Website and google say restaurant is open. Ordered online, payment taken. Waited for a while. No answer. Rang 3 times. Closed. What a waste.

Didn't eat in we collect. So cant rate atmosphere. But food was delicious as always and service was excellent.

Absolute Garbidge thought I just have something mild.for a change chicken tika and it was Absolutely tasteless could made better myself with eyes closed And garlic nan was solid and burnt defo last nights tackle avoid this place

Gone for the veg options and didn't experiment much. Veg rice, daal and spinach paneer was really good. Ambience is nice. Service can be better with a smile at least. The host told me that they deliver to the hotel for tourists but once ordered they didn't have throwable plates or cutlery to offer, small issue it was.

I've been going back regularly for years, always good food and friendly service. Just be aware you need cash if you're collecting.

Absolutely shocking. This is a shambles for a indian resturant an absolute gimic avoid avoid avoid very rude customer service when asked who I was talking to I was told I was talking to my dad the food is terrible and they do not know what on earth they are doing. Please avoid this place it's absolutely disgusting

Just ordered from here this evening and the food was outstanding!! I had garlic chilli chicken curry and it’s the best I’ve had in ages and my son had butter chicken curry which he loved. The garlic naan was fresh and tasty and delivery was fast for a Saturday evening. Will definately be ordering my Indian take Away’s from here from now on

Pretty awful. Such a shame, as we wanted to try somewhere more local. Pakora were the worst (photo - chewy). The poppadoms were OK. The mango chutney was bad. Sadly, will not be back.

Working down this way- called in for 2 x chicken karahi- onion baji - nan bread - rice. The curry was way too hot-chicken not cooked in sauce just added so really dry and bit tough. Naan bread bit burnt and not big really for the price. Visit lots of takeaways and this is poor if I'm totally honest-only tried the dishes above so cannot comment on others but poor in my personal view

Ordered few dishes. Most of them were good. Only downside was the Biryani. It was more like a fried rice rather than biryani.

Food is fairly consistent, portions can vary, but always tastes great! Strange that it is cheaper to order on Just Eat than their app, losing out there

Ordered Takeaway,food was barely warm on arrival (restaurant is 2 mins drive away) Pakoras-soggy Peshawari Naan - Rubbery,tough,taste was OK Tarka Daal-Decent Bombay Aloo-Cold and completely bland Garlic Chili Chicken-4 pieces of chicken..was OK Pilau Rice - Cold Cheap enough,didn't kill me..wouldnt order again though

Never ordered from here before. On holiday and ordered here on our first day. Not happy at all really........my partner ordered the "Tanga" and in no way on the menu did it say sweet? The meal was so sweet it was sickly....not good at all?!!!! Also said medium heat???? Far far from that......mild is the right rating........I ordered the rogan Josh and although not sweet, I found it bland and very very mild??? Just thought I'd post this to make other people who have never ordered aware. Sorry for saying this but it is the truth.....not good and we will not be ordering when we are down this way again!

Was served raw chicken in a korma last night, I had two pieces and knew something wasn’t right, cut into the pieces and saw that they were bright pink/red. I was sick last night and the owner just simply said I’d paid and there was nothing he could do about it. I Hope they use my money to invest in some probing devices.

If I could post 0 stars I would. I had awful service tonight. We ordered 2 separate curries, both with rice. It arrived and 1 curry was wrong, and on the other the rice was wrong. When we rang up to rectify the problem and the man was far from helpful. Telling us not only it must have been our mistake over the phone but, we should carry on and eat the wrong curry as it was ' still chicken anyway'. He eventually offered us half a replacement that we'd have to go and pick ourselves and absolutely refused any kind of refund. Very disappointed, they have lost two valauble customers that spend well. Or used to.

We had booked a nearby Persian restaurant but they had closed. Went to Akash instead and had a very pleasant and reasonably priced evening. No alcohol licence but was directed to nearby Off Licence and bought a very acceptable red wine for £7:99p. Food was well cooked and presented and was of very good quality. One member of the foursome is Vegetarian and was complimentary of the choice of food available. Would be more than happy to revisit.

Unfortunately the food has really gone down hill at this place. Now there's hardly any meat in dishes nor vegetables in the vegetarian dishes. Just so much sugar in the pasanda it makes your teeth hurt and the prawn puri is simply drowned in sauce. Really hope they make efforts to improve.

Me and my friends decided to have some indian foods . On our way saw Akash restaurant and we just said give it a try . I can admits it was 5he best chicken Tikka Biriany ever with nice kima Nan . I really Enjoyed it and other friends like the food too . I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was very good and waiter who I believe was the owner very attentive but not disturbing. We had a nice evening definitely would go back again . Compliments to chefs

We're trying new Indians around the area came across this one. The food was ok wasn't the greatest of quality don't think we will return to this place when we were there primetime saturday night there was nobody in the restaurant. There is no parking for this restaurant you have to find spots on the street outside which can be difficult

We called to order last night and had to go and pick it up myself as he told me it would be a very very long wait if I wanted it delivered. We were told we would get free poppadoms, I don't think 1 free poppadum counts for going to collect it. if you are a takeaway offering delivery I don't expect to be guilt tripped into going out to get it because the traffic is so bad in Bristol now blah blah blah. So after a long day and wanting to treat me and my partner to a curry with a recommendation I got myself back up and out the door to pick it up. I wish I had listened to the obstacles in my way. I got there and couldn't pay by card so had to walk to the local shop to get cash out. got my food and free poppadum and headed home. I was exhausted and pretty pissed off by this point but tried to keep my spirits high. On getting home the bath I was supposed to have whilst waiting for dinner was luke warm so had a quick bird bath and hit the sofa to have this lovely dinner I have my heart set on. In a nut shell the food was so bland. We went to india beginning of this year for a month and the food was out of this world. Food here is not the same. I make a better curry with proper ingredients. I ate one piece of meat as it was tough as old boots. Gutted I lost £25 to this place. I would avoid if looking for a good curry, this place does not do that. It breaks my heart to leave a review like this but I wish I had looked at the reviews before ordering.

Akash is our go to for a great Indian takeaway. We have used them A LOT over the years and they have never failed us. They were slightly late in delivering this time but the food was still delicious and hot, so we quickly got over that. We loved it and can't wait for our next treat night.

The Vegetable Dhal was extremely hot (spicy) so that's something to know as it wasn't indicated on the menu.

Excellent place for takeaway Indian food with a 20% discount available for collection. The food is of a high quality at a low price and is always very tasty. Been living in the area (and trying various indian takeaways) for years now and this is definitely the best around, especially for the price. Lovely Chicken Tikka Dupiaza as well and they usually throw in a few free poppadoms. Naan bread is good but a little inconsistent with the quality. The wife also loves the Akash Special Rice, highly recommended takeaway!

For the second time in a row akash have gotten our order wrong. Giving us the wrong chutney. Otherwise the food is brilliant and the delivery boy is quick and polite.

Food was very good, arrived hot and quick delivery too, only disappointment is that my 1.5L bottle of coke was left behind and not had any calls with apologies.

Food was never delivered with Akash saying the cancelled it and Just Eat adamant they didn't. Terrible service all round from both Restaurant and Just Eat. I won't be using either again.

Incorrect order delivered. Asked for two chutneys. Only got one and that was a chutney I don't like! Normally very good, let down this time.

Disappointed... For those of us that use the app the "collection/delivery" buttons are millimetres away from the "checkout" button, I always use delivery but I guess this time I must have pressed collection by accident. When I spoke to a member of staff they said if I wanted them to deliver I would have to pay them the extra which I said of course that's fine. Then they changed their mind and said I had to collect. I'm a single parent so had to ask a neighbour to mind the kids. On my way out the door from collecting from Akash the member of staff at the desk called me back inside, "Oi mate!" And pointed to the word 'collection' on my receipt "what does it say there??" I've Bought from Akash 36 times in 12 months. Spent £622.60 and always used delivery, when realising my mistake and asking if they would mind delivering I really thought they would be prepared to give me the benefit of the doubt for an honest mistake but they didn't even say they were too busy or give me any reasons for the change in mind not only that the member of staff at the desk thought it would be clever to be sarcastic to me as I'm leaving. I wasn't even able to stomach my food after being humiliated and angry - I hope they like losing regulars
