Wafflings in Birmingham

Pathetic service, the lady working in the morning didn’t seem interested and was rude. We came in as a large group of 12 people and the restaurant was empty but the way she spoke to us seemed like she was unhappy that she had to serve us instead of doing nothing. Anytime I asked her anything about the menu, she seemed upset and her response didn’t help us with the order. First ever visit and definitely the last only because of the lady. Owners should look into to her attitude.

Was a little dubious at first , placed order wasn't really expecting much as it was a last Minute decision to visit. But was pleasantly surprised, gorgeous fresh food and lovely hot drinks . Will deffo be back. The waffle is very filling and tastes really good not like other places in Brum, highly recommend.. lovely service from staff, clean, friendly and service high quality food and ice cream. You won't be disappointed:)

I came to Wafflings with my daughters. We all ordered waffles. Absolutely delicious. Lovely clean environment. Would definitely recommend. Will be visiting again.

Excellent ! We had the savoury tuna with chilli waffle and Reeces salted caramel toffee ice cream for dessert. Great tasting food, nicely made and served by Andrew. He was attentive, courteous and polite. I didn’t know what I wanted by I asked about the menu which he kindly made suggestions for me. Very helpful. The food did not disappoint. The premises was very clean, so was the cutlery and table. The staff were well presented too. A great experience. I will return! Thank you Andrew!

I keep expecting this place to close. Whenever I see it, it's basically empty but it has lovely food and has nice staff.

We waited almost an hour and food was stone cold! They are a waffle place and had only one waffle maker!They had some customers and the Arab looking dude thought he was really busy! Food is expensive and all he could do was sorry we'll take your feedback. I'll never go to this place again in my life!

Sundae needs less cream more sundae

They are never open and don’t have anything posted on windows.

GREAT PLACE!! Love it!! The atmosphere is spot on! And the food is delish and the drinks are yummy!! Service is good too! I got! A vegan flafael waffle and avocado toast with a iced latte it's was yummy gorgeous and tasty! Definitely coming back if I can

I've always been wanting to go here and today finally got the chance, amazing place, amazing desserts, not your typical waffles these are soft and the fillings are amazing, abit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for, was my first time so I just asked what they recommended and it didn't disappoint the red velvet cookie dough with strawberry Ice cream delicious 😋😋 definitely coming back

the preparing took too long but the driver made up for it and came really quickly!! if it wasn’t for the driver it would of got 3 stars!

My wife and I went to Wafflings and we LOVED our experience. The staff were kind, warm and gave us some excellent recommendations! My wife ordered a waffle which was light and fluffy but they really nailed it by infusing natural flavours (like cinnamon). Most dessert places overload it with sauces and ice cream which makes it sickly sweet, but this was perfect, I ordered white chocolate cookie dough which, again, was just immense and pure joy to eat. Highly recommend!

I often take my daughter here for a treat, she loves the waffles, they have a great menu to choose from and the waffles are very large (she never manages to finish the whole thing). The staff have always been friendly, for some reason the places lacks a bit of atmosphere but otherwise this is a great place for waffles and I particularly like their coffee.

I used wafflings as the venue for my baby shower. Space was great , staff were lovely , food and drinks were delicious! Would definitely recommend for an event , takeout or dine in !

Worst waffles ever! We ordered Mediterranean waffle was so dry, cold and not well presented just had a few squashed falafels thrown in with a few cherry toms. The plate had a crack on the side! My kids ordered nutella and oreo waffles, and theirs were cold and dry too.Don't waste your time coming here if you like a good dessert. Miserable staff too, not helpful. Really disappointed!

Good range of vegan options I did visit today and must admit I was very disappointed with the service received. Worker was not interested, didn’t understand vegan orders, actually stated there’s no mix made so I’ll have to make it as if I was putting this worker out (by doing her job). When I received the waffle it had items missing and it was a waste of money due to such poor service. If the employee planned on leaving items off I should have been informed PRIOR to the order being placed so I could have chosen a different option. I have never had issues like this before and would suggest this employee is monitored as she performed really poorly in terms of customer service, product offered which will affect the customer experience,

Absolutely fantastic waffle - sweet and cinnamon flavour - which complimented the toppings perfectly. I had pistachio and strawberry and a scoop of pistachio ice cream, and it was perfect. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Ordered a savoury waffle it was cold and barely any filling. Ordered a sweet waffle and they charge £1.80 for a scoop of ice cream this is robbery at other places the ice comes with waffle. expensive menu

Really nice place to add sweetness to your day. The Tutti Fruti is highly recommended if you are a fan of tropical flavours. Additionally, Nutella Strawberry is verry yummy ☺️.

Place just opened. A truly different type of waffle and original toppings. Pleasant staff and very amicable owner. I hope they do well. So just a follow Up. Their savoury waffles are perfect for breakfast and lunch. And only 5 pounds. Can’t beat that. And very good quality. Highly recommend it.

Met with friends over there, not much familiar with their menu, as it was hot sunny day, I asked something ice drink. With a Helpful staff I got a nice drink over there, still don't know what they call it

Gorgeous, a Ln ample portion that was super tasty. The red velvet and the white chocolate cookies were delish. The ice-cream was extremely tasty too. Very much worth a visit after you've had a meal out in Mosley.

Lovely waffles ! Outstanding service by James They prepare food wearing gloves ! That is in it’ self a great practice ! Place was very jazzy and clean !

Decent experience, decor and ambience is refreshingly different from what you see copied and pasted elsewhere, service was also good. Had the Oreo milkshake which was ok, nothing special. Biggest drawback was tables not being cleaned once customers had left, we were there about 40 min and the same tables were dirty throughout, wasn't particularly busy either. Great concept and menu choices aren't bad, a bit more care and professionalism would do wonders.

Best waffles ever! Been there in person and had them delivered. Both savory and sweet waffles are really flavour full with some great and unusual topping choices like pistachios or Giotto. Absolutely love it!

Sister took me for birthday treat. Really enjoyed eating here. The price is affordable, and the waffle was soft. This place does both savoury and sweet waffles. The milkshakes were yummy 😋 smoothy This place I would definitely recommend for all to try.

Please stop charging for dairy free milk in drinks and charging more for vegan waffle options than the others. Health characteristics and veganism are protected characteristics. It does not cost 40p extra for a dash of oat milk and you're saving on dairy milk anyway.

Went in today and was welcomed by a friendly staff member who was very polite order the cookie dough and was the best cookie dough I’ve ever had and would recommend anyone who is in Birmingham to try this dessert place it was to die for and would come back for the cookie dough Also to add seen that this place does a 2 for 1 on Tuesday for cookie so I would deffo come on Tuesday to have 2

We came here today after going to another cafe that was so rude and ignored us until we left. Luckily we chose this cafe instead the guy serving actually said hello when we walked in which seems to be rare in most places nowadays, he was professional and polite and was clearly working hard when it got busy. The waffles filled us up, the icecream was really nice. The tables were clean. Regardless of anything its always the service that counts and is most appreciated for me.

Clean and fresh decor, greeted by Ally who was very helpful but got my order wrong, spoke to the Arab manager who was really disappointing as he knew nothing about customer service and was laughing at me. So Mr Manger next time your server makes a mistake have the common decency to rectify the fault, don’t smile and laugh at your customers! To the owner you need to teach this manager some basic customer service, very dissatisfied experience!!!

Ordered a Frappuccino chocolate boom. Mentioned chocolate boom twice. I got a cappuccino instead. When I mentioned this to the cashier I was told I have to pay full price for the Frappuccino and not the difference. (So I have to pay for their mistake) . Even though I did NOT order a cappuccino. I have never been told to pay for a mistake that was made by the cashier/waitress and then Pay for the correct order. I left politely and In shock. My first visit here and never again.

The place is nice and the coffee was ok. The waffles which I thought would be wow were basically tasteless, underdone sponge cake. It was also pricey and probably the main reason we were the only customers.

I really don’t recommend this place, waffles were uneatable, too smoothies made from juice and not fruits, that makes them expensive £5.8 for a glass of juice.

Surprisingly big dessert Café in the middle of Moseley that's open late. To date we've had a variety of shakes (all very good, rich with ice cream, but not too sweet) smoothies (the mango is particularly good) and the kids have given big thumbs up for the waffles. Staff friendly and helpful. There's seating downstairs and more upstairs that's a bit more relaxed and comfortable. Eclectic music

They serve like the thinnest american waffles covered in sauces. They are basically pancakes with waffle pattern, but not with deep pockets as any waffle would have. Do not expect the leavened type belgian waffles and forget about the pearl sugar coating on them to make the dough crunchy on the outside. Very dissappointing.

It's my first time at this place, and I will never go back the place was not aired, it smelled burned and oily a worker wasn't sympathetic at all And very rude , you can't sit long in the shop and enjoy you're waffle because the smell was very strong
