Delicious flavours and lovely waiting staff!

I had dinner with a friend at Mexicana Club in Kingly Court last week and I won’t be going back. The service was attentive, informative and courteous. The atmosphere was very bland. Nothing to write about. The non-alcoholic cocktails didn’t taste of much. We ordered the loaded nachos. It was a huge serving and the nachos and the guacamole were nice but the vegan cheese was totally tasteless. We ordered 3 tacos and a bowls of sticky ribs. The tacos were soft, which wasn’t to my liking. The breaded mushrooms were rather wet and not crunchy at all. The short ribs tasted nice but the accompanying salad was very bland. I’m not sure it had any dressing. We shared a serving of churros for dessert, much needed as we left about a 1/3 of the main untouched! I was very disappointed. I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend the place to anyone.

The short rib taco is one of the best vegan tacos in the world. Have I been everywhere in the world? No, but I'm from NYC where I've had many vegan tacos and I've also been to Mexico City and Cancun where I ate every single vegan taco I could get my hands on. This taco ties with a vegan taco fish stand in CDMX. Every time I come to London, I have to have it. When I leave London, every time I eat a taco I think of this taco. I saw that the sister restaurant of this location closed and I hope this never closes. It is one of the reasons I would keep coming back to London. #addicted #besttacointheworld

10/10 absolute PERFECTION - the short rib taco blew my mind. Staff were excellent too, can't wait to return.

A very nice place! I’ve been there a few times. The loaded nachos are delicious, and the tacos are always fresh and full of flavour.

The menager is the worst waitress ever, so arogant and slow.

Good vegan restaurant with fast service and friendly staff

No nos dijeron que era un restaurante vegano. aunque esto puede ser de sentido común para la gente, no estaba en negrita en el menú. en realidad estaba en letra pequeña en la parte inferior que no llamaría la atención de nadie. después de pedir la comida descubrimos esto, y decidimos probarlo de todos modos. el entrante de empanadas estaba bien, nada especial. pero la principal, estaban mal. sabía lleno de cilantro y amargo. no solo esto, la camarera nos estaba mirando fijamente para terminar así que nos sentimos apresurados. incluso cuando había mesas de repuesto nos observó todo el tiempo y se sentía muy intruso. la comida era honestamente tan mala y cuando pedimos que el cargo por servicio para quitarse la camarera nos dio una mirada sucia. en general en realidad nunca volvería aquí, si eres vegano entonces tal vez probarlo; pero Londres tendrá 10000 x mejores opciones para sus preferencias.

Staff were really nice but the food itself wasn't as good as I had hoped, although it was good to try some different vegan food. We had the buffalo mushroom tacos which was nice although a bit oily, the rib tacos and the buffalo chick'n burrito which was just ok for me. Also we had asked for no jalapenos and all the dishes still came with it unfortunately.

This is a fab vegan and dog friendly restaurant that never fails to deliver on customer service.

We visited Club Mexicana on a Sunday evening before a Bank holiday. They are located within Kingly Court. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. There are only about 7 tables and some bar style seating inside and picnic tables in the outdoor courtyard. The colorful decor and lively atmosphere made for a fun evening. The kitchen is open plan so you are able to watch the chefs cooking. The facilities were also appreciated. You can request a key from staff to use the Court’s shared restroom on the top floor (there is an elevator), past the security office. It is incredibly well maintained. The food was really good! Being vegan we haven’t been able to have queso in a long time so it was nice to get some nachos. All our dishes were well flavored and vegetable ingredients seemed fresh. As spice lovers we would have loved to see some spicier hot sauce options even if at an additional cost. Regardless we had a great evening and plan to return!

Ermegeeeeeerd! SO good. Go right away. Omnivores and vegans alike will love this food. DELISH!

Low quality tacos, I don't recommend

Extremely rude staff. I called to ask if they had a place for two available and terrible Rogan said that they don’t do reservations of the phone. I said I knew that I just wanted to know if there was a place as I was nearby and could walk somewhere else otherwise. She said she couldn’t give me a time estimate over the phone and when I asked why she literally hang up on my face. Never been to this disrespectful place and after that I can safely say I never will.

Amazing vegan Mexican food. I’ve missed cheese nachos, and they did not disappoint. The ‘BBQ’ rib taco was my favourite, but to be honest all the tacos are great. Highly highly recommend.

Gran comida y gran servicio. Teníamos tacos y burritos y la comida estaba bien cocinada. Lo único que no nos gustó mucho fue la cola, no era lo habitual sino una marca diferente y no sabía a nada. El servidor era genial.

Great food! Must try even if not vegan.

Good food and excellent location. The only thing was that they charged us a tip without asking us.

First off, I am vegan. There is no justification as to why one burrito and a small drink should cost +£25. I am for supporting vegan businesses but this is a rip off. We brag about rice, beans and veggies being the cheapest foods on the planet, then why does a burrito meal cost more than £25? No, the small bit of meat replacement and vegan cheese doesn’t justify this either. The waitress asked me if I wanted black beans and I said yes considering burritos normally come with them. Turns out I had to pay an extra £ 2.50 on top of the high price of the burrito itself. Who charges £2.50 for a tablespoon worth of black beans? The food was below average. Portion small. And the price is simply unjustifiable. Won’t be coming again even if the prices weren’t so high, the food is simply isn’t good.

Chomped at this little gem at the weekend. I’d give it 3.5 stars but obviously Google doesn’t allow it so down to 3 we go. Firstly a beer and a cocktail. Now I understand everywhere in London has to make money etc, so things have to Be slightly more expensive. But when I’m paying £6.50 for a can of beer that probably cost at most £1, I’m instantly saddened. Sharer plates loaded nachos - 5/5. Easily the best vegan nachos I’ve ever consumed. The cheese didn’t have that weird superglue texture some vegan cheeses have and honestly these were great. Shawarma burrito - 3.5/5. Tasty and very filling, the seitan gets a bit sickly for me but still a decent burrito Tacos - 4/5 all 3 highly approved by the boss. Slightly annoying it’s 3 for £13.50 if you get all the same type but it is what it is. Another venue where a cushion on a chair is frowned upon like an applause on an airplane landing. It baffles me restaurants don’t care about comfort. Another heinous act of having the 12.5% service charge automatically on the bill. Total Nonsense purely designed to make you feel awkward by asking to take it off. I would recommend if you’re vegan looking to try something you haven’t had before but otherwise probably not.

Amazing staff at this branch especially the lady. Didn't know the food was vegan but the tacos were delicious. Best to visit this branch as the one at liverpool street offers a limited menu.

We got sat at a table immediately by the friendly staff who went out of their way to provide a great service. Our drinks arrived shortly after ordering, and they were delicious. I highly recommend the mango and jalapeno frozen margarita. The food itself was simply incredible. We ordered 3 different types of tacos. The BBQ rib taco was so good I came very close to ordering another one. Sadly the fish taco was unavailable that day, but I'll definitely be back to try it. I've heard good things. Highly recommend this place on all counts.

Absolutely stunning. Best vegan Mexican food I’ve ever had. The cheezeburger burrito is incredible. Fries and empanadas were delicious. The guys are super nice and friendly and the owner also offered me some freshly fried churros that tasted reeeeeeally good! Everything was perfect and deserve a come back! 💖

Club Mexicana in Soho, London styles itself as a little slice of taco heaven. The Soho restaurant is located in a food court that has several other restaurants. There's limited seating, though there is space outside, and it's normally quite busy given its central location. It had a fun atmopshere with music playing in the background. I didn't go for tacos myself but decided on the "Cheezeburger" bowl, consisting of ground "beef", queso, pico de gallo, burger sauce, dill pickle, salsa verde, and chipotle salsa roja. The bowl was brought out fairly quickly, and tasted fresh. The flavours were powerful and well-balanced with a lovely tang from the pickle. The sauce was brilliant, too. The "beef" was meaty but wasn't overpowering the other fantastic flavours of the dish. I had the churros for dessert. They were covered in cinnamon dust and were soft and fluffy on the inside. The dip was a lovely melted chocolate sauce, the star of the dish. In you are in Soho, I'd definitely recommend Club Mexicana as a place to eat. It's 100% plant-based so everything on the menu is suitable for those eating vegan.

Nice place, tasty food, delicious cocktails, and very friendly stuff. The only problem is that the toilets are not inside the restaurant and you have to go upstairs and also is a little bit pricey. Apart that everything is fine. Will come again😊

Outstanding plant based food in the centre of London. The place is in a court full of restaurants with a very nice atmosphere, easy to distinguish because it is also very pink. I specially recommend the BBQ tacos. Service was excellent as well, Charlote took very good care of us and was always helpful.

Very popular restaurant, it took a while to get a table, we waited about 30 minutes or so. But the food is amazing, you really have to try it. We ordered different tapas and they were all great! I especially liked BBQ Short "Rib" (amazing!), but also Al Pastor, Baja To-Fish tasted great. It really is a matter of taste. My partner liked the Cheezeburger the best. You can't make a bad choice here. Everything is vegan and delicious! The ambience is so cute, pink. Staff very warm and friendly 🌱

Was looking forward to have dinner at Club Mexicans, but the waiter was probably trying for the “world’s rudest waiter contest” competition. They have a menu right by the side of the door. The second we arrived, my husband and I thought “let’s read the menu and see how to get a sit”. That same second the waiter came and said 2x: how can I help, how can I help? And before we could even answer she said “don’t block the door, please step aside”. Why you add the menu by the restaurant’s door if people can stand there to read it? She didn’t let us inside the restaurant as we were an obstruction. So, we left :( very disappointing to have such a rude person just before a show.

Gran opción de comida mexicana vegana, si estás en la calle Carnaby. Como restaurante vegano vale la pena probar. No hay mucho asiento en el interior, para un día frío puede ser un desafío. Las bebidas se sentían un poco caras para el tipo de restaurante que es. Ciertamente conveniente, pero en mi opinión la comida era poco agobiante. Esperaba más sabores mexicanos. Pero debo dar notas completas a los servidores y la decoración.

Amazing vegan food - incredible that everything is plant-based and so tasty. We sampled almost everything as a mix of tacos and burrito - the To-fish and "ribs" were our favourites. Great drinks and a banging retro playlist.

Amazing experience 👌 👏. Super lovely staff, restaurant in a lovely little courtyard and amazing decor. I had a lovely pina colada slushie and my partner had a red wine, both were yummy 😋. Food was so fun and delicious. We shared two types of tacos 🌮, the al pastor and the Mexican fried chicken, both were great. Lastly we had the nachos with three dips, which you could have free refills on. Definitely recommend this place. Great place.

Came in for bite and I have to say the plant based food was amazing even for a non vegan, the bbq ‘rib’ tacos and loaded nachos were to die for. Atmosphere and music was great too. Shoutout to the staff Charlotte, Clare and Neath, you guys were great.Super accommodating, friendly and just general good vibes. Will definitely come back :)

I recently had a disappointing experience at Club Mexicana that I feel compelled to share. I ordered the tacos, expecting a burst of flavor, but to my dismay, they were completely bland. It was as if they had forgotten to season them at all. A taco without flavor is a huge letdown, especially when you’re looking forward to a delicious meal. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was incredibly dismissive and rude. When I tried to express my concerns, they seemed uninterested and offered no assistance. It felt like I was bothering them just by being there. As we were leaving, one of the staff members even shut the door in my face, which was the final straw. Overall, my visit to Club Mexicana was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend it based on the lack of flavor in the food and the poor customer service. I hope they can improve in the future, but for now, I won't be returning.

Restaurante Shoreditch reservado para una fiesta familiar para celebrar un evento. Siendo mexicanos uno hubiera esperado que tuvieran arroz en stock... pidan bebidas... pidan comida entonces boooommmm... no hay arroz, así que no puede tener lo que la mayoría de la gente había pedido, pero está bien ir corriendo a Tesco Express para comprar algo... er no gracias. Bebidas en la casa y una disculpa sin embargo arruinó la tarde. Ningún servicio de atención al cliente de hecho era tan triste como el clima. Muy pobre show.

Solo tuvimos la oportunidad de ir aquí una vez, pero nos encantaron los tacos y burritos que elegimos. Eran muy sabrosos y bien - equilibrado en sabor. Me alegré de poder encontrar algo que no fuera muy picante, ya que temía que eso no fuera posible con la comida mexicana. Tengo el taco de “costilla” corta de barbacoa y estaba muy bueno!

It was very nice and enjoyable. Whole fish and chicken were placed in tacos. If you want to go to the toilet, take the key from the service staff and go to the top floor 😁

Club Mexicana is a fantastic spot for vegan tacos! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the vegan chicken taco was the standout—full of flavor and perfectly crafted. A must-visit for plant-based food lovers looking for bold, exciting flavors in a fun, vibrant atmosphere.

I loved this place. It's vegan, the meat alternatives taste great, service was really nice and I'd go there again any time. Not too many seats inside but if you can grab one you should go for it and get a frozen margarita. 14-16 pound for a burrito is also fine for London standards imo, so all in all, yes go to club Mexicana if you're asking yourself that. We had a stressful day when we went there and they truly made it better!

Very very good atmosphere in an 80s style the staff is incredibly friendly 🌼 100% plant-based cuisine 🌱 is delicious! A must for anyone wanting to eat vegan 🌱 Please note the toilets are 2 floors higher and require the key!

Excellent service Great spare ribs tacos Try it!

Had lunch here on a whim. Blown away. Did not know it was a vegan restaurant and if I hadn’t been told, after eating I would have been none the wiser. Super delicious. I was sure the meat was meat but it wasn’t but it didn’t matter. It tasted like meat and was delicious. Jannette our server was lovely. Friendly, efficient, wonderful!

Very expensive for what you get, after that you get 2 scratch cards and you win Margeritas, but you can only get these with your next order

Delicious Taco is here if you are a fan of it! Especially the BBQ Taco! And please don't forget to order FROZEN MARGARITAS; they are fantastic, especially MANGO JALAPEÑO! Congrats to the restaurant team at SOHO; they have a lovely staff.

We didn’t realize it was 100% plant based but it was some of the best food we had. We spent about 17£ each and it was all worth it. The waitress was super kind and she made the whole experience more enjoyable. I would 100% come back here.

Nothing tastes like mexican sadly.

I went here with a vegan friend and I got told the food was great, it was not I had a stomach ache the whole evening after eating it! The food was so dry and had an awful aftertaste, I removed the buffalo sauce however other orders of the same tacos showed it was only a drizzle which would not have changed how awfully dry the food was. It had the same constancy as eating paper and tasted very bland the ranch mayo was the best part and I am an avid mayo hater. I was vegetarian for 3 and a half years and have never tasted vegan or vegetarian food which has been so bland and dry before would never reccomend to anyone, the tacos are horrific I tasted a bite of my freinds burrito which was considerably better nothing I would ever choose to have again. You are better off going to Tesco and buying quorn chicken nuggets and cooking them at home and putting them in a wrap than eating here. I was also charged 17 for the tacos meaning the service change on a split bill came up to £4 for them to simply lift the food over the kitchen to the counter we were sat at and bring a bottle of water over to the bar.

there was one staff member who sounded Australian with blue eyes who was amazing and was filled with such kindness she was amazinggggggggg she chased up our food and made our experience so pleasent, but it was a bit cold inside and food took long but that's understandable

Love everything I have eaten here - both takeaway and sit down. Great chips and salsa as well. It’s always busy it seems, but worth the wait. In Kingsley Court, so the crowd is expected.

An amazing place, wonderful food and the staff really made our visit. It was our wedding anniversary and they really looked after us.

The food was incredible, the BBQ rib burrito was quite possibly the best burrito of my life. There is so much flavour in everything and the wrap is thin and crispy, as it should be! The garlic mayo was also really flavourful and we just couldn't get enough. I was most impressed by the service though, first place we've been to that treats allergies very seriously and has a binder with every ingredient listed for their food so you can check for yourself if you're going to be safe eating it. I wish every place had this! All of the staff were really friendly and helpful too, it was the best vegan meal we've had. Can't wait to come back and try everything else!

Deplorable experience, we had not noticed that this restaurant was not a real “Mexican” but a vegan restaurant and therefore the burritos did not contain “meat”. Unclear wordings, using the terms chicken with '(chick'n) or even "beef" we absolutely did not understand, quite honestly. Considering other comments, we apparently weren't the only ones. The taste is absolutely inedible, whether it's the tortilla which has an uncooked appearance, or the non-fibrous "chicken", we don't even know what we're eating unfortunately.. if I had wanted to eat vegan I would have opted for it. willingly turned to Lebanese gastronomy with falafels or an Indian to eat a good lentil Dahl. In addition, the burrito has very little rice but a lot of cabbage and salad (NOT mentioned on the menu by the way). 2 burritos and 2 fries for 50€, this food should absolutely be banned, for the respect of Mexican gastronomy but also for everyone's health, present yourself as a vegan place and this clearly. THANKS!

The fish tacos are amazing. I don’t know how they do it, but it resembles an authentic fish taco. The empanadas are tasty, and all of the other tacos are also really good! My only call out is the oil that they drizzle on the tortilla chips—this is not necessary—a vegan cheese sauce would be better, obviously. Overall, everything is delicious here.

Had a lovely lunch here today. The short rib tacos were divine and the wonderful service we received from Janet made our afternoon even better!

We had the fully loaded tacos and skinny fries. Great flavour. As a meat eater, you would not know the dish was vegan - the whole flavours work together. I don't think it has to taste like real meat or cheese. I had a Mexican beer in a glass with lime, salt & chilli- wow, what an experience. Great vibe, not too big, very personal and great staff. Seats not very comfortable if sitting for longer period.

Good flavourful fresh food. Not all of us were vegan but everyone in the party enjoyed it. There was an issue with our bill but it was quickly rectified. Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Would recommend
