Clean and relaxing environment. We ordered Pad Tai, and staff Lin (very friendly) recommended the spicy flavor, which is nice.

Went on Monday for some lunch. Had some great service from Alina and Lin who were informative and welcoming. Good recommendations on the broth from Lin too!

Was sat down and served by Alina, who was absolutely lovely and was really helpful. Later on as we ate, i believe she went on break and a different waitress Htar came up to us and asked how everything was. Again, she was kind and helpful and really left a good impression. Would happily come back here again for the staff alone!

This place is ALWAYS busy regardless of what day you go in but we do like a wagamamas and we were eager to try their new menu. Even though it was busy, the line to get a table was very quick which we appreciated. The new menu really surprised us and it’s something we really enjoyed eating. The starters blew us away and it’s something we’ll continue to get :)

Estábamos ya cansados de la comida típica de los pubs, y un amigo nos recomendó este restaurante japonés. Y la verdad es que nos encantó. Compartimos unos baos de ternera y unas gyozas, y de principal yo tomé el yaki udon. Todo delicioso, y los principales muy contundentes. Con una ronda de cervezas salimos a unas 28 libras por persona, bastante razonable.

Nanelah was an incredible server - she had a great attitude and was very nice to us, she made the Wagamama experience worth it - we love you nanelah 🫶🏼

Food is great, though, if you order 2 or more meals, one person could've finished eating before the other even got theirs. Also, servers could offer more drinks once meals have arrived, and maybe be a bit more vigilant when someone tries to get their attention, rather than look through them

The food was okay. Apart from becoming ill from it ! We arrived late 8:45 and they was due to close, but did accommodate which was nice.

Had a lovely lunch with friends here. Morgan sat us and took our order and was absolutely lovely, was also very patient when we couldn't decide what to order. Perry was also great and super friendly when checking up on us during our meal. Thank you for a lovely day!

The food was nice but unfortunately the staff were so miserable they made me want to leave. The room/restaurant was really hot and stuffy too which isn’t very nice when you’re trying to relax and enjoy your food. Didn’t even get a thank you either by the girl who took our bill, our bill came to £64 too!. Big shame as iv always had a good experience with wagamama’s! Save to say i will not be returning!

Food nothing special, pretty tasteless, awful servis,gap between meals is rude and I haven't experienced this anywhere around the world , so definitely we won't go back

Never usually leave reviews for restaurants but just had a really rubbish experience at Cribbs Causeway which is very sad as it is my son’s birthday and his choice for a meal. Had an awful pad Thai which I had to drown in soy sauce to give it any flavour. In hindsight I think I should have sent it back. Husbands food was ok as was my sons. What really let it down was the awful service. Asked a waitress for some water on two different occasions which she said she’d get then went off and actively did other things. A guy sat on the table next to us left before ordering any food. The only reason I’m giving it one star is for the waitress who showed us to our table. So disappointing. Will not go back to this one again.

Nice place to eat. Our friendly server Milla was very helpful, polite and very pleasant. Food was really good. We like to try different things each time we go to a Wagamamas. This time we had crispy duck soba which was full of flavour and nice and hot. Desert was really good. We had the dough balls with coconut ice cream and the chocolate cake with caramel centre, both were delicious

Worst food we had in Bristol, ordered fried rice for my kids, they spit it out, even though they were very hungry, spoke with one of the staff about it she suggested that we try something different next time…

Brilliant meals today we had katsu salad and chicken and ginger soba. We were served by the lovely Beata and Nicolas. They are both very professional and a credit to Wagama.

Regular go to restaurant but our early dinner was way off mark, late afternoon restaurant was quiet, service ok, food was a big let down, Bang band cauliflower - no chilli sauce or caramelised onion, just a bowl of cauliflower bits, chicken ramon so bland, broth thin and watery, no coriander or lime or anything just a mass of pea shoots clumped in a pile, complained to the staff member was offered to prepare another bowl but o had gone off if at this point. Had an upset stomach later on won’t return again.

The food is good. The waiter told us the meals may be served at different times as "it's cooked fresh". Three meals were served within around 5 minutes of each other. The fourth person in our group had to sit and wait and wait ... We had to start our meals and had finished before his arrived around 20 minutes later, despite the waiter going to chase it up for us. This really spoils the dining experience. A couple at the next table had the same issue - one had finished before the other's meal arrived. Really not an enjoyable way to eat out together. The place wasn't even full. Wouldn't go back.

Gave it another go and sadly, I regret it. Veggie ramen was nothing but spicy water with some noodles and hardly any veg in it. Long wait for the food as well. Overpriced & below average.

I ordered the meat at this restaurant and it took 50 minutes for it to be served to me after I sat down. The meat was raw, tough and overall the dish lacked flavor.

This Wagamama is on a 1st floor of cribbs causeway mall. There are only two proper restaurants in the mall so expect little waiting at meal time. The menu is exactly same as all other Wagamama so the seatings too. Fix seats which can't be move is not much appreciated, but food and servings are good. The serving was really quick.

Arrived for an early easy dinner on a Monday night. Restaurant wasn’t busy by any stretch but had a few tables in. Got sat down promptly. Table surface seemed clean, under the table was dirty cutlery and pieces of paper. Order took longer then usual to be taken so order food and drink at the same time. Our side arrived before our drinks which were only water and then the remaining food arrived fairly soon after. One meal was fantastic, the other had extremely dry overcooked chicken which made it unpleasant to eat. No check back to see if the food was okay. Finished our food and payed quickly

Good service, we were sited as soon as we arrived. it took some time until our order was taken. 30 minutes until the first nibble came. the mains came a while after. the eggs were more than done (we know from experience that they should be runny). the steak was very hard. the kids plates were watery on the bottom (vegetables not drained properly)...they didn't want to finish their food for the first time. we had to ask for the last main as everyone was already finished when the last one arrived. the shiradashi noodles were very overcook. we understand is busy but the food wasn't to the normal standards as we are used to. maybe next time...

All seemed well...2 mouthfuls of katsu chicken in...raw chicken. First 2 were fine as they were the end of the breast but all the rest had bits of raw chicken within the piece. I immediately got a staff members attention and asked for it to be replaced as the chicken was raw, his response was "ok" and swept the plate away. 15 mins later (my sister having nearly finished her meal) and I noticed a couple of tables were waiting for 1 or 2 meals...turns out they were all waiting for katsu chicken which makes me think my meal prompted them to check everyone's. Anyway, got my new meal and understandly wasn't overly keen and picked at it (checking every mouthful). 4 members of staff were aware I'd been served raw chicken...not 1 apology. And nothing was done until I said when I went to pay "please remove the katsu dish off the bill as I'm not paying for it". Which they did. But to not even get an apology makes me think its probably happening a lot. Anyway, shan't be returning to a wagamama or eating chicken for a while.

Took my daughters to Cribbs, we were turned away because they were carrying drinks from another shop. Whatever my daughters ate didn't pass as food for me. May be is the age thing.

We love Wagamama, we love Japanese food Amazing customer service from the moment we walked in! Very helpful staff, especially ‘’Gunna’’ helped me to find what I was looking for. It's not only the food that turns up when it's ready, it the staff that turn up on their terms too! We Waited over 20 minutes to get seated and it took a further 15 minutes before we didn't get served and walked out. very disappointed normally love their food.

Just back from Cribbs. Very poor meal. Luke warm food served on stone cold plates. The tofu was not firm watery in fact. Service slow and pretty poor and unacceptable for a meal costing £90 for 3 people. We didn't bother to order desserts as couldn't get main course plates cleared. Customer next to us sent her main back as cold. Looking at other mains being served meagre portions of chicken, prawns and alike. Toilet filthy clearly not been cleaned all day. Very poor dining out experience we won't be going again.

Poor customer service, food never arrived. I asked to speak to the manager, I had to promt her to make an apology, I felt she couldn't care less, not a great representative of Wagamama.

I ordered my sides at the start and they came out after we’ve eaten our main meal, this isn’t the first time this has happened, Wagamama sort yourselves out.

Really nice place be aware though that food all ordered by the same table comes at different times. So my companion had basically finished her food before mine arrived. This is how it works though so not a complaint. The food was lovely service was nice all in all enjoyed it

Ordered takeaway. The food was tasty but not value for money. Ordered starter of chilli squid. Five pieces only. For £8.50, rip off. Ordered extra prawns for Firecracker prawns, only 5 in the dish. Rip off. Katsu chicken had one spoon of sauce, so dish very dry. I've given two stars purely for the fact that delivery time was good and food (primarily starters) was tasty, but that's not enough to want to order takeaway or even dine in again. Ordered 5 starters which was just as well because the mains were very disappointing. £70 I'll never spend there again.

Wagamamas is always a good place for relaxed interesting Japanese food. Served simply and quirkily sequenced but worth the wait or not! The food is always tasty, flavourful and filing. The drinks are varied and different, depends on how adventurous you're feeling.

Average. Best way to describe our experience. Service was originally fairly prompt. Food took a little longer than normal but nothing too major. Received one meal and within the first mouth full had something that was rock solid, too hard to bite or would have chipped a tooth. Anyway carried on and between us agreed to mention it to a staff member when the next plate was delivered. Staff member said they’d find out from the kitchen and come back, came back to tell us it was a piece of crispy onion to which we said it most definitely was not it wasn’t slightly hard it was like a stone. He maintained insistently it was crispy onion and we just at that point wanted to finish and get out. No food check back other than the explained problem above but nobody checking the rest was ok. We noticed the people on our row also had some sort of problem to which seemed to be resolved absolutely fine however then noticed an individual dinner to our other side was friends with a staff member and at a glance could notice the staff member had written “f.ck” on her table place mat. Food was averagely okay not as much protein as we usually find but nothing to really say. Quickly paid via the QR code and got ourselves out

We were kept waiting a long time to be shown to a table and then even longer to place our order. We were then kept waiting half an hour for the food to arrive and even then one of the dishes was not what we ordered and had to be replaced. My wife and I both had chicken hotpot but it was far from piping hot (lukewarm) and was so overspiced it was not possible to taste the food. It was also very expensive for what it was, the seats were hard and backless wooden benches which were very uncomfortable, and the atmosphere was lacking. This was our first time at the restaurant and we certainly will not go again.

We waited for the lunch rush to be over, and were escorted to the table straight away. Service was quick to take drinks order and offer order of food too. Waiter obviously had a bad shift as arguing with a waitress and had said he hadn’t had a break (presume as it was so busy). Asked for no prawn on pad Thai and came out with it plus one meal missing. Not many staff to get attention. However, food was absolutely delicious and I would recommend as good quality, and staff doing their best on a difficult day. Just shame our meals were not together and the atmosphere wasn’t a little better than arguing staff.

Great food, lacking staff, long queues

Always love going to Wagamamas. Food is always fantastic, one of my favourite dishes are the pork bao buns. Tried the Shiok chicken and have to say it is now my favourite over Katsu chicken.

Great food, they refresh the menu often. We got served by Rebecca, very polite and friendly, kept us updated on our food.

Servers are nice. Food taste like raw onion and soap. Maybe didn't wash ingredients properly. All the food came at random times. Like I said, servers are nice.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. My son didn't like one of the choices of food he made so they changed it for what he usually has.

I went there with friends for dinner around 2.30 last Friday. We ordered fried noodles like usually, but a friend of mine had to wait for long for a yaki soba noodle. A manager named Fabio came to apologise and said because kitchen was missing. He then turned to the kitchen which was opposite our table for that to ask to make it asap. But when I saw our food there, a staff took it away to send to somewhere. Then, I started to frustrating about it and ask to see the manager again, what happened. To my surprise, the manager Fabio came back and shouted a lady in a kitchen with very angry voice. My friends and I just felt very embarassed and guilty to witness it. The manager was too rude, I really don’t think people in this restaurant behave like this. I never visit this site again. I don’t want to spend my money there to get my food very late and see people treated badby because of us.

As long as you don't want to eat your meal at the same time as anyone in your group this is the place for you. One of our group had finished before the final persons meal arrived. Also had to remind them to bring drinks.

Never been before staff friendly nice food good service would go again

We have been several times before the enlargement of the restaurant and had a fad time on every visit. Sadly, on our first visit since the revamp, it all went horribly wrong. Left waiting along time tor service, order took for ages to come even though we had our 4yo grandaughter with us and had explicitly ordered hers first, it didn't turn up until two if the three adult main meals had been served!! One unhappy child! When the adult meals turned up, they were not all as ordered & some side orderers were burnt! Yes, the serving staff did their best to rectify the situation, and well done for that, but sadly, the whole event means that we won't be coming back anytime soon.

This is our 2nd visit and we have enjoyed our meals again. There was a long queue to get it, but it moved quickly and the staff were handing out menus to people in the queue to get a head start on the ordering process. The restaurant was packed and our food took a little long to arrive than the previous time, but wait was not too long. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and everything seemed to run smoothly. We would definitely visit again.

Service was poor - there were more than 20 minutes gap before my order was served, I was served last. The duty manager, I thought she was offered me free drinks but I didn’t accept and she said she’d do something. Never came back after. Food - Chilli squid sliced too big, Ramen was served late and already overcooked as it appeared it was ready at the counter but was not served in time. They are not that busy by the way as lots of tables were empty. Value - 3 out of 5 Atmosphere- nothing special. You need to get staff attention as they don’t check what you need. That’s why I waited for my meal more than 15 minutes whilst my friends are already eating.

Considering the queues that often form for entry to this restaurant, one would expect it to be a very high grade estblishment. Instead, it is crowded, with the tables much too close together. Bench seating which is fine, but not conducive to a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly enough, but there was a sense of them being too rushed to give attention to customers. The food was well prepared and hot on arrival. However, the restaurant has a policy of presenting the meals to customers as and when it is ready. The claim is that this means that the customer gets freshly prepared food that has not been sitting on the pass for any length of time. However, the result is that each member of the party will have their food delivered at different times. As a result, either you have to delay eating until everyone has their meal, resulting in cold food, or you eat your meal on your own and your friends and family watch you while they wait for their food. During our visit, my meal arrived after a fairly lengthy delay. To ensure that I ate hot food, I hd to start eating. Then one of the children had his food delivered when I was half way through mine. Finally, as I was finishing my meal, and the boy was half way through his, the other meal was delivered. This policy is not very user friendly. I have had takeaways from this chain of restaurant, in the past, and had no complaints. Therefore, I was looking forward to sitting down to enjoy a meal. Following this experience, however, I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

I ordered a takeaway last Saturday night and accidentally ordered from Cabot Circus. When I turned up at Cribbs Causeway they were really accommodating. They called Cabot Circus, got the order refunded and then remade my order at Cribbs. They even gave me a green tea while I waited! Really impressed since it was my mistake.

We were offered the beef soba as a free meal to try and it was very delicious, the beef was cooked very well and wasn’t chewy at all. We were served by Ruby who was very helpful and made us feel very welcome even with our little one who was very active :))

I have just changed my old 5 Star review with one star, today we went again here and this coloured couple was sitting next to us, they ordered meal and vegan hot dog. They was already eating mains when we arrived , They finished their meal , our starter and main was served . And this couple was still waiting for those Dogs. They asked about 6 staff, nothing happened , now it is about 30-35 minutes after finishing their main meal, they are still waiting for those vegan dogs , manager came and said sorry and they said 2 more minutes , as they are in fryer , 10-15 minutes later nothing arrived , it was so frustrating for us to see how they were ignored , and I strongly believed , they were coloured that’s why nobody heard them and they all ignored them . Finally my white partner got up went to desk and spoke to a staff , it was so frustrating and humiliating we could not eat and returned our meal . They did not charge us anything , but it was not about money , it was so sad to witness it. It is disgusting and unacceptable. I will write to wagamama as well. If anyone coloured person feel the same in this place or anywhere, who is reading this review , just stand up and speak for yourself . I love wagamama , though will avoid this one for future.

Normally, I love Wagamamas however, this branch.. not so much. Service was awful. We were seated for ages before an order being taken, we sat with dirty plates for a good 20 minutes, when they did come, were weren't offered to have anything else, and actively had to track down a staff member to have our bill paid. It hasn't put me off the restaurant, just this one.

My daughter and I would like to express all our gratitude and appreciation for Beata who we believe was the restaurant manager on the evening of September 29th, when we had our meal. We are habitual customers of wagamama restaurants, we love the food and atmosphere there and have been to the one in Cribbs Causeway several times. However, an evening that could have ended up in disaster due to unacceptable waiting times between our main meals (over 45 minutes apart) and random staff service, was then eventually saved by Beata's professional and especially caring human nature. Restaurants (and society in general) should have more dedicated and kind individuals like her. A true asset to the company, but more importantly, a truly nice person. Thank you again Beata for your incredible kindness and understanding in dealing with us, we will certainly give Wagamama Cribbs Causeway another shot thanks to you. The 5 stars are all for you.

Noodle is too soft which is like to eat the flour. The soup is not hot. Overall is bad.

Had a great meal out at this Wagamama our waiter Calum Mac was particularly amazing he was super friendly, quick and really put in the extra effort in and he really made our day!!

The food as always was superb. The chap who took our order was very pleasant and by far the best. I had the Pad Thai which was delicious. The glass we were given for water wasn’t clean. We asked for another glass & they brought a new one back with tap water. That got sorted too after we complained. However, there is one big problem at Wagamama in Cribbs after they did recent work on the restaurant. There is a huge expanse of floor to ceiling glass (probably 15-20 metres high) at the far end. We went in at 5.30 and the sun is glaring and is right on you. People are moving round the restaurant trying to sit somewhere out of the sun. Everyone is sitting as close to the front of the restaurant as possible. Blinds or some other solution is desperately needed as it’s too bright and uncomfortably hot. When the sun moves round I suspect it’s somewhat better. The area manager needs to sort that out.

Went for a quick bite with my son who was super tired. But kornilia who sat us down was super sweet and patience with us. She kept my son engaged and was very polite. Amazing service.

Really great meal, not sure why Wagamamas seem to consistently bring the adult food out before the kids food but other than that fantastic!
