Having been coming here for a couple of years, I would recommend it to anyone for LUNCH (£10) as it's a good price for what you get, no question. The mushrooms, ribs, a decent variety of vegetables, beef and Asian selection is great and a personal favourite. Plus all you can eat dessert. Only reason it loses a star from me is the following; 1. No WiFi at all. If you come here, don't expect WiFi or even a data signal to get through, nor can you make calls. You are completely cut off from the outside world. 2. Dinner and weekends/bank holidays are VASTLY overpriced (I avoid this place at the weekends). You are charged an extra £10 (£20 total) for the addition of the following, prawns and muscles.

This was a really poor example of a buffet restaurant and at 19 pounds a head without drinks, an expensive one. The food uses cheap ingredients with thin sauces, cheap fried sides and tasteless dishes in the main, although some of the Chinese dishes were not too bad. And the desset bar was full of cheap and nasty cakes and puddings with even cheaper ice cream and a chocolate fountain that doesn't even use chocolate, instead loaded with chocolate sauce of some kind. It did get me thinking that people think that they are getting some kind of deal with eat all you like food, but when the food is this poor, it is actually an expensive rip off. I have learned my lesson - less is more.

Got food poisoning. Suspected from crispy pork spring rolls or samosas as it’s one of the few things I ate and my friends didn’t.

food here is terrible. terrible service. management always replies with the same thing to bad reviews would avoid. Go wagamamas instead lol

Unfortunately none of the dim sum from their online menu was available in the restaurant during dinner service. A number of other dishes were also not there for dinner. The desserts were lacking alot of fresh fruit as advertised on their online menu with the only fresh options being seeded grapes and melon.

Came here for supper this evening with my disability group, and have been here many times before. Once again the food was amazing and the staff were excellent.

Excellent buffet restaurant with great options of cuisines. The Indian food section is specially good, really tasty Indian dishes. The taste was authentic Indian and it was not like the UK version of Indian food like other resturants, this really was a great experience.

We like to go here for lunch, as the menu offers a really wide selection of dishes - starters, soups, main dishes (choices mainly from China, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, India), desserts - cakes, ice cream, chocolate, fruits, vegetables. The food is always fresh, hot enough, and if it runs out, the staff immediately replenishes it. We can always find a table for 8 people even without a reservation.

Tangs is a really good buffet place with a range of options. The Chinese and Indian sections were my favourite.also the sushi’s were really good.

Food is always satisfactory with a good variety and tasty. AVOID at all costs during warm/hot weather as it is a completely unbearable temperature inside, all customers perspiring and fanning with drinks menus. Air con appeared to be on but did nothing to lower temperature.

Food was good, we ate early with young kids so was quite quiet but no complaints. Good price and value for money, will go back for sure

First time dining here. Food choice was plentiful but not something I would hurry back for. Kind of a jack of all trades but master of none unfortunately.

The buffet was fantastic! The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of options. I especially loved the Indian dishes prepared by Chef Vikas – they were truly amazing! The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely.

Very good experience! Was only expecting Chinese and Japanese foods, but Indian section literally amazes me. All Indian foods were one to one superb. I asked for the Indian chef to congratulate and I came to know chef named Vikas was the man behind the amazing foods. Cons. >No wifi available in the shop (also no network for your phone)(No O2, Vodafone, Lebara network available) > Parking is not available (you can find paid car park nearby)

Beautiful arrangement of food. I had a great experience at lunch, buffet. Quality food with loads of variety including vegetarian options . I loved every bite of it.

FEMALE MANAGER BRIYONY IS RUDE! AVOID! I am a regular customer and I always come to eat here with my kids. However, I came in to eat yesterday (Thurs 18July) and I was outraged. I paid for my tickets for entry and the female manager with the white shirt (I believe her name is Briyony heard from the girl that was serving me on till) was so rude and did not even bother seating me. She gave me a look up and down like I did not belong there and did not even bother to tell me to find a seat myself. I then questioned that same manager Briyony if she could tell me if there is any broccoli being brought out and she rudely said to me “It’s literally just finished just wait oh my god”. This is horrible service! These new managers need to get their manners trained if they are willing to manage a restaurant on their own.

Had an amazing experience. Good spread of Asian cuisine. Indian cuisine and sushi are a must try. Chef Vikas was very courteous and kept checking if everything was fine. Totally worth the price.

Less choices for vegetarian, too many chicken varieties. Good selection of sea food and deserts. Very much multicusine. Would be good to know if MSG is added to the food.

After a long time looking for something like this , my friend told us about it as we didn’t know was amazing food and staff and service was great. Lovely food lots of different kinds of food from India, curry, and more . But most of all the dessert were delicious will be back again .

The chinese supervisor doesnt know how to talk as a human being, they are limiting the time, he said 1 1/2 hours and in reality its just an hour we have spent and not enjoy the food as I always enjoy before. Removed that chinese supervisor.

The quality of his food is far less than 10 pounds and not worth trying. If it is similar to the quality and environment of a Hong Kong buffet, charging 100 pounds per person will be no problem. You will get what you pay for (dead disease)

Liked the simple setup, variety of foods, soup, and dessert. Only drawback for me was lack of seafood option. But still a great venue for either individual or group to have nice meal.

As we are not from area , we made a little drive but so worth it! We went for our family dinner and I can tell you , I been in different places in area for buffet , but this one is the best so far! Great selection of dish, the right temperature, food regularly topped up with all place clean ! We loved it ! Well done ! We will be back :)

It used to be our regular place, but the food quality has gone down whilst the price got increased. Visited this place again on 29th May, expecting to see some improvement. Result is total disappointment: pointed the problems to two of their staff members, one seems to be the manager, but they seems to be helpless. Food : soups are cornflour water with some eggs, corn and soya sauce.. meat items are stale and seems to be reheated. Fresh item is the seafood kitchen where they removed salmon, prawns, and reduced quantity of availanle items. Never think about using their toilets, some asian railway toilets are cleaner. May be because of the preservatives in food, I am feeling uncomfortable now. Never again..

Great value, I enjoyed the freshly cooked dishes. sushi and some of the vegetarian dishes. I felt it was let down by some of the meat dishes.

Visited Tangs on the 2nd of May arriving just before 7pm. Had planned on having a lovely night out with my wife. The food that we had was good, the plain noodles were a bit cold and the chicken nuggets didn’t taste right. The prawn crackers were also a little soft. Didn’t stay for puddings as there were a number of children from a large group running around screaming. We think they were having some sort of awards evening. They even thought the toilet was some sort of play area as they came in and were banging on the doors shouting obscenities. Quite honestly I was appalled that the parents were doing nothing to control them, but also the staff did not seem bothered either. For the amount we paid, not the best experience. Will be a while before we consider coming back again.

We came out for my birthday day treat meal we got here the restaurant and it was not that busy we got sat in a box room which looks more like a stock room no ambience no music loads of free seats around the restaurant i asked if they was somewhere else we could sit as this is not very nice told no the room was quit small as they are trying to get more customers in this room but is very tight I am not the smalls guy. Why we was here two other parties got sat in the room was very quickly resat else where.

Lots and lots of food and very cheap. However, price is reflected in quality of food but if it's quantity you're interested in then this place is for you!

There is a wide variety of food, price is great, taste is good and the atmosphere is not bad. The chips, nuggets, fries are great. However, there seems to be MSG or other chemical in the oriental food that I react adversely to every time I come and eat here.

I don't normally do reviews on restaurants but this one was outstanding! So many choices from Indian, Chinese, pizza, roast dinner and even donner kebab amazing will defo be returning 😁

We went to this place for lunch and food was limited to Chinese and some Indian dishes. The Indian food was nice and delicious but the Chinese dishes were not very flavourful and lacking seasoning. Some of the food seemed as it was reheated; perhaps left over from the night before. Nevertheless I must admit that for just under £10 per person it's good value for money. I would recommend the place but I would suggest that the chef pays a little more attention to the seasoning of the food and not to serve reheated food.

Plenty of choice and good food prefer it to Cosmo in Reading.

Service is great and a large variety of foods - come here starving you will not be disappointed. Only feedback is they could refresh certain dishes as some items become dry under the heated light.

Good selection of cold and hot food for a reasonable price of around £9 per person at lunch time. The taste is pretty authentic. Plenty of seating as it's a large restaurant so suitable for large parties. Just shame there's no hand drier in the toilets or usage of chopsticks.

Booked table but had to wait for one to be available. Food was fine but some dishes were empty. Used plates were cleared promptly.

Went there with my partner a while back. Ate so much that my 15 minute walk turn led into a nightmare. Had to run really fast for the last 5 minutes to make it on time. Food 6/10 Run 8/10 Evacuation 11/10

a superb place to go for a buffet type meal,l. the choice of food is huge, always hot(unless it's not meant to be) and very well cooked. the place is spotless and the staff are very attentive without being intrusive.

We have been to this place many time . All their chicken , beef , mutton , lamb are halal . A huge selection of food . Chinese, Japanese, Indian , Lebanese, English , Sea food and many more selection . Huge selection of desserts. But if you are non alcoholic check with the waiter before taking the tiramisu and some other desserts which contains alcohol. Soft drinks pay separately

Food is Amazing and the atmosphere is very good..

It's an ok place for an All you can eat restaurant. The food was ok, not amazing but ok. Service, in the form of till service, was slow and some food you had to wait for it to be refilled but not many. The table cleaning service was quite light, they only seemed to clean the tables when they were needed for the next set of guests. The biggest disappointment with the place was that you paid an All you can eat price but then you had to pay again for soft drinks. Knowing how much soft drinks syrup costs (next to nothing) I think they could have provided soft drinks in the price of the meal, even if that meant the meal price was £1 more.

Great place . I have been 3 times now .I love is so simple pay on the way in . Help your self do not need to wait to order food, drinks when you are finish with your dinner just leave . No need to wait for waiter ect. Staff at the front so friendly . Place is very busy. People constantly come and go . It was really tidy for the fact how many people and children are running around . Not expensive for the fact you can try everything you want you like it or not . I love the grill sea food , sweet sour chicken, pancake with crispy duck .

They previously offered a card that would be stamped during each visit until reaching a free meal, but when I visited, they denied its existence, claiming they had discontinued the scheme. It appears to be a scam. I expressed my frustration by throwing the card in front of the staff, which I admit was very rude and disrespectful.

Tangs was absolutely awful, there was chicken nuggets and pop corn chicken I have in my freezer no chicken balls or chow mein very cramped and unorganised very expensive for what it is and food wasn’t nice we walked out after a few bites. Do not recommend.

I was really saddened by my visit here. I’m on a work trip and decided to try something new but I wish I had not. The food was cold, chicken was dry and hard, the chefs to cook stuff fresh weren’t bothered and were cleaning off their stations so you felt like you couldn’t ask for anything fresh. And sadly to top it off, some dishes tasted absolutely horrible. Korma wasn’t korma, satay chicken wasn’t satay chicken. A real shame as the reviews said it was great.

I have had a gastric bypass and so can't eat loads. Every time I have been there, when I've told them, they have allowed me child price. I don't abuse this as I simply can't consume a normal amount. I've never had to plead with them. This is one reason why I go there for special occasions (my sons 30th this time) along with the lovely food. Although their shredded duck is more like saw dust and don't rate it at all. I guess they can't be totally perfect. 😁

Most of the food was very nice. Good selection. You have to pay before you eat . You also have to go to the bar yourself and buy drinks seperatly. Comparing it to where I normally go if I fancy a Buffett meal ( Cosmo reading) this place beats it. This restaurant is very clean and quick to take old plates away. Food stations were kept full and clean. Only negative was a little road man lurking on the stairs as we were leaving trying to rob my bag via distraction but this wasn't the restaurants fault so will return

I know this is a buffet but I would have liked the prawn toast to have had some prawn, maybe it was just this evening but all in all it was very poor indeed

Overpriced, cold food! 2 adults, 12 year old and a 3 year old cost us £80 including soft drinks, the food was poor quality and cold! Compared to cosmos buffet in reading which is hard to fault, tangs was one of the worst buffets I have been too, don’t bother with it, absolute waste of money! Really disappointed. Staff were friendly but not attentive.

Food was good but staff was rude.It was a buffet but they started jacking us around because they could not control the crowd.We were about 20 that came from my company and their manager did not speak nicely to us because we came 15 minutes early.The ambience was good but Customer Service was zero.I wasn't impressed at all

Awesome choice of food, which is kept topped up routinely. Despite being a busy place there was never any problem in browsing and getting your food. Awesome place, am already planning a next visit.

I feel I have to give them 5 stars, based on the variety and quality of the food. The wine is very competitively priced. Been here 6 times, so I must enjoy it.

Had to give one star because there isn't an option to give zero.We booked for 7 at 7:30 and cancelled and changed it to 5:30.And they just keep saying we only booked table for two and flexing how we're fully booked.We have a confirmation email saying booked table for 7(17:30-19:00).But they rejected the fact that we cancelled it.That's how awful this is.Go to cosmo instead,Please.

Location: Bracknell Town Center and easy to find parking. But the restaurant has no mobile signal for Three and BT…. Sigh… Food: Let’s go station by station Salad – Nice and fresh, choices are limited and nothing special Soup – They have sweet corn soup (which was nice) and hot and sour soup (which was horrible). Duck with Pan Cake – Yes, it is on offer but the pan cake was very very bad. Duck was chopped into very small pieces and the quality is below par. Lots of spring onion / cucumber plus sauce which was nice. India Curry – Actually, all curry on offer were amazing. I love them all and nan break were freshly made too. Kebab – Chicken kebab was nice but doner kebab was tasteless Dim Sum – Very limited selection and don’t have Shiu Mai (pork dumpling), Har Gau or Cha Shui Bao. Very disappointed. I went there because of these items….. Teppanyaki – They have prawn, sirloin steak and salmon on offer. This is a must visit station. Highly recommented Thai Curry – You get Red or Green, average taste, meats were rather dry Prawn Toast – I don’t normally have them but they were yummy Spring Roll – Nothing special here Salt and Pepper Squid – Nice but wasn’t freshly cooked Black Bean Mussels – Average, wasn’t that fresh Prawns with Spring Onion & Ginger – It didn’t taste good at all, lack of favour Malaysian Curry – This was nice but again, meat was dry Roast Pork in sauce – This was yummy, highly recommended BBQ Ribs – This was yummy too but a little dry Noodles and fried rice – They were okay, nothing very special Dessert – This was below average. Some ice cream on offer, random cakes and some fruits. Not worth visiting….. Conclusion: I don’t think it is value for money. Quality of the food is average with nothing very special on offer. India curry was nice but if I want a curry, I can get better one in a curry house. I think COSMO in Reading offers better food and better value for money. I am unlikely to visit again.

Very bad experience,I don't recommend.We have been 4,2 adults ,a 7 year old girl and a 6 month baby,they charge me for 3 adults and 1 half price ,the baby doesn't eat,I ask for a refund and I didn't received the money back,and it's not all,to change the baby it's impossible, very dirty,into a cake I found some plastic.Vey bad experience.

Our first time at tangs after a friend recommended. Which he didn't. Curry was so spicy unedible the food was not covered. My wife found hairs in her food. We were both ill all night afterwards would not ever come again .also very tired inside tables chairs and decor. Had a group of very rowdy Eastern Europeans next to us shouting and swearing. The young girl looking after us moved us to another table bless her she was the only good thing about the whole experience very dissapointed
