Great place serving fantastic food. Impressed by the variety. Well presented. Obviously good choice of nice wines. We will go back when we are in London again. Highly recommended.

We were fortunate to discover Vins during the pandemic when we were staying nearby on a visit to London. We'd travel any distance for one of their marvelous meals! Vins is completely unpretentious, with a genuine love of incredible food and wine evident in every course. A dining experience we thoroughly enjoy.

Service staff was knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming! Lovely prawn and Avocado toast- speciality artisanal wines rounded out our meal so well. The ambience and community feel to the outdoor seating- just a perfect evening.

Lovely restaurant! Good food, charming location, intimate and nice vibe. Get lots of small plats to share with friends and amazing wines!

What a beautiful little find right outside Canonbury station. Cosy, ambient and oozing calmness, to top it off everything we tasted was as finger licking as the next 😅 From the padron peppers with yoghurt and sourdough with treacle butter (who knew such a thing existed) to the duck leg and frozen chocolate cake with cardamom (winner!!) there’s definitely a sweet taste left in my mouth. Vinny the owner is the dream, so attentive and welcoming and you’ll be wanting to return for the service alone! Vins is a perfect date night setting, and in the summer they have more seating outside, so head on down!

What a discovery! Vins was start to finish an amazing dining experience! Very relaxed, we sat outdoors. The service was impeccable with four courses of bliss. Each week is a new menu and all courses were out of this world delicious, prepared to perfection, with a great wine choice. We're so happy to have found and will be back! Heartily recommend!

The place only offers multi-courses menus (3 ore more courses) set at a fairly high price. The starter is pre-selected and includes some pickles which seem freshly extracted from a Tesco jar. The rest is average, the price completely unjustified. Will not return

lovely local restaurant with fantastic fresh pasta and great wines to choose from. We have also been using the takeaway service during lockdown, and the food has been just as good and reasonable priced too.

Never had a bad meal never had a late delivery always the best service and food use it so we never lose it folks 😎

Taken me 2 years to get there even though I live locally. My mistake. Wonderful place. Short rib of beef could have been eaten with a spoon. So tasty. Wine list is truly interesting. We had an Alsatian Pinot Noir. Fantastic wine. Lovely atmosphere and a very helpful owner who is front of house. Can't wait to go there again, especially next summer for their tables out front. But I shall be there to cure lockdown blues well before then.

Second time ordering from here tonight and somehow it was even better than the first time!! As well as the fish and chips being again absolutely amazing (definitely by far the best we've ever had) the kebab meat was gorgeous! 😍 Cheesy garlic bread was perfect, not coated in grease and oil like most places tend to be and actually tasted garlicky! The lass behind the counter was amazing too, actually took the time to cater to requests, went above and beyond to help and gave a few cheeky extras as well which was dead canny!! Mars bars, cannot rate highly enough although could just be because I'm fat. 😂 Definitely our go to takeaway shop now. 💯 Thanks again!! ⭐️

First time ordering from here and have to say, wasn't too sure after reading some of the reviews. Glad I did though because wow. I normally get fish and chips at gills, but safe to say this is my new go to takeaway place. Better quality than gills at a quarter of the price! Beautiful, white, flaky fish and perfectly bubbly batter. Proper chippy chips and as a cheeky treat, the fried mars bars are out of this world. Awesome food, friendly staff and super great value. What more could you want?? 🐟🍟🍫

Wine was lovely but unfortunately the food was disappointing. We had the 3 courses (antipasto, pasta, and shared cheese and desert) and left hungry which is unfortunate considering I’m a small female. The waiter assured us the pasta dish would be changed to a main size (rather than “primi”) - it was tiny. I’m sorry but if a three course meal is £36 I expect to leave full and I could have gone home and eaten a toastie! It has a great atmosphere with nice wine; but I can’t justify the £36 set menu considering the meagre amount of food served.

We have had the £10 meal deal a few times but unfortunately the one we had today had an awful taste especially the pineapple on the burger and The chips looked lush but where chewy. Overall very disappointing

I ordered normal chicken on my wrap however ended up with tandoori was not willing to ring up and order or get it swapped so just ate it but in future would like what I order. Thank you

Once again, the food, staff and service were perfect, the meal was outstanding and as the Mighty Leeds United were crowned Champions, a good neet was had by all.

Sorry everyone this restaurant has learned nothing of the Covid 19 crisis! Hugely expensive cheapest wine a £37 fizzy muscadet - yuck! Food really poor overpriced. This restaurant is a rip off, thinks it's West End but no where near it, what a cheek, terrible. It was a horrible experience in a very unglamorous area, it will close within a year!!!

Nearly 40 minutes late the fish was soggy the food just warm

The food was so bad the fish was over cooked the batter on it was over cooked the onion rings where swimming in oil the lot went in the bin

The scampi wasnt even scampi it was fish rolled up and we couldnt eat them as they had no flavour to them.

Food was awful. The taste of the chips were disgusting and bun was stale. The jumbo sausage was soggy and the gravy had onions in which was not stated on the app. Won't be returning back to Kevin's takeaway. I've had a nice chicken breast previously however the meal I was delivered tonight was awful.

Just popped in here on a whim last week - so glad we did! Total hidden gem - gorgeous food, carefully curated wine and hosted by the most fabulous chap! So good we’re heading back with friends this weekend.

I love this place so much! The owner couldn’t be a nicer person. It also manages to combine a neighbourhood restaurant feel with sophistication. The wines and the food are always top notch, the service is friendly and the location is perfect - right next to Canonbury station. Thanks for being brilliant!

Ordered a chicken burger with mayo and salad, chicken was dry, bun was hard, about 6 strands of lettuce and no mayo, chips were also drenched in oil.

Never again! The food is OK but when it was 15 mins late I rang, to be told the guy was on his way out the door with my order. Watch out - porkie alert! It took another 25 mins to arrive, even though they are just 5 mins down the road, and when it arrived the food was hot - so obviously they'd messed up and forgotten the order altogether. The guy said they were busy - yet there are plenty of others who are just as busy but can still deliver on time, so I'll be going to them in future.

On the positives, the chips and fish were lovely, and they even sent the bottle of vinegar I asked for However, not sure why there was a garlic bread (with fish and chips) which was cold, and the scampi wasn’t scampi, it was a prawn tasting paste in batter which wasn’t eaten

Just the perfect place for a great night of food and wine. Menu changes regularly but has something for everyone. Very fresh ingredients and great portions considering the cost! The service is friendly and relaxed. I just love it here. Right by the tube station so easy for travel too

Garlic sauce is minging chips taste like they are cooked with gone off potatoes cheesy garlic bread is rock hard I could knock someone out with it. This is the third time in a month I have ordered from different restaurants off just eat and every single one off them has been abysmal. Lost a customer now never again

Fantastic find. Wonderful food -- great meats, excellent fishes and superb starters and deserts. And even though the wine is "natural", the three wines we had were all outstanding. Not in an area full of restaurants -- but literally 30 seconds from the train station, so super easy to find and visit. So even though it's not in Hampstead or Islington or Queens Park, it's incredibly easy to get to ... and we're lucky that we can therefore treat this Canonbury as a "local" place even if on paper it may not seem so. We will be back (especially once they add a great chocolate desert)

Got 10 inch kababpizza with axtra meat which I paid for pizza was that thin it would have fit in an everlope no meat on no very little cheese so shocked how thin pizza was withe ta topping won't be going there again very poor quality

Nice size chicken wasn't chicken tikka and there was hardly any chips kabab meat was OK but the garlic sauce was absolutely disgusting so ended up in the bin highly disappointed

Kebab meat decent, chilli sauce decent. Everything else was vile! Pizza undercooked, parmesan was horrific - looked deep fried to a crisp - never seen one so greasy! Garlic sauce was a joke, no taste - basically mayo mixed with water!

Food was hot but bad standard. Chips were hard and over cooked, everything was sloppy and garlic sauce was watered down. Sort it out Kevin.

Lovely food as always but are you trying to kill me? Lol, I took a bite of my pizza and a huge (and rather sharp) chicken bone got lodged in my mouth vertically and I struggled to get it out, after I had removed it and calmed down I finished my pizza but was a LOT more careful.

Delivery time was on time by the app but I per ordered this and the delivery time was waaaaay over 45 for a kebab and pizza. The kebab was beautiful maybe abit more garlic but lovely it was the pizza that REALLY let it down as it wasn’t cooked 😖 it was still dough in the base but semi cooked on the top. Value for money if it was all cooked.

Usually order from here all time, but tonight it was awful the chips we're rock hard, the gravy was lumpy and all together it was stone cold, also didn't receive my pop that I paid for either!!

pizza was fine however the kids desert pizza was burnt even to the point black chunks where it was burnt spread in the chocolate kids wouldn’t eat.. we ordered Diet Coke but instead I was given cheap Barr coke and barr lemonade.. common courtesy you should have rang to ask if this was ok or not.. my contact details are correct. I would have refused the cheap pop.. 1hr 20mimutes for delivery would have expected better service and better food.. won’t use you again!!

amazing food definitely go back again

First of all they had no mince pies so had to give us something different in place then forgot pop and sauces and said they couldn’t deliver them for over another hour when the food had already took almost 2 hours. Avoid!

Can't believe I'm writing this, what has happened to the chicken, it leaves the most horrible taste in your mouth, its way too spicy. Bring back the old chicken for the wraps! Sorry but you lost a customer today!

Dissatisfied pizza not as advertised missing ingredients and discontinued ingredients no related information shown on menu surly if a item has been removed it should state. Rang to complain about issues to be told that’s why they put salamia on which was already apart of the pizza and that she would inform manager as all she does is work there. So Kevin’s speacial pizza had missin ham, capers and garlic sausage. The garlic sausage has been removed from menu and hasn’t been updated. So now I’m put off my food and won’t be eating as not what I wanted. Cheers!!! What’s so speacial about it the invisible ingredients!

well, we were given the wrong ice cream flavor, the pizza we ordered that was supposed to be plain has cheese on it so overall quite poor.
