Vodka Revolution Bar, Leeds in Leeds

Having done the brunch there twice before, I can’t say this was third time lucky. Just too tight and slow with the drinks. A party of 8 and after an initial two bottles of Prosecco spread down the table they wouldn’t give us any more, only by the glass and that was classed as a round. Been trying to think where else does this .. oh that’s it - NO WHERE! Half the time we were “dry” - I can only assume the drinks were been poured and carried down from the Wetherspoons as the place was dead, yet each round still took 25 minutes to arrive. Told we could get vodka and coke, yet the coke looked like it had been defrosted and squeezed from a Mr Freeze ice pop (the rola cola one that no-one likes) To give them their due, they were consistent in that the staff still walk past looking like they are on a stealth mission and excel in not giving any eye contact in the hopes you don’t ask them for anything 😂 I have already contacted them prior to me posting this for their answer and it just said that because it’s a two hour brunch they have a responsibility for people to drink responsibly. Not a “bottomless” brunch then is it.

Out with work friends. The service and drinks were fab, no complaint there at all. I ordered vegan brunch. So disappointing, one slice of sourdough with chopped tomatoes and avocado on. Hardly a brunch. Please please ramp up your vegan options, it’s not hard.

I recently attended a bottomless brunch with a large group, and it was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. We ordered nearly every meal on the brunch menu, and every single dish was underwhelming. The pizzas were especially bad, lacking cheese and any semblance of flavor. The service was equally poor. We had to constantly pester our waitress for drinks, which should not be the case at a "bottomless" brunch. The waitress was clearly unhappy to be there, which added to the negative atmosphere. To make matters worse, they didn't have any Pornstar Martinis available, which was the main reason we upgraded our drink package. This was a major letdown since it was the only drink some of our party wanted. This brunch was meant to be a celebration for a graduation, but it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to others. Avoid if you’re looking for good food, good service, or a good time.

I love Revolution for its great atmosphere and this one was no different. The drinks may be expensive but they are tasty!! Reasons for 3*: As usual the toilets aren’t great, usually unclean. Secondly there is a no vaping rule (totally get) but everyone vapes inside and even the waiting staff were vaping at times so that makes no sense.

Picture this, birthday weekend, out with great friends in Leeds, sounds like a dream, right? My trip to Electric Press was more like a nightmare. We were told that drinks were 2 for 1 buy a member of staff, only to be charged full price without explanation. Called the bar after realising their mistake only to be HUNG UP on. You have NOT heard the last of this.

Just been for lunch with work colleagues - what a waste of money. I ordered 'Fish Butty' in a wrap. When it came it was Fish Fingers which were very hard and Grey looking fish inside. When the waitress can to ask if everything was ok - I said no the fish fingers were very dry and the fish inside the fish fingers was grey - she just looked at me and smiled and said that's because I ordered them without the Tartar sauce. I told her it had nothing to do with not having the Tartar Sauce on them. She was totally disinterested and walked away - will not be coming back or recommending. My other colleagues had the chicken wrap & chicken burger and they commented that the wraps & burger were also dry!!! Worst lunch ever!!! and staff very ignorant!! Avoid!!!

First visit to this venue as familiar with the Rev brand, arrived around 3pm or so. Venue was quiet, it was a midweek afternoon I suppose and only a handful of tables occupied. ordered drinks from table via the app, drinks did seem to take unusually long time to arrive. 2 members of staff at end of bar seemingly busy with a laptop. We couldn't find garlic bread on the App for my daughter, so asked a waitress if garlic bread was currently unavailable, said she'd go check with kitchen, unfortunately she never returned to us and when she reappeared, began working at possibly a cutlery/condiment station. We decided to order our food, again via the App and continued to await drinks ordered previously. Decided to visit bar to check if App purchase had generated a drink order and also paid for some garlic bread at the bar to accompany the food we had previously ordered. Drinks duly arrived, food delivered just moments after. We did order a second drink which to be fair arrived in good time. Food was great in quality and value, the drink quality was good also and staff we interacted with very pleasant yet I'm left feeling my review has negative feel. I appreciate staff maybe use these quieter 'down' times to perhaps plan and prepare for busier periods but the customers in the building shouldn't maybe be taken for granted and shouldn't be chasing their own orders and menu queries. Possibly just a simple concentration issue but that said I would return to this venue and maybe it's just a little improvement on customer focus that would elevate this place into a really great Rev's

4 of us went to do a bottomless brunch and was brilliant from start to finish! very busy Saturday afternoon but was quality service. the other couple was running a bit late so held the table for 15 minutes for us while we waited. Once we got seated our waitress (Sasha I believe her name was) couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Drinks were great and food was good for what it is! Would really recommend.

Thank U Next Brunch - awful My friend and I went to the valentines bottomless to have a nice catch up but it was a total nightmare start to finish. When I arrived the table wasn’t ready yet so I got told to grab a drink at the bar (already another £10 on top of the brunch) after waiting about 15 mins, what I assume was a manager came over, apologised and gave us some free shots. After having a previous bad experience at this revs I thought because it was quiet and there was only 4 tables doing the brunch it would flow well. The girl running the floor the brunch took our order but after 20 mins we still had not got a single drink. The food came before our first drink arrived and we only had 3 drinks within the first 1hr and 20 mins. The food was awful - my friend got the chicken waffles and looked like tesco waffles with dehydrated chicken on top and my gluten free chicken burger sucked all of the water out of my body it was that dry on top of the extra £3 I had to pay for burnt fries. The poor girl trying to run the brunch had no help, was rushing behind the bar to make drinks herself and whoever the managers/supervisors were simply ignoring her and walking away. After getting frustrated our party plus another two tables asked to speak to the manager and complain. None of us were happy with the service and had essentially had enough. The manager came over, ignored every person speaking and wondered off with ‘ok’. The table next to us complained again after which he decided to discount the brunch for all of us. I was honestly gutted and disgusted at this managers behaviour. I was invited to the brunch via instagram, the least you can do is provide the service you are offering to customers. Honestly such a shame because I’ve been going to revs for years, I have friends that work there but he clearly couldn’t have cared less and neither could the venue.

Paid £60.00 for premium cocktail masterclass which didnt receive everything stated- games and vodka train. Absolutly devasated with no response to numerous emails that I've sent to them regarding what happened and how upset I was. This was for my Hen Party in which myself and friends paid an extautionate amount. Do not go if you want to recieve games or vodka train. Quite happy to take your money and not give the service in which was stated within the premium masterclass description!

My cousin booked us in here for a brunch for her sister in laws hen party .. we arrived on time and were shown to our table .. there was around 18 of us in our party and it was very busy .. payment was taken straight away and bottles of Prosecco brought to the table which we never ordered ..whilst we were enjoying this our drinks order was taken .. I ordered aperol spritz and a few others ordered cocktails .. the waitresses did a pretty good job at keeping us watered although some drinks were missed and wrong drinks brought out throughout and did seem quite panicked at times and seemed to be finding it hard to keep up with everyone not just our table .. the looks on their faces said it all but they did their best .. food was not great at all apart from the pizzas which were nice but the breakfast and chicken meals were all dried up and hard so a lot got left .. half an hour from the end one of the girls ordered cocktails and never got them they asked again and at the same time I tried to order some fizz for myself and my cousin and was told sorry but you can’t have any as you have already had loads on your table .. I was quite shocked as had only ordered one cocktail and had 3 glasses of fizz from one of the bottles they brought round when we first went in ..and my cousin only had 3 cocktails and a glass of fizz I explained that to her but got nowhere and she just walked off ..they then brought a tray with 6 aperol spritz that no one had ordered .. very badly organised and not good value if that’s what happens ..certainly wasn’t bottomless brunch for me or my cousin .

Unfortunately even though our server was a polite girl, you could see she had defeat written all over her face. We ordered drinks a few times and then the order would be forgotten, we'd then have to order again. A few times we had no drink of the table, which isn't exactly a bottomless concept. The issue is the bar staff couldn't keep up with the demand of bottomless brunch and the Christmas Saturday rush. I wouldn't come for brunch here again there are way better ones in Leeds!

An awful experience! I have often been to Revolution for brunch and have never received such appalling service. We were booked in for a bottomless brunch for 2 hours- in this time we only received 3 drinks, someone's food on the table came out later than everyone else's, the staff tried to get us to clear our table 15 minutes early as they needed it - obviously double booked. Staff were rude didn't even ask if we would mind moving early, it was getting told we had to. Spoke to manager about the issues and it was clear they weren't that bothered about the poor service.

Placed order for food and drinks, although limited choice as items greyed out on menu using app.. Food came ok. Not cutlery or napkins. Had ordered two cokes and cocktail at start of food order. No drinks provided before food served and even had to keep asking for drinks whilst eating food. Managed to finish food but left gasping for drink which eventually came when meal almost done. Waitress who hadn’t been there long most apologetic over service, but won’t be going back unless standards improve. Suggest to anyone going to order at bar rather than table.

Me and my partner went to Revolutions on the 18th of November and the bar area was pretty packed due to the bottomless brunch that was being offered but even though it was busy we were taken care by the wonderful Ruby May who not only offered friendly conversation but was also a delight to be around. She was polite and thoughtful despite with how busy it was. Couldn't ask for better even though we were moved due to a mistake but was compensated generously by the staff. Overall, couldn't ask for a better service overall by Ruby and the rest of the staff. Will be returning for the bottomless brunch next time.

Poor food experience. Ordered a sharing platter, came before my drinks were poured. The chicken was hard like it had been fried three times as were the onion rings

We booked afternoon tea and it was outstanding afternoon tea lovely mini cheeseburgers,cream cheese bites,chicken strips then small desserts,lovely staff,very nice place to eat,easy to get to from leeds train station 10mins walk,will be calling again thats for sure,lovely cocktails aswells.nice day out with my partner.

Been a long time since I’ve visited and was surprised how good it was. Admittedly it was quiet mid week lunch which may be made a difference. Food lovely. Service very good. Wine quite expensive but that’s expected in Leeds to be fair. Left full and happy

This was evenly paired with the tasty cocktails & meals we enjoyed.

Came for the bottomless brunch in a group of 5. Was served by Amy who was lovely. Really attentive and made sure our drinks were constantly reordered. Brilliant time fab brunch - the chicken and waffles was amazing 👏🏾 😋

11 of us came on 3rd June 23, for my Hen do, we booked for the cocktail masterclass and buffet, well what can I say it was absolutely amazing, the masterclass was hosted by Kieran, who was absolutely amazing, and did a fabulous job 100% complimentary drink was enough for us all to get a decent drink of at least 1/2 pint each which was also a lovely cocktail , I got a shot to drink also,then we all went behind the bar to make and drink our own cocktails x2 each, then we played a few games, how Kieran put up with us I never know but he was absolutely amazing we couldn't thank him enough for the brilliant masterclass thankyou again Kieran for an amazing day, the buffet was was lovely also, and the staff helpful, even the manager who I had a chat with was nice you dont often see managers in pub, All this for an amazing and well worth the £40 per person thankyou revolutions. Would 100% book it again we all enjoyed it .

Changed venue at the last minute, totally disorganised, started late, food awful. Was definitely not worth £45. Music good but that’s the only thing that was, they were still putting cutlery out when we arrived & everyone had to go up to the bar to get the drink for the bottomless brunch. Warm processco & they finished serving free drinks before the time was up. Absolute shamble’s & definitely NOT worth the money.

We visited on a very quiet Sunday afternoon, there no more than 3 other families in the entire restaurant, so we expected good quick service , food and drinks but what we experienced was sadly the complete opposite. 
We were informed on being seated that there was a 2 for £10 cocktail offer available so we ordered 2 of the same drink. Staff returned to tell us the first drink was out of stock, fine we ordered an alternative. Staff then returned again to tell us this one was not part of the offer, surely staff should have known that and saved us another 10 mins waiting for drinks , so finally settled on a third drink which should have been pink gin, lime and strawberries. 
What actually came was a glass of standard gin and lemonade , cup full of ice with a single slice of lemon (see photos) …nothing like the drinks in the menu and definitely not worth £9.50 each! The strawberry lemonades we ordered were a mess and the kids couldn’t even drink them so another £8 wasted. The sharing platter we ordered , according to the menu said it feeds 2-3 people but on arrival we only had 2 of everything, so clearly is actually created for 2 people and didn’t warrant a 35 minute wait. We tried ordering more drinks to replace the horrible lemonades for the children by asking two different members of staff but both failed to deliver anything until 5 mins before we were leaving so sadly more money went to waste. What should have been a nice family meal was awful and a complete waste of £50.

My partner and I were in desperate need of a hangover fix as we were recovering from the Westlife gig the night before. We were so glad to have found this venue. The young lady who served us was amazing. So friendly and gave us loads of advice on offers and deals. We opted for the Chicken Sandwich with skinny fries which was so tasty. Sadly we could not face an alcoholic drink as we were hanging lol. Awesome setvice and food - thank you again

We visited on a Saturday lunch time. We shared hummus and flatbread as a starter. I had bbq chicken and chips, my wife had the veggie chicken burger. Both meals were excellent. The venue had a stag party and a hen party there so be aware that it might get a bit loud later in the afternoons but it was fine when we were there. Great service and reasonable price. Nothing to complain about, we will be back next time we are in Leeds.

Visited here for a bottomless brunch. We have done the brunches at other venues in Leeds bit honestly none come close to here. As soon as our drinks were anywhere near low our amazing server was straight over taking another order. The food we had was fantastic also. We cannot compliment this place enough. Food, drink and staff all incredible!

This place has the best cocktails especially when they are buy 2 for £10! We were a table of 4 having 4 cocktails each. We shared different ones and we come here every time we are in Leeds. We sat outside for the first time this time and it was really nice. I would always suggest ordering cocktails at the bar as ordering online takes a lot longer to receive drinks! I would recommend coming here!
