Love the pies and pastries from here. Nice to have a hot pie on a cold day. Sandwiches always fresh. Cakes are yummy. Staff friendly.

This place is just fantastic, always a queue out of the shop . The Bread, rolls, cakes and pies are just the best. It is a must every time we visit Beaumaris. Best bakery on the island if not Wales.

Phoned to order sourdough loaves and all worked well Excellent service as I'm not yet a regular customer.

We visit this bakery every year, we had the steak and kidney pie and cream puffs, lots of filling in both absolutely gorgeous, we bought corn bread to try as well but we haven't tried that yet

Lady behind counter informed me this was a 5th generation bakery. It's easy to understand how this family-run bakery has stayed in business so long; astounding array of cakes, breads and pastries...and they actually taste as good as they look! Thank you so much, you lovely ladies and gentlemen! We saved ours as a reward after an arduous walk around Anglesey Barracks. What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. X

Bread and cakes were good but the lady who served us was really grumpy and rude. No need. No thank you. No interaction with me at all even though I placed a large order and was polite.

Popped in to here while is Beaumaris for the day, absolutely amazed at the price of items. £3.60 for two huge iced buns and a square of school cake. Nicest iced buns I’ve ever eaten, still yet to try the school cake. Will definitely be visiting here again in the future if I happen to be in Beaumaris again

Fantastic bakery, wouldn’t recommend if your on a diet. Always very busy which has to be a good sign. You are spoiled for choice. I would highly recommend a visit.

Super bakery visited twice whilst on holiday. Selection of freshly baked loaves was amazing. Chia loaf a fave. Delicious selection of cakes too. Freshly made filled rolls. All staff were lovely. Had a biscoff cruffin, which was superb.

Every time we are in Anglesey, we make a point of dropping in at this lovely corner bakery, and are always spoilt for choice! The staff are always full of smiles and welcoming, especially considering how patiently they are as we keep asking for this and that, our eyes are too big for our tummies lol! Amazing selection of freshly baked breads, staff offered to slice it as well, wonderful choice of savoury and sweet baked goods, all very generous portions. A must on the Isles !!

Incredible bakery! The cakes are beautiful so much choice and some take you right back to your childhood.

Great products on offer on the whole although some of the cakes get stale very quickly, tip is to buy on a Monday or you’ll be eating a brick. The bread lasted well, however. Some of the breads sell out very quickly so get there early. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but the person who seemed to be the owner was the rudest and most miserable person we came across in the town. Advice to her - stay in the back or be nice to your customers.

Stopped in on a daytrip. Had a great selection of breads. Best eccles cakes ever! Almond slice was good. Get there early to avoid disappointment!

Traditional family bakery in old town street. Perfect for our holiday providing several eat on a walk lunches. Great steak and gravy pies and Portuguese Custard Tarts. The coffee machine is good too.

Will miss our trips to Roberts bakery over the winter. Always spoiled for choice and lovely friendly staff. No matter if its bread, pastries or cakes you are after just join the cue by the door you wont be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Great choice of breads. I can highly recommend the sunflower and honey bread. Delicious. Very clean premises. Expect queues at lunchtime as only two people allowed in the shop due to COVID.

Due to COVID, only 2 customers are allowed in the shop at once, so we had to wait in a queue outside which probably took about 10 minutes. There was no menu to view during this time, and it was hard to look inside, so it would have probably helped speed things up if there was a menu outside to look at. This is just a minor query though. When we went in, the pies weren't labelled so we asked what was what and the staff were very helpful and showed us both the hot and cold pies. The coffee machine was cash only, but they added it on the bill and gave us the cash out of the till which was helpful. We ordered a cornish pasty, sausage roll, steak and kidney pie, carrot cake, diet coke and coffee. They also sell freshly baked bread loafs so we bought a cheese and onion loaf, which they offered to slice if we wanted.The pies were tasty, with crispy pasty, and nice and warm. The carrot cake was delicious and your standard yummy bakery carrot cake with icing. Overall it came to £10.15 which we thought was reasonable.If the weather permits, you can go and eat the food on the beach which is just a short walk from the bakery.

There was a constant queue outside when we were there, which is obviously a good sign!! (Not a long wait either as the staff are on the ball) The cheese and onion loaf is to die for 🤤

We stayed in the village for a weeks holiday with fresh bread every morning and cakes for dinner the staff were lovely and so friendly there was no rush when ordering thank you lady’s and we will be back next time thank you

This is a diamond of a place with fantastic, cheerful staff. The freshly cooked bread of all varieties is always delicious and consistent. The ham ♥️. The staff here have worked tirelessly throughout lock down supporting the local community. In recent weeks they have worked brilliantly within the Covid regulation to ensure safety within the tight confines of space.

We visited here after reading all the amazing reviews and I must say the food did not disappoint! We visited quite late in the day for lunch, around 1.30pm and bought a gorgeous selection of sausage rolls (to die for) and pies. The disappointment/annoying thing was that the staff were incredibly rude, shouting people in and out, rushing people, which I get due to covid rules. But it was hard to identify what the options were and was as if they just wanted to get rid of you as quickly as possible. We weren’t trying to flout rules or dawdle but it was not nice service at all.

No idea how this bakery has achieved such great ratings. Queued for 20 mins for lunch to be greeted by a very unpleasant staff member who initially shouted for me to get back (preventing me from looking at anything). No menu, no sandwiches and no alternatives. Pointed me at the tea machine which only took cash which at this time we are supposed to avoid. The food we did purchase was very bland and nothing special. Customer service dreadful and why there is no signage to inform out of stock to prevent ridiculous queueing is beyond me. Don't waste your time and money they don't deserve your custom.

Everything I tried from this bakery was delicious and I am sure if I was staying longer I would get through the entire range. Had to choose the cherry bakewell muffin for a second time - I think the best cake I have ever bought. Maybe it’s lucky I’m not staying longer!!

We bought the wholemeal and white loaves, tasted lovely. Stayed fresh for ages, and the pastries are simply divine. Each one a meal in itself. Very good value and kind staff.

Glad we found this little gem - fresh pies, cakes and breads everyday. An ideal way to put a quick tasty picnic together ready for a day out. There was usually a queue out of the door so make sure you go early! Lovely friendly staff.

I popped in for a loaf of bread, the previous reviews suggested I wouldn't be disappointed. I would like to offer six stars, as a local Bakery this excels, brilliant bread (I had a lovely Marmite and Cheese loaf and I HATE Marmite).Went in for a loaf and walked out with £9 of delights. Its a shame its not closer to home

Great little bakery, always friendly staff and a good selection of anything you would want. The hot pasty I had today was the best ever, completely filled with meat and potato and the pastry was delicious - definitely worth a visit

This little bakery has a huge selection of bread, pastries and cakes. We had a couple of the white and milk chocolate millionaire shortbreads. Wow!! Absolutely delicious!

This bakery has everything! It is just a short walk off the main street but is so easy to find. Once found you will wnat to go back for more. The bacon and sausage baps for breakfast were a most enjoyable treat.

This stunning bakery is not to be missed when visiting Anglesey. The range of products is extensive and everything tried was delicious: where to start?! A hot bacon bap for breakfast, a warm sausage roll for lunch and a huge jam doughnut for tea. Or try a pain au raisin, almond slice, tea cake, cream bun, bara brith loaf...not forgetting the outstanding specialist breads: chia seed, corn, cheese and red onion, Bavarian= carbs heaven!

By far the best bakery, amazing pies, cakes, breads all the produce we purchased was amazing. The portuguese tarts and the steak and mushy pea pie were a favourite. The staff are very friendly and offer great service.

Very friendly staff and quick service - iced buns, scones, Bakewell tarts and kids ‘monster’ biscuit highly recommended - great stuff and well worth the one minute walk off the high street!

After meaning to visit for some time I went and was not disappointed. You can buy the usual standard white bread which is excellent but why not try Honey & Spelt, Sourdough or even a Donker! It is all top class bread. Quality is guaranteed. You will go back for more - I did.

This a fantastic bakery. The bread, pies and pastries are just the best. Always have to join a line of customers but well worth the wait and it gives you time to choose what your having and with all on offer it is not an easy job. Stay away if you are on a diet, but I would recommend having a day off.

Staying just across the road in a BnB notice how busy this bakery shop was from morning to night constant customer calling by car & on foot. So just had to try. We where travelling out for the day so choose to purchase our picnic items from here. All the bakery goods were great but the raised pork pie was my heaven. £1.40 each.

We were recommended this little bakery by one of the kiosk guys by the harbour. I'm very glad we took his advise. Three of us had the turkey, cranberry and stuffing baps and one had a coronation chicken salad roll. All of them had plenty of very tasty filling.

We have had some lovely snacks from this bakery,the croissants at the hotel we stayed at come from this bakery and we brought pastries and bread back home with us when we left.

Everything from Central Bakery is fresh and delicious - it's like going back in time. The Eccles cakes are wonderful and make sure you try the corn bread... but you'll have to get there quickly before they sell out!

After killing time waiting for hubby to finish work came across this bakery, what a find bought several different breads all so tasty especially the Hovis can`t wait for my next visit to stock up.

I really wish I lived near to this bakery so I could use it regularly. Unfortunately I was only in Beaumaris for a couple of days.

We literally travel from Gaerwen to beaumaris via 2 buses just for the bread (we also buy sausage rolls and cakes too as we can't resist)

Found this bakery by chance best steak and ale pie I have ever had and only £2.10 , and even came with a lovely wooden folk, sausage rolls tasty too, will be back to visit soon

A brilliant traditional bakery selling hot sandwiches, pies, cakes and specialist bread. Very reasonable prices, so good we went twice in one day!

Had a fruit flapjack and fruit scones from the bakery. Both were delicious and would certainly return to sample more.

A hidden gem just off Beaumaris high street, an amazing selection of breads and sticky buns too :-) You will not find a better bakers on the island.

This is undoubtedly the best bakers on the isle of Anglesey, is worth going out of your way to visit, but if you want pasties go before noon

Visited again during our annual visit to Beaumaris and quality and value for money remains top class. Staff even remembered my postage stamp event last December and we'd remembered the excellent cakes, bread and pies to be found here which is a clear indication the continuing success of this local business.

Hidden a few streets back from the sea front, this bakery supplies bread to all the best places in town. Get there early to stock up on sandwiches, pasties, pies etc. Ideal for a seaside picnic.

If you like fresh bread and wholesome baked goods then this is the place for you. Opens at 08.00 and when I’m in Beaumaris I’m usually first in the door.The staff and goods are fab but don’t expect any chat unless you’re local because they are too busy. We always come here on our many visits

Was passing through and it was lunch time so I had a look round the area and stumbled across this bakery. Bought 2 pies one veggie for me and one meat for my significant other. They were so tasty after we finished them I went back in and bought 2 more and 3 loaves of bread and was not disappointed with any of them. The staff were chatty and friendly and I will be going back there as soon as I am within 20 miles of this place! Go try...you will not be disappointed. I am going for the cakes next time!

We bought pies, pasties, bread and cakes for lunch from Central Bakery. All of them were pretty good. Would definitely go back next time i'm in Beaumaris.

Cakes, bread and pastries to die for! Not for the calorie watchers but worth a slip up!!! I'm not a lover of sausage rolls but could live on theirs! Followed by a hard choice of cake!

I read about this place on Trip-advisor and thought I’d go in whilst we were out shopping. Once you go in the door it smells fantastic, it’s like bakers used to be in the past. It was late afternoon so there was very little left, we saw people coming out arms full of bread and cakes. We had pork pies, the were the best we’ve had in years and it was eaten before we got home.

If you don't visit this place, you're missing out. The pastries (both savory and sweet) are to die for. Everything I tried and had was delicious (sausage pie and an icing pastry). My only regret was that my stomach wasn't bigger and that I couldn't try more. And to boot...everything is super inexpensive. I felt guilty for paying so little for food that was so good. Please go.

Off the beaten track, but.. The best pork pie we have ever eaten. The best Danish pastry in a long time, and The best tiffin cake in a long time... We will be going back..

We visited Beaumaris for our summer holiday and discovered this wonderful bakery just around the corner from our holiday let and we were so glad we did!! Friendly, helpful staff, vast choice of artisan breads and pastries and the bread is to die for!! Beaumaris is so lucky to have this wonderful bakery, we wish we lived closer so we could buy our bread daily from Central Bakery!!

We stumbled upon this lovely bakery in the back streets of Beaumaris. We grabbed some morning pastries and they didn't disappointed, absolutely lovely. We went back for more! Worth seeking it out if you're in the area.

We were staying just around the corner for a week so an increase in weight was inevitable!! Pasties to die for,filled rolls of all types and cherry sponge which kept calling me back. By the end of the week we had tried most of the pies,pasties and cakes and they were all top notch as was the bread.The local people of Beaumaris must find it difficult to go on holiday,I know I would!!!

Found this fantastic bakery totally by luck but, the vast choice, friendly staff reminded me of my childhood when bakeries were like this, great tasting donuts, chia bread and a real treat what I call a proper “iced finger” all at great prices!

Food was very nice and priced very fairly. If your in beaumaris then go here and try the red velvet cake. Perfect

Took a while to find, but worth it. Was later in the afternoon so not a lot of choice left. Bought the chocolate brioche, oh my it was gorgeous! Yum !!

Visited each time went beaumaris , scones our favourite ;), kids loved sausage rolls and curry veg slices delucious . Pleasant friendly staff .

We found this place in one of the back streets of Beaumaris, having followed a sign on the high street. We bought hot sausage rolls and cake, a cheap picnic which we ate on the pier. Lovely to have some fresh and non prepackaged food as it seems that most bakeries in the area have closed.

We had some delicious bread and sandwiches from here. A very large range of all sorts of artisan loaves, very impressive. Very busy, and nice staff, though for some reason they did seem to get all flustered when asked to cut a sandwich in half - but they did do it eventually after I gave them all lots of smiles!!!

Called in for picnic lunch and came back half an hour later for more! Best pasty and sausage rolls in Wales and the best iced bun i have ever tasted. Took some corn bread home too which was lovely.

We came here as needed a bread for our picnic and didnt want to buy anything from a generic supermarket. We hit the lunchtime rush and there was a queue down the street....always a good sign. We bought various breads, cornish pasties and sweet treats. All were delicious esp the pasty..devine short crust crust. Highly recommend.

Just off the main street but well sign posted is the Central bakery. Wide choice of breads, pastries and cakes. We were walking the coast path so had the made up rolls and an eccles cake. it was so good we went back the next day. Very reasonably priced

Fantastic bread with a great variety. My favourite is chia. The service is always friendly and the bread is very competitively priced.

I was in Beaumaris prior to the start of a coastal path walk, and had a slice of their coffee walnut cake. I am a chocolate lover, but this cake was the most delicious cake I've ever tasted. As my friends and I walked and visited towns along the coastal path and later traveled in North and South Wales, I tried other versions of this cake. They were all good, but this was the winner. I'm now searching for a recipe to see if I can replicate it. I also had the "dinky pork pie" and it was also good - filled with meat so that a "dinky" portion was quite sufficient.

We were hiking the Coastal Trail and stopped in for a sandwich and snacks. You know it's a good bakery because the line was out the door on a Saturday morning. If you're looking for a great sandwich on bap bread - walk to the far right counter in the crammed bakery and select the beef and red onion bap. It was tasty and fresh - even after carrying it in our backpack all morning. The pastel de nata and chocolate croissant twist were dessert and just as yummy as the sandwich. You really can't go wrong in this bakery. Note: They're closed on Sundays.

We visited Roberts’ a few times during our weeks stay. The bread is device, the smell from the shop makes your mouth water and theirs is so much to choose from you really are spoilt for choice. The meats pies are delicious- just perfect for eating whilst sitting on a bench facing the sea. The almond slices are just delicious and the muffins are scrumptious. Good price too. Will definitely return.

Fantastic selection of variety of breads some that you will have never seen before. Pies are to die for amazing if you can get one before they sell out. Rolls cakes pastries off a very high quality. Never pass without getting something.

Meat and potato pies, yum, cant get them in Edinburgh. So I had one here and done in the freezer for later. Good selection of bread, rolls, savourys and cakes. A well stocked shop.

Tucked away down a back street, we found ourselves walking by this bakery, the smell was amazing! We decided to go in and what a place!
