This restaurant does not need my review but here it is anyway: 5-star American Diner! 🇺🇸⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Better than Ed's Diner) The tables are interactive screens with games, which will keep kids and adults entertained until the food comes, but the food comes quickly! The prices are so good for a London restaurant and for an American-style diner, the atmosphere is so friendly thanks to the fun Americana decor and the super-friendly staff. The waiter-ing is akin to American hosting, it's clear this restaurant is the owner's passion project so you feel the love in every moment you're there and every bite you eat! ☺️ The waffles are in the name, and the waffles are the best you'll ever have 🧇 I'm a lover of shakes, and the vanilla shake is to die for, so thick and creamy, absolute indulgence! 🥛😋 I found this place after an operation at a nearby hospital, and came back here after my post-op because it was so good! 😚❤️

The service was warm and very friendly. The staff always smiled and not a fake smile but a welcoming smile. The prices are also very fare and reasonable. This would be an idle pit stop for families or even bikers on the way to Box Hill or even on the London to Brighton run. Whatever the occasion, I would recommend this little place for everyone if you're passing.

You feel the atmosphere the minute you walk in! The only place open Sunday morning and what a gem we found! Will be back for an evening treat cheat dinner, takes us back to America! Kudos to the owners, you can see the effort put into this place!

Fun place to be if you have kids. The gaming touch screen tables are the reason to come to this place. And the friendly service.

I have tried Waffle Jacks several times and I must say the first thing you notice is how well they treat you, extraordinary customer service. All the staff are super nice, always making you feel welcomed. My favourite food from there must be the English breakfast and pancakes!

The service is friendly and attentive. The chicken is good, could do with skinny chips as opposed to the chip shop chips. Good value for money as well.

I love the tables - they have some of them set up with video games on them E.g. virtual air hockey. The guy who served us was extremely accommodating and charismatic too. Food was ideal too, hit the mark exactly. Will be back 100%.

Fantastic atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! It was very funny as we played some interactive games on the tables. I strongly recommend it especially for families with young children.

Friday lunch food with the large Hotdog, milkshake and waffle with chicken. All we're really good (really tasty large sausage, recommended), and adorable hosting from the Boss. Too bad I'm far from here cause would love come back!

The guys here are great. Nothing is too much for them. The food is great, and so is the atmosphere. The kids love coming here. There are infinity tables for them to stay occupied.

My wife and I popped in yesterday, straight away we were greeted with a big friendly smile and a hello. Service was fast,efficient & friendly. Food came out quickly & was fresh,hot & big portions. My wife had the veggie hotdog & I had the chicken burger. Both were amazing and as for the milkshakes they were divine!! Lots of calories but well worth walking it off with a long walk afterwards. Little local hiden gem,well worth a visit.

Lovely staff, always got a smile on their face. The food is amazing and always comes fast. I would recommend the American pancakes and waffles. We go very regularly, and we still love it! Definetly a must-go for anyone who likes American food!

I ordered a waffle with some bacon and cheese, and I loved it. The bacon was so delicious. I also ordered a smoothie, which was also great. 😋 The staff were so nice and welcoming, really enjoyed my lunch here today.

I popped in out of curiosity and was rewarded with good food which arrived fast. The staff were lively and the owners were warm and welcoming. Every customer there seemed to be happy and enjoying the atmosphere. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be back.

Waffle Jack's is just marvellous. Fabulously warm welcome, excellent service, amazing decor, several interactive game tables and the food is out of this world. They are a very popular place, understandably so and booking is recommended, essential on a Saturday and Sunday. They are great with kids too.

Went to this restaurant for the first time last week and it was amazing. I had attended a friend's birthday. The owner or manager was sooo awesome and the staff amazing. They know how to make you feel welcome. The atmosphere was a nice vibe, good to see something different in London. Food was also really good, cooked well and tasty. Will definitely be visiting again. Keep it up!!!

The food is really nice, and the atmosphere is very cool (my daughter said she would decorate her flat in the exact same style) but the best thing about this place is the owner. A very pleasant and welcoming bloke :) we will definitely return!

Beautifully presented food but I had a very upset stomach a few hours later. The waffles were very dry because no maple syrup had been added. The strawberry milkshake tasted good but had no strawberries in it.

Ordered waffles, bacon, eggs, and chicken strips. Everything tasted nice, but the waffled were really dry until the owner got me some maple syrup. I don't know why it wasn't served with it in the first place. I had the 'pie of the day,' which was Alabama fudge cake. It could have done with more fudge tbh. Confusingly, the dessert was brought out first, so the ice cream it was served with had begun to melt by the time I finished the waffles. I also had a strawberry milkshake, which looked and tasted great but had no actual strawberries in it. Unfortunately, a few hours after eating this meal, I had a very bad upset stomach, which somewhat spoilt the experience.

Manager and staff are really friendly, great food and atmosphere. Have interactive tables and amazing decor would definitely recommend and will be coming back

We tried Waffle Jacks for the first time today. We had a great experience. We went in with a young baby and a dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. Attentive and friendly service, did not rush us. The waffles were a highlight! We will return.

Took the kids and grandparents along for dinner - great food and lovely friendly service from the staff and owner. Our kids love the interactive tables, and of course their hot dogs, burgers and waffles! Also great gluten free options for me and my youngest (plus milk allergy) - staff very knowledgeable regarding allergies. Kids and mum have been back several times on weekdays, so safe to say it’s become a firm local favourite!

Amazing food, such a surreal experience and definitely felt american

I recently dined at Waffle Jack's American Diner and had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service provided by our waitress was top-notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty meal with a welcoming atmosphere. The only minor hiccup was when I ordered the pie of the day and received a chocolate cake instead (not sure why they call it pie), but it didn't detract from the overall positive experience.

Absolutely love this place. We had the philly cheese steak and it was very filling. Atmosphere makes you feel like your in a real American diner. You can pair your phone with the table and show your pictures or play some games. Staff were so kind and helpful and friendly. I would definetly go again and highly recommend this venue.

This little spot is one of our favorites! Just visited for third time, and the owner bent over backwards to celebrate our little 5 year old with signs and a special song and treat. The burgers cannot be beat in London. Milkshakes, amazing! Make some time to visit this little gem!

Great interactive tables for children and adults, this would be amazing for those who have children with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. Food is 10/10 delicious and the atmosphere and decor is super fun and quirky and we loved the rock and roll music. My little boy didnt want to leave and asked if we could live here.

Very lovely American classic cafe with the tables that have a screen built in to it with games. So the kids are keep busy as you enjoy your morning coffee. Lovely staff

I always look forward to having breakfast here when I'm visiting my daughter in nearby Morden. A lovely, warm welcome & effusive service. Fresh waffles & pancakes, maple syrup & excellent coffee. 😁 Maybe need to rethink the reserving system into a first thru the door system but maybe it works for them. Certainly very busy.

Great place for students me and my friends come here after uni as it’s only 5 mins away and the manager is lovely!! Food is quick!! Great deals for students I honestly cannot recommend this place more !

Seven of us came here after a running race. Instantly friendly welcome from the owner. Managed to get sat after table had left, table was cleared really quickly, coffees ordered and arrived fast. Food order taken in, again, a friendly and efficient way. Food arrived quickly. Super tasty and just what we wanted. But the stand out thing was the service. Probably the best I've experienced in a long time anywhere. The chap couldn't have done any more to make us welcome. Worth a visit. I don't live near her and don't know when I will visit the area again but if you are passing and want good food done with GREAT service you should visit.

There are so many things that contribute towards this being such a great place for a family meal. Cool furnishings and funky pieces decorating the walls, awesome interactive touch screen tables to keep the kids amused during courses, fantastic menu choice and top quality food to back it up. But by far and away the most impressive thing about this place is the service. Nothing is too much trouble. You genuinely feel looked after and like the owners really do care about your experience.

I was initially drawn to it because of the cool American decor, but was bowled over with the incredibly kind, friendly service and tasty, high quality food. My daughter enjoyed a hot dog and chips - really yummy and not greasy! I wanted something lighter so they made me a delicious chicken salad. The waffles were incredible, and they offer different potion sizes - ideal if you just want a small dessert. We felt the prices were good value for the quality, service and ambience. Will definitely be back and next time will book one of the interactive games tables - they looked so much fun!! Thank you for a great night and making us feel so welcome! ☺️

They force you to have fries with the meal you can’t just have a burger on its own with no fries, this is very stressing for autistic people like me who have sensory problems and have a fear of chips

Staff were very friendly, food was amazing. The interacting game tables was fun while we waited (not that there was much waiting time). Would definitely recommend the red velvet waffles, will be coming back soon to try something else on the menu.

A meal to remember....A restaurant never to forget! Once in a blue moon to break the normal mold of just going to the same favourite cafes and restaurants... thanks to Trip Advisor and Google I discovered "just what the doctor ordered'..for my first outing after hospital surgery...I was craving a dose of American cuisine and lucky us to happen onto Waffle Jake's American Diner! The biggest obstacle was reading the menu and making a choice, as our mouths watered with decision time looming. Completely embraced by the wonderful kitch USA decor...even recognising car license plates on the wall being an ex-pat Chelsea based American...when the affable Owner Steven engaged with us and took the order from milkshake to burger and breakfast fare... there was no doubt: we were in the right place and were already planning a future visit. When the feast arrived - best nostalgic cuisine ever-and so abundant that the proverbial 'doggie bags' were distributed kindly for take home to tempt other members of the family to taste the treasure we had discovered. As the Terminator said: "I'll be back"!

We hired Waffle Jack’s American Diner today for a photoshoot and videoshoot. From the start, they were brilliant with the booking. When we arrived Stephan & Adele the owners were so lovely and accommodating. They made sure we were fed, and looked after from 9am to 5pm. The diner was so perfect for our shoots and the end results look fantastic. We had a little taster of a milkshake, toastie & veggie burger and they were all so tasty. I would love to come back as a customer and order different items from the menu! Thanks again for a great day!

A great little cafe for a delicious English or American breakfast. I often go to a cafe on Saturday morning with a bunch of friends while our kids are occupied, but that other cafe has rubbish food, so I pop to Waffle Jack's first for a full English. Yum!

A small, quaint, little American diner on the edge of Wimbledon with a larger than life feel. The food was absolutely delicious & the owners (I assume) were more than accommodating to us. They were friendly, approachable people who just oozed happiness. It’s infectious. We left feeling satisfied & elated. The diner itself is small but has plenty of seating & some of the tables were interactive with games & puzzles. Highly recommend!

The Macaroni cheese was just perfect, The Burger and chips fed us all well. then Waffle and ice cream with a trickle of Chocolate sauce over it was well worth thinking about licking the plate but we did not do that .Nice place, cool staff and nothing was to much for them to help with.

Just had dinner with my husband and the food was very good, great portion. Monica was lovely and helpful. The ambiance was great with all the happy children around. 👍🏼👍🏼
