Amazing!!! Tastes very good. Just finished munching a meal from there for £5!!!!! You get to choose 3 Veg curries with one non-veg curry with rice in a decent sized box. Awesome!!!!

10/10 best Sri Lankan / South Indian food in London. Super authentic. Spicy with a CAPITAL S. Not for the whites. It's giving flavor, soul, authenticity, aunty made it. LOVE in every single bite. P.s. I forgot to take a photo because the food so good. This is what I had half through eating it.

Delicious Sri Lankan food, wide range of options available from curries to kothu roti to biriyani, both meat and veg. Very reasonable prices and friendly service.

The place is clean and tidy. They sell various dishes, veg and non vegetarian curry, samosa, fish, biryani, patties. Some food is visible on the counter, some is on shelves in packets as well as some shelves with drink bottles. They take credit cards. The service was helpful but if someone is there before you saying I want this, and can I have that and can I have something else, they don't get anyone else to serve you, you need to wait. My biggest concern and disappointment is when I order a curry, what I expect is a heated, hot, ready to eat dish. What I got for a vegetarian curry was food taken from the counter area, put in a plastic container and given to me. But not hot. Cool. So it seems unclear if this is a takeaway selling hot food you can eat straight away or a delicatessen where you buy, take home and heat. The regular portion for around £3 is quite small, a container that fits in your hand. Almost a side dish rather than a main course. There were no customer toilets.

Have been coming to Wada Express since 2010. Wonderful selection of delicious Sri Lankan food. You can also order ahead on phone, that ensures that the food is freshly prepared. The shop decor is very dated though. They accept DD loyalty scheme

Veg thali is different everyday and fresh the deal is rice and 4 veg curry for £4.50/- which i find best

So my son Jesse Benedict came for some mutton rolls from south London. On first impressions, he was like "WADA hell is this". after he was greeted by friendly staff. After conducting with the staff on what to order, he decided to get the infamous jazz mutton roll. however after his first bite it took a sudden turn for my young son as he bit into raw mutton which took him from surprise after being a local for over 10 years. NOT IMPRESSED ANNA.

Food was way to spicy even though I asked for absolutely mild The women obviously don't speak or understand English so they gave me the hottest things on the menu. I went home to eat and there was at least 30-40 red hot chilli 🌶 in the dish. Times that by 4 dishes I bought. Absolutely insane. Couldn't even taste the food all I could taste was the chilli

We traveled ten miles to get here to buy Sri Lanka's takeaway food which is excellent and which is a once a month schedule, and get an excellent service.

We ordered 31 rolls they gave us only 26. String hopper ordered for 50 the gave us 25 white and 25 brown which they were all ripped. Don’t recommended.

These Sri Lankan people do not understand the ‘time’. I had stand for 50 mins to collect the pre ordered meals.

Food is restaurant standard at a low budget price. Would highly recommend you visit if you are in the area very cost effective and affordable but does not compromise on quality.

Fantastic value for money and so much variety of food. They catered for 50 medhu wada's really quickly as my previous supplier pulled out! Thank you for helping me out and giving us very tasty and fresh wada's!

Absolutely love their food. We always come here for a nice sri lankan take away. Reasonable priced. They have everything pre cooked but in house!. Often you can buy lots of finger food that is still hot. Strongly recommend for a spice meal.

The potatoes in the dish had gone off.. really disappointed

Extremely disappointed, had to wait for over 20 minutes after paying to get string hoppers. Price increase and new prices not displayed. Mutton rolls should be sold as vegetarian as there was only one piece of mutton more potato and huge pieces of garlic

They're selling expired food and to hide that they're adding more spice and oil, i bought meal on a three months period only twice but nothing change i got sick after eating their expired food and not sure how the health and safety allowed them, how pathetic🙄 they are. I've no option to buy there food cause they're the nearby shop but now I travel to other place to by food. I didn't want to recommend their food to my enemy.

Hi I am regularly visit there. Food is ok I like it. There is lady behind the counter 40 to 45 ish she always scam when comes to pay!it’s not once few times! I saw her recipe as well. It’s shame to be owner or she part of their family I am not sure.I am not sure why she always say sorry and mistake. When you buy a a lot she does this scam. Pls owner should monitor this avoid transactions when she doing it.

Unhelpful, rude, cheating staff, random pricing. First visit found it a struggle to get the server to explain what anything was. She made it clear she didn't want to serve, and mumbled so quietly it was inaudible. I bought idlis, and the sambar was too little for the large dense idlis. However, the chutney was good and it was an ok value meal. At second visit. Two servers gave completely different prices. Didn't include one chutney and tried to scam us. When I tried to point it out, talked over us. We walked out, if this is what they are like to our face imagine what goes on at the back? Will not return.

I used to be a regular customer here, when I go to my GP I always come here to buy something and spending £15 or more each time... But i will never return here again as I'm not happy with their food and that they lie to me... I'm not a chilly lover, but abit of it I can compromise. I'm always asking how chilly it's and those Shri Lankan ppl saying no chilly in here at all,so I'm believing and buying, but actually it's chilly alot...when they are saying just little bit,not to much I'm imagining it's less than a mild dish and they accepting that...when I bring it in home and starting to eat I'm actually burning to much and at the same time cursing them... Don't go here if you don't like chilly food otherwise you'll regret when throwing it away...I threw a lot of food,bcz not possible to eat! I hate them now!

Really good Sri Lankan food, I would recommend getting the mutton rolls as it is filled with flavour. Medu Vadai with chutney is also very good.

The food at Wada is absolutely delicious! I love the pol roti & sambal, fish fry, mixed veg curry and an astronomically tasty pudding item that my family call ‘banana bomb’- a huge, round fried dough ball of deliciousness, feel ashamed I don’t know it’s proper name! Will remedy that with another visit very soon.

Good food quality at reasonable price. The non veg curries and sambar are excellent and truly worth a visit. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is due to red and green coconut chutney going bad next morning even if kept in fridge.

Mouthwatering food....especially the mutton rolls.....it is also good as their spices are ranged....some are spicy and some are mild.....Nice Dosa with Sambal too....I would recommend you to go there especially if you like South Indian food...

Always the Chutney provided with food is a spoilt one and many times Burnt Dosas are hidden in the takeaway container, and pass it on to customers. Please check your takeaway before you leave very clever tricksters

Worst food, flies in the shop, overprice, old oil used in cooking. If you have constipation please visit this wada shop, a very big puppoo and tummy problem is guranteed

I had a very bad experience today around 19:50 (06/06/17).I went to Wada express in Molison way. Cashier served one of the customers who came to store after me.customers and the man on the checkout were same community and they spoke same language and I was totally ignored. I spend more than 1/2 hour to be served. This is the worst experience I ever had in my life.
