the best burritos I've ever had. The churros and the nachos were also great. The cocktails were also fantastic. Will be back.

22/12/23 **Fish Taco** The fish taco was brilliant, featuring a complete balance of flavours and the perfect texture. The fish was crispy and delicious, like the ideal component of a good sandwich. However, the overall execution of the taco as a whole was slightly disappointing. **Jackfruit Taco** The jackfruit taco was sublime. It had a great texture and a BBQ taste that was crazily similar to pork. The flavours were well-balanced, but the dish could benefit from better-pickled or fresher onions to enhance its overall profile. **Service** Cristina, our server, was super accommodating and very aware of the food flavour profiles, adding to the positive dining experience. The tacos felt reheated, which was understandable but slightly impacted the freshness.

Was looking for vegan food and they did not disappoint. The jack fruit tacos and cheeseburger burrito were incredible, I'd highly recommend coming here for fresh vegan mexican food. The service was great and the atmosphere was friendly and enjoyable. Can't wait to come back!

Went on a Tuesday but they weren't doing the all you can eat tacos which is a shame. Food was very tasty though. Me and my friend tried the fish, chicken, cheeseburger and short rib. Fish was easy the big winner for me, actually insane. Would skip the chicken - was on the tougher side. Found the gauc to just be smashed avocado which is always sad. Would recommend the largarita which is fun and tasty. Actual marg is on the sweeter side of things just so you know

I went here for lunch with my girlfriend and if I could give it six stars I would, the food was great, the staff were the best and the atmosphere was brilliant.

Nachos are some of the best we've ever had! (And we've had a lot of nachos 😅) It was very busy being a nice evening in the summer but the service was super friendly. We managed to get a table after 10 minutes or so but would recommend booking if you can as it gets very busy. The food and drinks do come out very quickly though! Price wasn't bad at all for central London. Would definitely come back!

this is one of my go to spots, the food is great value, full of flavour, and the service is always perfect. Our server last night was lovely, the bill said their name was Charlotte so hopefully that’s correct but they made us feel super welcomed, extremely friendly service and helpful too. Totally vegan restaurant, and really delicious. We enjoyed tacos and burritos similar to "BBQ ribs", "breaded fish", "chicken", and "cheeseburger". The dishes are extremely elaborate, full of flavors, and would reconcile anyone with vegan cuisine. The little sweet touch of churros with dark chocolate sauce for dessert was just perfect to end this meal. And Cristina's welcome and advice were more than warm. If you are "aficionados" of this type of cuisine, then go there with your eyes closed, and if you are not, go and discover this establishment, you could develop a taste for it for the rest of your life!

My favourite vegan place. If you want really good Mexican food with many options this the place to go. The food is always fresh amazing. The service is always good. The most friendly and nice staff always making me feel welcome. You need to give this place a try if you’re in Carnaby Street.

After running around all day, this dining experience was a last minute decision. We showed up and there looked to be a long wait, but we, as well as the three parties in front of us, were seated almost immediately. Jannette was outgoing and kind, thought they were busy she never rushed us or made us wait. The food was fantastic! 100% vegan, including some pretty spectacular churros at the end of the meal. Highly recommend and would absolutely go back!

Amazing vegan Mexican restaurant in kingly court. The music was a little bit loud inside but didn't bother us too much. The service was absolutely excellent, very nice staff. I had the nachos to share and the bbq short rib burrito in a bowl with guacamole. These were large portions so I couldn't finish it all. The ribs were really well made flavours excellent.

Club Mexicana is a pure vibe. Olivia sat us down, we informed her that we needed to be quick as had a show to get to. She was onit straight away. Within 7 mins we had all food and drinks on table! Food and drinks where delightful, as was the service from Olivia. Lovely conversation and laughs about the slogan on her t shirt 'Tacos not Tories' thanks Olivia. We will be returning very soon.

I love this place - the food is always fantastic (I've taken non-vegan friends who prefer it over meat-based Mexican vibes), the atmosphere is fantastic, and more importantly the staff are absolutely incredible. A massive shout-out in particular to both Olivia and Cristina, who literally elevated the entire experience for both of us - a massive credit to both the restaurant and humanity in general.

I had the to-fish tacos and a burrito for takeaway (though I haven't tried that yet). The to-fish tacos were good, though a bit too resembling to fish for my taste. The first time I tried the food at this place around five years ago, I was very impressed, so I feel like my first impression was better. I visited around 5pm on a workday and the place was super busy, but the staff was able to find me a table. They were nice and welcoming, though the atmosphere was a bit hectic and noisy, as it was pretty busy. Service was really fast for both the eat-in and takeaway. Reasonably priced but expect an automatically added 12.5% service charge; which is fine when the service is outstanding, I would just suggest making customers aware of it beforehand. Still, I am very supportive of this place and recommend it, as it offers good and tasty vegan food.
