Wonderful restaurant food amazing and staff are lovely and cannot fault anything. Going again next month September 👏❤️❤️

Really tasty food which was freshly cooked. Staff were very helpful and quick to assist. Only real downside is the parking is limited but plenty of parking in the local area.

Went in to order takeaway. It was a Wednesday evening 6pm. Ordered sweet n sour chicken with fried rice. Only took about 8 minutes, which should have set alarm bells going. Got home 5 mins later to sit down to eat it & it was horrible. The chicken inside the batter was tough & the sauce was gloopy. I only ate about a quarter. So disappointed. Tastes like yesterdays that was put in the microwave. I won’t be going there again . Sorry I dont like leaving negative feedback but I didn’t find one good thing to say about it.

Ordered a takeaway having read the good reviews and having not been to/ordered from the Vineyard in a few years. Was very impressed, hot, fresh and tasty takeaway food.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I ended up having the seabass, which came out whole and then the bones were removed at the table. So tasty. And the prices are excellent for the standard of food you're getting. My husband and I had a mixed sharer starter which was also lovely. I think the beef satay was my favourite. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Had read that had changed hands this year so decided to dine in to see how it fared.. we were absolutely delighted with our meals, the starters were excellent (vegetable spring rolls and prawn toast) there was so much! We had sweet and sour chicken and chicken satay and it was delicious! So impressed with the service too, the staff were attentive and we had a thoroughly good evening. We highly recommend this place.

2023 review: This place has changed hands again! And now it's excellent again 😁 The chowmein is particularly good 🤌 and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. 2021 review: We've been going to this restaurant for years and it has always been amazing, but I think it recently changed management or something and now the food is completely different. The yuk sung now tastes of butter and the other dishes weren't as good as they were either 😞 Previous review: Fantastic! Great food, and loads of it. The starters of Yuk sung and sack pancakes were particularly tasty. Highly recommended.

Had a beef curry xtra hot xtra garlic.was told they don't do garlic. Food was quick and hot but very average.go again no.

Decided to dine here on the basis of previous reviews. Sadly the menu was uninspiring and the food very ordinary and overpriced. We’d spent the weekend in the Telford area and this was definitely the disappointment of the weekend

The Vineyard has been under new management since March 2023 so we thought we'd give it a try We went for a family meal for eight people on 17 April. We were greeted and shown to a round table as I had requested. As we had a lot of catching up to do, we were quite slow at placing our order, but at no time did we feel hurried. We settled on 3 of the sharing platter starters with some salt and pepper chicken wings as well. All items were beautifully cooked and very tasty and nothing went back into the kitchen. We had a variety of main courses including; Sweet and sour chicken, tofu and pork, chicken chow main, chicken curry with a variety of rice dishes. The portions were very generous and again it was very tasty. The service was excellent with additional drinks ordered without us feeling hassled. All in all it was a great night with all of us complementing the food and the service and it came in at a good price of around £25 per head for two courses, coffees and drinks. We will definitely be returning.

Nice clean seating area, lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff & the food was delicious on every course. Nothing was too much trouble & we felt so happy & relaxed. Saw the star rating was good for here..so thought ill give it a try! And have to say the food is terrible. The fried squid tasting like its been spat on and mircowaved.. i will never order from there again

Ordered a takeaway which was supposed to take 40 minutes, 2 hours later I'm still waiting! I can't get through on the phone and have had an automated reply to my Facebook message so I've given up now. Really disappointed, will not be ordering from here again ☹️

This place took nearly 2 hours to deliver our food. The chicken curry was watery and bland. Bbq sauce was the same. The Singapore chowmaen was also bland and spiceless. The prawn crackers were like rubber. Really was a waste of £40. I expect more from a resterant as i could have done a better job by getting a Chinese value box from asda. Give a wide berth

Very warm welcome, lovely food and excellent service, food was piping hot and decent portions, not much to look at from outside I admit but glad I gave it a go, clean all round. Would recommend 👍

Food and dining in experience was excellent. Really great service and food was really tasty. My suggestion is the building and signage really needs a facelift. The outside looks quite old and run down which is uninviting and certainly doesn’t reflect the high standard of food and experience inside!

Really enjoyed, services was excellent..

Very tasty dishes, large portions and served with a "love the custoner" attitude. However the superb food came out of the kitchen on cold plates which meant the food soon became cold too. We did tell the busy waitress and she apologised but more importantly she relayed that to the chef. Let's hope others commented too and the practice is changed. Can't knock the quality if the dishes though hence the 4 star review.

The atmosphere and food were good. We liked the Pork yuk sung and Singapore vermicelli. The staff service was most impressive. Will return from time to time.

Went for a family occasion. Had an array of different dishes all of which were lovely. They were placed in the centre of the table top on a rotatable stand so it was easy to access them all. The cost was reasonable and the surroundings were clean, tidy and nice. The restaurant had ample free parking and I would deinatly go there again.

A seeming rare quantity nowadays, a Chinese/Cantonese that is actually a restaurant and not just a takeaway. Food was very nice, typical fare. Unusually, we plumped for a set menu as it had excellent variety and very generous portions for £25 per person; starters of spring rolls, sesame prawn toast, wontons, spare ribs, satay chicken skewers, 'sea weed' and duck pancakes, followed by mains of sizzling black bean beef, king prawns and cashew nuts, chicken satay, pork sweet and sour accompanied with a special fried rice. Staff were pleasant, helpful and attentive. Decor is nothing to write home about and a bit old fashioned, but it was clean and tidy. The only real issue was that it was a little bit too cold to be comfortable to sit in a reasonably thick polo shirt, so you might want to take a jumper.

Time for a quick update following our recent visit here for a family meal. Well, something has changed, this WAS a very good restaurant for a meal, but since my last review, the quality and flavour of the food has gone down dramatically, and the range of meals has reduced as well. Won't be back in a hurry, plus following a very low hygiene rating from the local council. On the plus side, the service was excellent, so that's reasonable for 2 stars! Had a couple of takeaways from here now. Whilst it's not the cheapest, the food is superb and highly recommended. Will definitely revisit and probably eat in next time. Time for a quick update.... Visited here for a family dinner on a Saturday evening, and I was most impressed with the food and the level of service. Most definitely worth a visit if you love Chinese food. All very well presented and very flavorful.

Not bad but not amazing. It's run of the mill. Pleasant staff and good quality food but lacking imagination and flair. Prices reasonable, service very good. Cannot honestly say it was bad but cannot honestly say it was the best Chinese I have had. Will probably go back at some point in the future and resample.

Had a really great take away from here via Foodhub. It was great to see a really expansive menu, with a lot of choices you don't normally see available at other Chinese restaurants/take away. The food was hot and so tasty. It is some of the nicest orange chicken we have ever had! This will now be our go to for a good Chinese!

Ordered from here Via just eat... food arrived piping hot and very tasty cannot fault the food .what I will fault is the delivery driver rang today she was outside flats 34-48 I said well you are way out from my address! She arrived pressed buzzer I let her in then she pressed again this time she entered she basically said that they should not be delivering to flats because of covid I was like really!! Well feed this back if you dont customers from flats then take the street of just eat and the restaurant very rude so maybe we will never order again even tho the food was 10/10!! Unhappy customer and every rude delivery driver

Tried this place for the first time, and wow are they delicious. Really great options for non meat eaters. Definitely excited to order again!

Takeaway: delivery was quick, missing seaweed off order, chips wasn't completely cooked food arrived quick but wasnt the hottest, the sweet and sour sauce tasted like plastic, BBQ ribs very dry, curry sauce was like chip shop sauce, wontons basically had no filling, food very bland, definitely will not be returning.

We have never had a bad meal here. Service is always polite and friendly from all the staff. It was very busy which shows you how popular the place is. You definitely need to book if you want a table. Lots of people ordering take away also. The food was lovely and reasonably priced also. Not much more than an actual takeaway. Would definitely recommend.

Good food quite pricey and cool in the place in which your sitting

We went there to have dinner but they told us that due to CoVID-19, they would not open the restaurant for indoor dining until next month. Therefore, at the moment they only do takeaway and pick up orders made by phone. The girl who served us was super friendly and even gave us a bottle of beer as a gift. The food was very delicious and was prepared in 15 minutes.
