Stood waiting for ages. Staff opening late. Complete waste of time. Usually good food and staff but today they were as useful as an inflatable dartboard

We are a family of 5 with 2 children who are Coeliac who can’t eat gluten. It’s been a while since we have tried a Wagamama. The experience used to be far from perfect. When we would be handed a great big folder and had to work out what was safe. Things have changed for the better. They had a no Gluten menu with a wide range of sides, mains and deserts. You can view the menu online. There is a range of curries, noodles and ramens. The manager took our order and made sure we stayed safe throughout and the experience was excellent. When the kids didn’t like one of their drinks (personal taste) it was taken away, replaced with one they did and taken off the bill without asking. Our daughter wanted a kids meal but in an adult portion. No problem. We ordered 2 and they combined them on the plate. They ran out of gluten free chicken and cooked some more fresh for a ramen which meant we had to wait a little longer. An apology and they took it off the menu again without asking. They didn’t need to but it will mean we are way more likely to return. Thanks to Pedro and team! Wagamamas is back on the list of restaurants we like to go to.

Quick trip on the bus to the Lexicon to grab something to eat on my first day in the UK. My brother recommended the restaurant and it did not disappoint! The menu has a good variety to select from...and all of it looked delicious !!! Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. It took less than 15 mins for our food to arrive...made fresh to order and packing a punch of flavour!! Portions were a good size, food looks good and tastes even better. Excellent experience with delicious food!

We went here for dinner and was lovely. To share we all had the fried vegetables which were a bit expensive but fried in a nice sauce. For my main, I had Katsu but instead of chicken I had the veggie option. It was meant to be battered butternut squash but I asked to swap to aubergine and they were ok with that. It was amazing. With rice and veg as well.

What a super team this Wagamama has. As a fan of Wagamama, would say this is the best one we have visited. Food very good but what made it special wa she service. Thanks for making a really rubbish day that teeny bit better for us.

Not very nice food since they have changed management along with not very good customer service. Order didn’t go through- went at the allocated time for them to say they didn’t receive the order then started looking through a bundle of receipts (I think it did go through they just didn’t spot it) no apology just said it’ll be ready in 5-10 minutes to which we replied okay we’ll be back then. As walking out because ‘should we make it now?’ That just sums up the people running the shop

Ordered from Uber so can’t comment on service. But food a MASSIVE disappointment. £6.50 for a sausage and bacon baguette. Cheap sausages and 1 bit of bacon which was mostly fat and not well done like I had asked for. Hash browns over cooked and dry. Not sure what went wrong as ordered from here many times and never had any complaints. Obviously breakfast is not their thing.

I actually went next door for fish and chips but they are "cash only" so I ended up ordering from J3. Chatting to the guy there, the place went under new ownership in November 2023, so very recently! I ordered crispy chilli chicken and egg fried rice. Although the dish had red chillies in it, it was not hot (in spice) at all, however it was quite a pleasant dish and a good portion size. Although it's hard to judge fairly on just one dish, I was only eating for me so there you go! I was not blown away by the meal but, conversely I ate all of it and it seemed better than the J3 (or even Forest Chinese before that) of old, which was inconsistent at best. My favourite Chinese is still easily Dragon House in Birch Hill, but the J3 seems better under new management.

Had a takeaway for 3 people from this restaurant. Expensive but would not have been a problem but ordered a chicken Dhansac and asked for not spicy. Dhansac are normally sweet and sour !!!!!! But this meal was awful Far too hot and could not be eaten I have this meal regularly and do not have a problem indeed have been to this restaurant and had the same dish And it was perfect So what happened Different chef of maybe the order taker just did not listen Has really put me off using this restaurant . So not happy and left disappointed
