Vox Bar in Kirklees

Visited for the first time in a couple of years, great to see the place still doing what it does best. Great choice of drinks, friendly staff, clean and well priced. Will do my best to visit a little more often!

We are a group of Latin ladies that love having a good time and Vox staff are great! They always play Latin music when we visit and we dance all night! Great atmosphere and great service.

Laura was unbelievable the bar and the music is unbelievable. Very warm environment and all staff are wonderful Laura, G, Arlan and Lucas were all so welcoming and really helped us out when deciding on drinks. Laura even made us her custom BFG shot which is OUTSTANDING. i would 100% recommend this bar it is the best in Huddersfield.

I've never eaten here so can't comment on that. I think they do food can't be sure. It's got a great vibe. Most of the wall decor is music, rock, blues etc. When it's not it's booze. Fabulous beer selection. And if your into rum, here's your shack! Good spirits and cocktails etc. Wine limited (what I'm drinking right now, but good stuff). Sound track - ace. Highly recommended.

Good vibe but not keen on £5 minimum spend on card.

Apparently it is policy that you should get a 10% head on your pint here. Asked for a top up and he claimed that the word 'Pint' on the side of a brim measure glass is the line the beer should be poured to. Complete incompetence from the person in charge. He has missed out on repeat customer for the foreseeable future. Very rude staff member that doesn't understand the weights and measures act...

Fab, quirky and chilled bar, love the place! Never seems to be open these days, mad Friday 1pm, door closed 🤔 maybe it's jammed...

Quite pricey cocktails bar. Quite small seating can be difficult on a Friday or Saturday night.

Always used to like going in a few years back , so it was nice to visit for a drink Saturday night . Good atmosphere , very good music , and got served straight away , a nice pint also.. Will definitely be calling again.

Huddersfield is going down hill, VOX was nice and toilets clean service was quick and friendly and atmosphere was fine.

My boss took me and my colleagues here for work Christmas drinks and the staff were absolutely lovely. Place had a great vibe and the drinks were very well made and tasted great!

Drinks served quickly and professionally. Cocktails delicious and the music is tasteful and not so loud that your ears are ringing for days after! Staff friendly and helpful.

In here now, had two Great pints and then a third arrived, tasted like soap not right at all. My father told them twice it wasn't right. On the second they wouldn't have it and he had to fork out for another of what I'd been drinking, guess what the extra one he kindly bought tasted much better. They didn't refund or accept the beer was not right after I just had two pints of it. My father is adamant a different beer was pulled. Poor customer service from a regular.

Comfy friendly and they have the best cocktails ever. On top of that they actually have knowledge of everything on offer which is really rare.

Always loved this place, love the staff and the cocktails on offer. Also I'm a fan of their coconut lager, and yes I could probably buy it online, they sell it, so it's always something I look forward to whilst visiting

Went on a Friday evening before a game, welcoming beer bar, large range of beers to choose from including English trappist Tynt Meadow at a good price.

Great range of ales on tap and also loads of cans. Staff were really nice. Building is great and quite big ;just like a tardis...

Fabulous New Years Eve here. Laura who literally runs the bar is awesome! So lovely and so organised! She is amazing. The vibe is so relaxed and chilled here and we had the best New Years Eve chilling here.

What a splendid bar, somewhere i have always enjoyed visiting. An excellent range of drinks, including lager, draft, spirits ( lovely selection of rum) and cocktails. Very professional during lockdown.

Best Cocktails in Huddersfield. Always has a very chilled out atmosphere and great ambience. Pity covid is crushing that at the moment, but staff still as friendly as ever and you can now get cocktails to go. By Huddersfield standards it's on the higher end of the price range, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Not into cocktails? There is also an extensive lineup of craft beer from all around the world. Vox is always the end of a good night out in town.

In my view probably the best bar in Huddersfield. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a great range of beers, gins and cocktails enjoyed by customers of all ages.

The DJ was playing oldsmool hiphop, NYSushi style. The cocktail menu is vast. Shots were surprisingly delicious. Generally chill atmosphere with a cool crowd. Not too pricey either. Downstairs had some cool cartoon artwork that I want for my own house.

VOX bar on wood Street is really cool. Nice interior. The staff and customers are friendly. The selection of beers and rum is amazing.

Was a nice atmosphere, however it gets very busy and loud as the night goes on so conversation is difficult. However there is a good selection of beers and ales on offer and the prices are reasonable.
