Absolutely packed! and you can tell why - food was great and our server Kayley was attentive, polite and had a great energy despite the rush! Thank you!

It was very busy when we arrived with a small queue of people lining up outside when we arrived. But like magic we were by a table and had the food and drinks arriving shortly after. I am always amazed of how effective yet super friendly the servers are and the food is always amazing.

As always, the food always delivers here with great vegan options. The K-Dogs slap hard with interesting textures and punchy flavours.

10/10 always. My go-to is the duck saku saku soba and chilli squid 🦑

Always loved this restaurant. Unfortunately terrible service, drinks banged on table, no smiles! Salad leaves brown, chicken tough, left really disappointed.

Después de una experiencia maravillosa hace un año estaba deseando ir de nuevo. Nos quedamos muy sorprendidos por el bajo nivel de comida y servicio. Tuvimos que pedir orden después de que nos dejaran mucho tiempo, la orden fue tomada finalmente por un miembro del personal que no se comunicó en absoluto y al entregar bebidas por separado golpeó fuertemente una coca y más tarde un jugo en la mesa. Sentimos que el personal estaba descontento, así como desorganizado, sin comunicación cuando la comida que se entregó. El pollo katsu estaba demasiado cocido y tuvo que dejar un poco. Las hojas de ensalada eran viejas, flácidas y marrones. No nos quejamos a un gerente como uno no apareció cuando pedimos uno tan educadamente dejado, en shock después de pagar! ¡No volveremos!

First time at Wagamama , served by LIN …. Excellent service very helpful and very friendly , give good advice and food as first time ,,,, the food was good but the service by Lin was outstanding and can not thank him enough

Me and my 3 friends came for a meal after not seeing eachother for a long time. The food came out randomly & then our 1 cocktail each, some time later & from the manager Pete. He then came back a while later and told us he needed to see our IDs after we’d already starting drinking our drinks and eating our food. 2 out of 4 of us had ID and I showed him a recent photograph but still refused and took our drinks away in front of other groups of people looking similar ages to us. I left my purse in the car, I completely comply with needing your ID but I assumed having one cocktail each with our meal out for dinner was acceptable as we have been in on multiple occasions and not had this issue once. It ruined our evening meal and caused a scene because not once did he ask any of the other tables seated around us during our meal if they had their IDS also singling us out and we had already started drinking our drinks it was rude. Working in hospitality myself you should always ask for ID before letting a customer order AND drink half of their drink after serving someone. It was just awkward and my table were singled out amongst the whole restaurant. Won’t be coming back.

Cameron was very helpful and polite and our dietary requirements were well catered for. The hot honey teriyaki chicken was incredibly succulent and the bao buns and gyozas top notch aswell. Overall speedy and fantastic experience.

Super friendly team and the yummy food you would expect from Wagamama.

Gran lugar dentro del Mall Cribbs Causeway y siempre está ocupado. Siempre he encontrado con esta cadena la comida es muy buena al igual que el servicio. Se ocupan con las colas afuera, pero esto es en general solo alrededor de 10 minutos de espera durante los momentos de mucho trabajo. Buena relación calidad-precio y servicio

Honestamente bastante decepcionado con la comida. Tenía el calamar chile y estaba frío, gomoso y para ser honesto, bastante sombrío! El servicio fue mediocre, con parte del personal siendo grosero. Un servidor grosero que se destacó fue Zahra, ella fue poco servicial y francamente no cumplió con mis expectativas! La única parte positiva de mi experiencia fue Lyn, él era alegre, un chico encantador para hablar, y siempre ayudaba cuando era necesario. Si Lyn no estuviera allí, me habría disgustado el servicio en su conjunto, pero por suerte él era el diamante en bruto. Tasación a Lyn, y vergüenza al resto del personal grosero e inútil.

Siempre ocupado pero no masificado cuando visito y así que una buena apuesta para comer. Escondido arriba en el laberinto que es Cabot Circus en el 3er o 4to piso bien vale la pena la caminata. Golosinas típicas de Wagamama, deliciosos calamares con chile, pad Thai y algunas verduras verdes muy agradables - muy importante. Un buen batido fresco también. Recomendado.

I used to come all the time, I was known to the staff and enjoyed a free side or dessert occasionally. Staff turnover has been high for more than a year now. Apparently due to a problem with corporate. The quality of the food has gone downhill too the Wok fried greens used to be a glazed burst of flavour, now they are a soy sauce watery mess, it's just not the same anymore I've swapped to dragons Delicacy by ikea

You always know what you're getting at wagama: quick service, friendly staff, good food and portions. Lots of vegan options. All a bit on the salty side for my tastes but nothing like a bit of wagama comfort food from time to time

I do enjoy eating at Wagamama quite a lot, so was delighted to find that there is one in Bristol. We had a great lunch, as always the food was delicious and fresh.

We are very regular customers of this restaurant and numerous branches whenever we travel but this is our local , and usually the service and food is excellent , but today was a very bad experience , we queued up waiting for 15 mins before the manageress came to greet this is OK , However we were shown to the table and told our server would be "Peter" he was there just walking around. , before ppl started asking him to close the bill he did this to 2 others while sitting down and completely ignored us , he knew we were there cos he kept looking at us , meanwhile we could see customers seated after us in the queue was getting their orders been taken by servers responsible for them. Never has been treated like this before first time we've seen this server"Peter" We walked out after waiting and ignored for 20 mins. Writing this from nanados where we were seated and served almost immediately , and it's full in here. Bad experience

Enjoyable meal to celebrate a birthday. Took a while to order drinks but then the service was faultless. Food was tasty and accommodated our varied tastes. Flora was really friendly and helpful which helped to make this a lovely experience.

For a chain restaurant has to be one of my favourite. The one at cribbs is nice and popular so get there early or your have a wait. The food is good and to a level of a chain.

Food was ok, as to be expected from a chain. What let the place down was the service, which was exceptionally slow and disorganised. Mains came 10 minutes before the drinks even though i had asked for them twice. Was made to queue outside even though half the tables were empty. There were plenty of waiters around, almost one per table.

We eat wags on the regs, this place has the best food we’ve had at a wags. The squid was juicy and tender. The wok fried greens were coated nicely. Definitely recommend a visit.

1st time in a Wagamama's , not that busy , was seated by a staff member , tall lad blond hair and explained how it all worked..got us some drinks and then few mins later Kayleigh came and took our order...very friendly and polite , food came sortly after and was very tasty and fresh..good value and a different experience than our usual lunches...well done!

Food's great. But the front of house service is just rubbish. Waited almost 10 minutes at the entrance, staff looking over but not acknowledging us, only to then be told "we're shut". Despite the opening times sign clearly stating they should've been open. Very poor. Update: Just had the best service from the staff in a chain restaurant ever. All is forgiven from my last review. They turned it around.

Clean and relaxing environment. We ordered Pad Tai, and staff Lin (very friendly) recommended the spicy flavor, which is nice.

Went on Monday for some lunch. Had some great service from Alina and Lin who were informative and welcoming. Good recommendations on the broth from Lin too!

Was sat down and served by Alina, who was absolutely lovely and was really helpful. Later on as we ate, i believe she went on break and a different waitress Htar came up to us and asked how everything was. Again, she was kind and helpful and really left a good impression. Would happily come back here again for the staff alone!

This place is ALWAYS busy regardless of what day you go in but we do like a wagamamas and we were eager to try their new menu. Even though it was busy, the line to get a table was very quick which we appreciated. The new menu really surprised us and it’s something we really enjoyed eating. The starters blew us away and it’s something we’ll continue to get :)

Estábamos ya cansados de la comida típica de los pubs, y un amigo nos recomendó este restaurante japonés. Y la verdad es que nos encantó. Compartimos unos baos de ternera y unas gyozas, y de principal yo tomé el yaki udon. Todo delicioso, y los principales muy contundentes. Con una ronda de cervezas salimos a unas 28 libras por persona, bastante razonable.

Food is great, though, if you order 2 or more meals, one person could've finished eating before the other even got theirs. Also, servers could offer more drinks once meals have arrived, and maybe be a bit more vigilant when someone tries to get their attention, rather than look through them

The food was okay. Apart from becoming ill from it ! We arrived late 8:45 and they was due to close, but did accommodate which was nice.

The food was nice but unfortunately the staff were so miserable they made me want to leave. The room/restaurant was really hot and stuffy too which isn’t very nice when you’re trying to relax and enjoy your food. Didn’t even get a thank you either by the girl who took our bill, our bill came to £64 too!. Big shame as iv always had a good experience with wagamama’s! Save to say i will not be returning!

Food nothing special, pretty tasteless, awful servis,gap between meals is rude and I haven't experienced this anywhere around the world , so definitely we won't go back

Never usually leave reviews for restaurants but just had a really rubbish experience at Cribbs Causeway which is very sad as it is my son’s birthday and his choice for a meal. Had an awful pad Thai which I had to drown in soy sauce to give it any flavour. In hindsight I think I should have sent it back. Husbands food was ok as was my sons. What really let it down was the awful service. Asked a waitress for some water on two different occasions which she said she’d get then went off and actively did other things. A guy sat on the table next to us left before ordering any food. The only reason I’m giving it one star is for the waitress who showed us to our table. So disappointing. Will not go back to this one again.

Nice place to eat. Our friendly server Milla was very helpful, polite and very pleasant. Food was really good. We like to try different things each time we go to a Wagamamas. This time we had crispy duck soba which was full of flavour and nice and hot. Desert was really good. We had the dough balls with coconut ice cream and the chocolate cake with caramel centre, both were delicious

Worst food we had in Bristol, ordered fried rice for my kids, they spit it out, even though they were very hungry, spoke with one of the staff about it she suggested that we try something different next time…

Brilliant meals today we had katsu salad and chicken and ginger soba. We were served by the lovely Beata and Nicolas. They are both very professional and a credit to Wagama.

Regular go to restaurant but our early dinner was way off mark, late afternoon restaurant was quiet, service ok, food was a big let down, Bang band cauliflower - no chilli sauce or caramelised onion, just a bowl of cauliflower bits, chicken ramon so bland, broth thin and watery, no coriander or lime or anything just a mass of pea shoots clumped in a pile, complained to the staff member was offered to prepare another bowl but o had gone off if at this point. Had an upset stomach later on won’t return again.

The food is good. The waiter told us the meals may be served at different times as "it's cooked fresh". Three meals were served within around 5 minutes of each other. The fourth person in our group had to sit and wait and wait ... We had to start our meals and had finished before his arrived around 20 minutes later, despite the waiter going to chase it up for us. This really spoils the dining experience. A couple at the next table had the same issue - one had finished before the other's meal arrived. Really not an enjoyable way to eat out together. The place wasn't even full. Wouldn't go back.

Gave it another go and sadly, I regret it. Veggie ramen was nothing but spicy water with some noodles and hardly any veg in it. Long wait for the food as well. Overpriced & below average.

I ordered the meat at this restaurant and it took 50 minutes for it to be served to me after I sat down. The meat was raw, tough and overall the dish lacked flavor.

This Wagamama is on a 1st floor of cribbs causeway mall. There are only two proper restaurants in the mall so expect little waiting at meal time. The menu is exactly same as all other Wagamama so the seatings too. Fix seats which can't be move is not much appreciated, but food and servings are good. The serving was really quick.

Arrived for an early easy dinner on a Monday night. Restaurant wasn’t busy by any stretch but had a few tables in. Got sat down promptly. Table surface seemed clean, under the table was dirty cutlery and pieces of paper. Order took longer then usual to be taken so order food and drink at the same time. Our side arrived before our drinks which were only water and then the remaining food arrived fairly soon after. One meal was fantastic, the other had extremely dry overcooked chicken which made it unpleasant to eat. No check back to see if the food was okay. Finished our food and payed quickly

Good service, we were sited as soon as we arrived. it took some time until our order was taken. 30 minutes until the first nibble came. the mains came a while after. the eggs were more than done (we know from experience that they should be runny). the steak was very hard. the kids plates were watery on the bottom (vegetables not drained properly)...they didn't want to finish their food for the first time. we had to ask for the last main as everyone was already finished when the last one arrived. the shiradashi noodles were very overcook. we understand is busy but the food wasn't to the normal standards as we are used to. maybe next time...

All seemed well...2 mouthfuls of katsu chicken in...raw chicken. First 2 were fine as they were the end of the breast but all the rest had bits of raw chicken within the piece. I immediately got a staff members attention and asked for it to be replaced as the chicken was raw, his response was "ok" and swept the plate away. 15 mins later (my sister having nearly finished her meal) and I noticed a couple of tables were waiting for 1 or 2 meals...turns out they were all waiting for katsu chicken which makes me think my meal prompted them to check everyone's. Anyway, got my new meal and understandly wasn't overly keen and picked at it (checking every mouthful). 4 members of staff were aware I'd been served raw chicken...not 1 apology. And nothing was done until I said when I went to pay "please remove the katsu dish off the bill as I'm not paying for it". Which they did. But to not even get an apology makes me think its probably happening a lot. Anyway, shan't be returning to a wagamama or eating chicken for a while.

Took my daughters to Cribbs, we were turned away because they were carrying drinks from another shop. Whatever my daughters ate didn't pass as food for me. May be is the age thing.

We love Wagamama, we love Japanese food Amazing customer service from the moment we walked in! Very helpful staff, especially ‘’Gunna’’ helped me to find what I was looking for. It's not only the food that turns up when it's ready, it the staff that turn up on their terms too! We Waited over 20 minutes to get seated and it took a further 15 minutes before we didn't get served and walked out. very disappointed normally love their food.

Just back from Cribbs. Very poor meal. Luke warm food served on stone cold plates. The tofu was not firm watery in fact. Service slow and pretty poor and unacceptable for a meal costing £90 for 3 people. We didn't bother to order desserts as couldn't get main course plates cleared. Customer next to us sent her main back as cold. Looking at other mains being served meagre portions of chicken, prawns and alike. Toilet filthy clearly not been cleaned all day. Very poor dining out experience we won't be going again.

Poor customer service, food never arrived. I asked to speak to the manager, I had to promt her to make an apology, I felt she couldn't care less, not a great representative of Wagamama.

I ordered my sides at the start and they came out after we’ve eaten our main meal, this isn’t the first time this has happened, Wagamama sort yourselves out.

Really nice place be aware though that food all ordered by the same table comes at different times. So my companion had basically finished her food before mine arrived. This is how it works though so not a complaint. The food was lovely service was nice all in all enjoyed it

Ordered takeaway. The food was tasty but not value for money. Ordered starter of chilli squid. Five pieces only. For £8.50, rip off. Ordered extra prawns for Firecracker prawns, only 5 in the dish. Rip off. Katsu chicken had one spoon of sauce, so dish very dry. I've given two stars purely for the fact that delivery time was good and food (primarily starters) was tasty, but that's not enough to want to order takeaway or even dine in again. Ordered 5 starters which was just as well because the mains were very disappointing. £70 I'll never spend there again.

Wagamamas is always a good place for relaxed interesting Japanese food. Served simply and quirkily sequenced but worth the wait or not! The food is always tasty, flavourful and filing. The drinks are varied and different, depends on how adventurous you're feeling.

Average. Best way to describe our experience. Service was originally fairly prompt. Food took a little longer than normal but nothing too major. Received one meal and within the first mouth full had something that was rock solid, too hard to bite or would have chipped a tooth. Anyway carried on and between us agreed to mention it to a staff member when the next plate was delivered. Staff member said they’d find out from the kitchen and come back, came back to tell us it was a piece of crispy onion to which we said it most definitely was not it wasn’t slightly hard it was like a stone. He maintained insistently it was crispy onion and we just at that point wanted to finish and get out. No food check back other than the explained problem above but nobody checking the rest was ok. We noticed the people on our row also had some sort of problem to which seemed to be resolved absolutely fine however then noticed an individual dinner to our other side was friends with a staff member and at a glance could notice the staff member had written “f.ck” on her table place mat. Food was averagely okay not as much protein as we usually find but nothing to really say. Quickly paid via the QR code and got ourselves out

We were kept waiting a long time to be shown to a table and then even longer to place our order. We were then kept waiting half an hour for the food to arrive and even then one of the dishes was not what we ordered and had to be replaced. My wife and I both had chicken hotpot but it was far from piping hot (lukewarm) and was so overspiced it was not possible to taste the food. It was also very expensive for what it was, the seats were hard and backless wooden benches which were very uncomfortable, and the atmosphere was lacking. This was our first time at the restaurant and we certainly will not go again.

We waited for the lunch rush to be over, and were escorted to the table straight away. Service was quick to take drinks order and offer order of food too. Waiter obviously had a bad shift as arguing with a waitress and had said he hadn’t had a break (presume as it was so busy). Asked for no prawn on pad Thai and came out with it plus one meal missing. Not many staff to get attention. However, food was absolutely delicious and I would recommend as good quality, and staff doing their best on a difficult day. Just shame our meals were not together and the atmosphere wasn’t a little better than arguing staff.

Great food, lacking staff, long queues

Always love going to Wagamamas. Food is always fantastic, one of my favourite dishes are the pork bao buns. Tried the Shiok chicken and have to say it is now my favourite over Katsu chicken.

Great food, they refresh the menu often. We got served by Rebecca, very polite and friendly, kept us updated on our food.

Servers are nice. Food taste like raw onion and soap. Maybe didn't wash ingredients properly. All the food came at random times. Like I said, servers are nice.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. My son didn't like one of the choices of food he made so they changed it for what he usually has.

I went there with friends for dinner around 2.30 last Friday. We ordered fried noodles like usually, but a friend of mine had to wait for long for a yaki soba noodle. A manager named Fabio came to apologise and said because kitchen was missing. He then turned to the kitchen which was opposite our table for that to ask to make it asap. But when I saw our food there, a staff took it away to send to somewhere. Then, I started to frustrating about it and ask to see the manager again, what happened. To my surprise, the manager Fabio came back and shouted a lady in a kitchen with very angry voice. My friends and I just felt very embarassed and guilty to witness it. The manager was too rude, I really don’t think people in this restaurant behave like this. I never visit this site again. I don’t want to spend my money there to get my food very late and see people treated badby because of us.
