Vujon spice in Sheffield

Previously I haved loved the food that Vujon Spice have delivered to me. This time I placed an order on their website and the order was confirmed. Nothing was delivered and when I contacted them over an hour kater they said they were only telephone orders today and that they did not control the website and I have to wait for a few days for my money back. Rubbish customer service.

Absolutely delicious. Just collected a curry from Vujon tonight and it was really delicious. The chicken was really well cooked and the flavours were just scrummy. Definitely our new favourite takeaway ❤️❤️❤️

The food is amazing fresh and hot and tasty every time we have it.

Generally the food is usually good but delivery is often over an hour and they've been getting worse lately, with our most recent order taking over 2 hours!! I think we'll be trying somewhere else when we're next in the mood for a curry, because over 2 hours is a joke.

Was hungry and just fancied a butter fish meal. Well well well, the butter fish was like it had 20 teaspoons of sugar put inside, it was basically diabetes but in a foil container. It was absolutely rotten, and I won’t be ordering from here again. I’m absolutely appalled by the amount of sweetness it had, was not able to eat it so unfortunately I had to throw the whole thing away. I wouldn’t even give this to a homeless person because that’s giving a death wish. Man who delivered was friendly but the food was absolutely disgusting and I’m not joking either, if you want diabetes then go ahead and eat it but this is one hell of a place and the chef doesn’t know how to cook. I think he must be on training or something because now I feel very sick and if I get food posining, I will be going to environmental health about this place because it has very disappointed me.

Unfortunately I have to give a 3-star review. I ordered a lamb korma from them last night, but found out too late that I was given a chicken tikka korma. This rarely happens that they get an order wrong, and in fairness, the food was still lovely! I would still recommend this takeaway, as even if you get the wrong order, your food will still taste good! Of course, I would rather have had a lamb korma as ordered, but I shall try again next time :)

Way, way too much salt. Sauces on meals so gloopy. Really awful. Even cauliflower side was covered with a salty layer of slime. Wasted my money.

⚠️ 2 HOURS, 40 MINUTES WAIT ⚠️ 👎 The longest we have ever waited for a food delivery! 👎 The website advised a free mixed kebab starter for online weekend orders over £25. We asked for a Vegetarian option instead but neither came. 👎 The garlic & cheese naan breads didn’t have any cheese on them. 👎 Phoned for an update twice. The first time we were wrongly told it would be 25 more minutes when it was still an hour away and the second time I was hung-up on. 👎 The food needed microwaving when it finally arrived.

They have delicious food. I tried the biryani lamb and with its that spice flavor, it's definitely a decent meal for the price I paid.

Food took a little while to arrive but I wouldn’t expect a good Indian to arrive quickly. The food was incredible the vindaloo was spicy and it had some great flavour my partner loved the korma and mushroom rice she said it was the best she’s ever had.

First time I have ordered from here , delivery was fast , food was hot on arrival and tastes spot on 👌 called to make some amendments to my order and the guy I spoke to was lovely, portions are big and received everything I ordered , defo recommend

Being stuck in the Princess royal spinal injury unit miles from home I thought I'd treat myself to a takeaway. It arrived earlier than estimated and was plentiful with loads of flavor, I might just have to treat myself again next Saturday 👍

Tikka masala curry was good, rice wasn't so good, would have given a 4 for the curry. Will definitely order again, tasty curries.

Sadly we ordered from here off deliveroo it’s estimated time of arrival was 20:45. Still an hour later it still haven’t arrived then they refused to give a refund.

Delicious would like a few more prawns in curry though but all tastes good.

Absolute disgrace dinner. Spent over £20 on this dinner which was ridiculously small amount and the worst quality I have ever experienced. The naan bread which was supposed to be stuffed with meat and sauce was plain and dry. The tika we ordered contained 4 small dry bits of meat and no sauce what so ever. Dry and not fresh rice. Never order from this place. Disgusting food and shame on the company.

Waited 1hour 40 minutes for delivery !!! Food got delivered cold, not surprisingly. It’s a real shame, because when microwaved the food itself was really nice.

We have ordered food from here several times now and the food is without fail amazing, however, their delivery service is absolutely terrible. It took 2 hours for our food to arrive last night and that was after a phone call to find out where it was. This has happened a couple of times before, they seem to wait until you call before sending your food out and quite frankly that is not good enough. If you offer a delivery service it should be with in a reasonable time scale. In summary, love the food, the guys are unfailingly polite when you call, but the delivery service is utterly rubbish.

The food is amazing (5 stars) however... First experience was a delivery order that was over an hour late. Several orders after that I picked up as I'm only half a mile away. I mentioned the delivery issue when I was last in and they suggested it was a one off and we should try again. OK. I've tried delivery again as I've had a hard day and am absolutely knackered . So guess what, it's now well over an hour late. I rang for an update 40 minutes ago and been promised first delivery when their driver comes back but still waiting. Why offer delivery if you literally can't deliver? Oh and by ordering via their website rather than an app there's no option to directly leave reviews. But there is Google reviews. My advice is pick it up or don't bother. UPDATE - Having just eaten the food I've updated the overall review to 3 stars. As always the food is amazing (5 stars) . They just need to manage customer expectations with realistic delivery times. I would have collected if I'd known.

Had a delicious fish tikka masala from chief Cook fareed. He made the best dinner with mix of all taste. It is halal. Will be coming back often. Highly recommended.

WOW. Had an amazing chef's special mixed curry. Was full of flavour and it was perfect. The saag allo side dish and mushroom rice complemented the dish well. Definitely going to go again!

Last week me and my partner had a begun bahar and a jal jhinga, it was beautiful. This week we had lamb tikka sag and a chicken tikka sag, again it was amazing. Also their pokora is to die for !

DO NOT ORDER! Where do i start firstly it took 1hour 35mins to arrive on a Thursday night. When the driver arrived he didn't know if we had paid or not as apparently he lost the ticket. I had ordered 5 popadoms but only got 2. Both curries were really bland and luke warm by the time it arrived. I can honestly say this is the 1st time ordering here and will be the last, one of the worst curries I've ever had.

It arrived quickly, the guy delivering was nice, every item was great. I'd forgotten to order poppadoms but found they'd put some in the bag anyway. Can't fault them. Really good.

Ordered food on Saturday evening they was super busy was told I would recieve my food in 40m8ns came in under 30mins .the food was amazing absolutely so so tasty had never tried food like this in sheffield before staff all helpful and even the driver was so polite ..I highly recommend this Indian take away . best food i have ever tasted .thankyou voujon spice was superb!

I ordered lamb madras, sag aloo and pilau rice via their website. Payment was easy, service delivered within five minutes of me turning up (they told me to give them half an hour as they were busy) and the food was z absolutely delicious. Five stars all round!

I wanted to try a new Indian restaurant and I guess I was lucky! Spot on as this restaurant so far has been amazing. One of the best chicken tikka massalas and nans I have had as a take away meal. Always coming back to more . :)

We ordered a takeaway for delivery. This is the first time we have ordered from Vujon Spice and did so because of the good reviews we had read. The delivery was late however it was worth the wait. We really enjoyed our food. My husband had Chicken Tikka Madras which he said was delicious. You could see the the spices in the sauce and the sauce was a nice consistency. My daughter had chicken pathia, she said that the quality of the chicken was good but the sauce was a bit too spicy for her. I had vegetable biryani which was also very tasty, at first I thought it didn't have much spice to it but the subtle spices came through the more I ate. There was a good variety of vegetables in the biryani. The two naan we ordered were really nice as well. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Everything was good apart from the curry sauce it was a bit to thin needs to be thicker as a new eatery there is room for improvementand if they get it right boom will be one of the best takeaways going this sideof sheffield

After reading the reviews here I thought I would give Vujon a try; the prices are really good, excellent value. The coconut rice was light and full of flavour, the shingara were big, well filled and full of flavour and spice, but there were a few niggles with my order. The bombay aloo didn't really have any flavour at all, which was a shame, the onion bhaji whilst looking crispy, was a bit soggy, and there was no red raj sauce with the pickle tray (my favourite one) The food was also a little cold, even though I only live around 5 minutes away in a car. Possibly just an of day, as all other reviews are flowing, so will probably try again in the future

What can I say? Yorkshire’s best kept secret. I don’t tend to order Indian takeaways these because everything tastes generic. However, the lockdown got me to give the Indian takeaway option another go. In hunting for a new regular spot, I stumbled across Vujon. Prices were great, staff were super friendly and accommodating to my dietary needs and most importantly the food was splendid and cooked to perfection. The chefs here clearly do not cut corners. I ordered a mixed grill and a lamb tikka shashlik bhuna as well as several naans. Some of the most tastiest, restaurant worthy food I’ve had in a long time. What’s more the bill was more than reasonable and I had enough for leftovers for the following days lunch. One of the best I’ve tried away from dining in.This will now be my new local Indian and I can’t wait to try more of their dishes especially the chefs specials. Worthy of all 5 stars. Give it a try!
