This is a lovely wee shop/cafe to take your dog. Cake & coffee was amazing. Dog 🍩 was wolfed down by my dog. Lots of pet options to buy too.

Friendly staff and really nice coffee! Very accommodating for dogs! Would defiantly recommend and great selection of items on menu!

We visited Wags and Whiskers just over a week ago and it did NOT disappoint. The shop is incredibly welcoming and the owner was lovely and very helpful regarding dog food (of course). We sat in the cafe with our dog. The service was brilliant. There is a human menu and a separate dog menu which really adds to the experience. Whilst we were there we bought a Mud Daddy and a pick and mix bag of natural dog treats. We were blown away by the amount of high quality products which are in stock. It will not disappoint! Definitely worth a visit for sure if you’re a dog lover. Also brilliant for socialisation for puppies and dogs in general.

I have a cup of tea and a cake. And got my pouch a dog beer and dog cake. Bell loved the cake but not 5he beer. Staff were great and so warm and welcoming

My dogs absolutely love this place. We go about once per month. Carl and the girls in the cafe are so sweet and are definite dog lovers, they always fuss over our dogs, who obviously lap it up alongside their buffalo sausage and woof beer! We’re so lucky to have this on our doorstep and try to use it as much as possible. Lovely human choices on the menu, especially scrambled egg on toast it’s YUM! Also do really good coffee. Reasonable pricing, £8 for scrambled eggs on toast, coffee, two buffalo sausages for the dogs.

It’s such a shame that I have to write this review. I bought a groupon voucher and intended to use it for my daughters birthday. I was on Facebook and came across a post that said they were having to close extra days during the week. I rang to see if the voucher could be extended and he said that was fine, I explained I would be there on the Friday. We went today after school, knowing that it closed for 4pm we rushed over and arrived for 3.20pm. We were greeted by a friendly girl but I was told she had turned everything off so we couldn’t have anything! I said but you close at 4pm? There’s still a good 40 minutes! She said that they turn it all off half an hour before closing. But there was still 10 minuets! She wouldn’t budge. I was so upset for my daughter. So we had to have cake instead, sitting there feeling rather embarrassed and in the way. Such a shame. It was our first time there and we won’t be returning and I won’t be recommending.

Lovely place to chill with your dog and friends over a cuppa and a piece of cake . Lovely friendly staff always make you feel welcome and spoil your dogs. We love this cafe and are so glad we have one in our town . Our dog is our family and to be able to involve him on our days out is brilliant. We enjoy the group walks once a month and get to meet some lovely people. Bringing our town and dog owners together. Lots of discounts and good offers on. All the extras the cafe bring is brilliant for example photo shoots , monthly walk , can’t wait for more exciting visits to the cafe x

I love this cafe, it's great to be able to go somewhere that not only allows my yorkshire terrier inside but welcomes him and has a whole menu to choose from. Try the cakes too... they're delicious!

Took my spaniel to this canine cafe. Both he & I were made extremely welcome. Full human and canine menus available; with amazing Thai Chicken soup for me & the buffalo doggie sausages were wolfed down by the dog!

I have visited this cafe numerous times with my Yorkies and also regularly shop at the nearby Wags and Whiskers boutique. Each visit is a pleasure. Carl, the owner and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. All dogs are also made welcome, large and small. It is quite small and could easily be filled if it was twice the size and that is a testament in itself. The food is delicious and the cakes are divine. It is well worth a visit,with or without a dog!

Love this cafe, they do amazing coffee and delicious scones! So many different things for the doggies to choose from, and all of their treats are made with the best ingredients so you know you're not feeding your dog rubbish. My dog can sometimes be barky but if theres lots of other dogs in I try to sit out the way as there is plenty of space to move around if you have a reactive doggo like mine. The staff and other customers are always very understanding if he does have a little bark! I’ve been going to this cafe since it opened and its only getting better with time. I definitely recommed you visit if you're in the area.

Amazing place I’ve been coming here a long time now and have to say it the best ever me and my little four legged companion love coming it’s our Monday morning treat. staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you I very highly recommend should be more places as dog friendly as it is thank you 😊 one very happy customer.

Love visiting the Cafe frequently with my dog. We are always made to feel welcome and my dog is always greeted with a fresh bowl of water and a fuss from the staff. Lots of items on the menu to choose from for humans too! Love that they cater for vegans!

Have been visiting this Cafe since it opened and I cannot praise it enough. The food and atmosphere are great - lovely staff too - and cater well for both dogs and humans. Well worth a visit with your furry friend/s.

I have been in a number of times as a customer and lots of times as part of my job working with businesses in the town centre. Tati my Dad's dog loves it here as she gets a treat and made a fuss of and even when she knocked her water over, staff were brilliant. Carl has worked hard to create a great dog friendly cafe and is always welcoming. There are high quality dog treats and top treats for the human owners too. A fabulous place and always great to visit with your canine friend.

-Lovely pleasant staff! -Loads of choice for dogs and human! -Clean and tidy! We received Oliver when he was a few months old from a family that didn’t have enough time for him, he was a very nurvous dog and not ust to other people and dogs. Coming to the cafe regularly and on the dag walks have made him come out of his shell!!! The safe secure invironment where people slowly and quietly introduce them selfs and there dogs has really helped Oliver learn to socialise, we are regular costumers and spread the word to every one we meet who has dogs ! The cafe can get verry busy at times (because people love it) but with a bit of patience you will be served!

We were in Stockton for a short shopping trip (two humans and an Alaskan Malamute). As it was a warm day we needed a break so popped into Wags & Whiskers Cafe. It’s not our first visit and we are never disappointed. Today we had cold drinks and beautiful cake and our four legged friend had a black pudding sausage and plenty of fresh water. We love the friendly staff and quick service. Thank you.

The owner is only interested in cute dogs... His attitude otherwise is very unpleasant. I won't be going here.

We took two dogs and two humans for lunch ... dogs loved the chews available and we had great panini with salad . The two staff were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful ... we will be back and go to the saltburn one as well

Came in here during a walk with our two Bassett. Place is great and has a nice atmosphere. Staff are very friendly with a good selection of food for both owner and hound. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Went here today the panning and salad were excellent, my wife's salad was excellent and the dog loved the black pudding rolls the staff were very attentive and loved the dog. We parked at the millennium Bridge walked to the cafe and back, if you have a dog it's a treat for you and them.

We brought our cocker spaniel here for her 6th birthday, and what a great place to visit. She loved her doggie afternoon tea as did we our panini. Would definitely recommend the place along with the friendly staff and will be visiting here again soon!

I took my 4 mth old border collie puppy here today as part of her socialisation training and it was fab! She was unsure of the other dogs but after a few treats and a good fuss from the staff she soon settled down and enjoyed it. There was an organised dog walk today and they were returning just as we were leaving, and now I can't wait until she is able to join in and make friends! We'll definitely be back again regularly.

What a lovely clean establishment, every time an owner came in the dog was provided with a fresh bowl of water. I ordered the tuna mayo in white and it was huge with doorstep slices of bread and very tasty. Whilst we were eating a Couple came into order a Birthday Cake for their dog. As we had not taken our dog and had stumbled on it by accident we bought him a Doggie Beer and a Woofin to take home - loved them. Next time we will bring him!!!

Omg where to start! Very small upstairs and due to lovely weather very warm. No space at all for dogs so really need to sit on your knee. Large dog NERY NOISEY! And nowhere to tie dogs. Food very basic had jacket potatoe with chicken n mayo drowned in mayo. Dogs have choice of ALL sweet snacks which dogs turned nose at. Water bowls getting tipped all over due to dogs leads. I would say this is not really a dogs cafe nowhere for dogs to go and quite stressful if owner is to eat also. Will not return prob better as a normal cafe.

Had a lovely spot of lunch here with the dog. A great idea with welcoming friendly staff. Really enjoyed my chicken pannini that was reasonably priced.

I visited the cafe with my husky Max and we loved it! The menu was a reasonable size and priced really fairly, I had a jacket potato and a flat white whilst Max had a woofin and some beer. Over all, the cafe is nicely decorated with friendly staff, and well suited to the target market!

My sister and I took our two dogs here today, using a groupon voucher we got for Christmas. We were really really impressed with the service and the food. Our dogs loved it! The prices are reasonable and the food was so good. What really impressed me was the enthusiasm of the staff, they clearly love animals and it makes you feel really welcome. We will definitely be returning with our pups! Thanks for a great time.

Visited with two dogs .Cafe was spotlessly clean and staff welcoming to both dogs and humans, We had the christmas special panini served with salad followed by cake and tea .Very tasty and value for money .There was also a good choice of food for the dogs as well .They shared a sausage which the staff obligingly cut up and gave them a dish each.Will definitely go again.

Visited Wags & Whiskers with my fiancé for our dogs birthday after wanting to visit for a while. What a great place!! Totally unique and unlike anywhere else I have ever been before! The cafe caters so well for dogs of all types and also does a great menu for humans! I had a jacket potato with pulled pork and my fiancé had a panini. There's so much choice for dogs! We got our dog a 'woofin' which he loved and a special doggy cupcake to take home. The 2 girls who were working were so lovely! Our server Angel got wind it was our dogs birthday and brought his woofin out with a candle and gave him a party hat which we thought was very sweet! There was around 7 or 8 dogs in the cafe but all were well behaved and under control. I will definitely visit again and recommend to friends! Thanks for a lovely day!

Had lunch here today. The restaurant caters for dogs and their owners and is decorated with dog fabric on the chairs and dog footprints spaced out on the floor. There was one dog in the cafe when we arrived and it had its own dog bowls by the table where its owner was sat.

My wife and I took our pooch molly here for a treat as it was our anniversary we were very pleased with the great service we received food was lovely and fresh.we must return with our new pooch ruby as molly has told her all about it ☺

Wags & Whiskers on Finkle Street, provides somewhere nice and warm to visit for a coffee and cake for the doggies as well as the owners. Today, the dogs got the Canagan Shepherd's pie and a home baked woofin to fill their tummies and they ate every last bit.

Nice little restaurant, great service, but the food was not very good at all, and it was over priced. I had the chicken Cesar salad, and it was extremely disappointing. Chicken Cesar salad is Romain Lettuce, red onions, Cesar dressing, croutons, and anchovies ... it doesn't contain tomatoes or several different types of greens. For 4:95 I thought the plate served was insufficient and rather strange ..

Great to have somewhere local to go, where I know my hyperactive pooch will ne welcomed! The menu for dogs and humans is great, although i only had a coffee on this visit. My pooch enjoyed an icecream cookie and chilled water, served to him like he was a VIP. Love it!

Visited here a few times with Molly the Dog and she loves it! I find the concept great. It's quite quirky to be able to take your pet into a cafe...which does a whole page of a menu dedicated to food & drink for your dog!

Visited here after seeing it on Groupon, lovely cafe that is very dog friendly. Our dog is a very fussy eater but enjoyed his shepherds pie meal. Would very much recommend this place for dog owners who want to make a fuss of their animals. It was reasonably priced and we had a great time in the cafe.

We visited this dog friendly café on a Saturday lunchtime. It is pleasantly decorated but there is not a great choice on the menu. I asked for a bacon bun but they had run out of bacon and when I changed my order to a panini, they had none of those either. I felt it was overpriced for what we got. The waitress did not seem to know the menu at all and was disorganized but she may have been new. We won't be going back

This cafe is one of the best I have been to.The first where they not only have a human menu but also a menu for your dog.
