I had booked a table for 7.30 pm for the 15th August a full month before to ensure we could dine here for our anniversary. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no table waiting for us ..the couldn't be bothered in reserving one even though we had pre booked. We were told to go next door to have a drink and they would call us when there was one free. Nearly half an hour later we said forget it and went to the lovely Tapas restaurant just up the road. I would never bother with this excuse of a restaurant again...they are totally unreliable. Avoid !!

Having read one of the reviews where the author claims he paid over the top I thought I’d add my review. I’ve never been over charged and the prices are fair for the quality of the food. This gentleman obviously can’t read as it’s pretty obvious he had 2 course, one being the starter platter and the second being his curry & rice. The restaurant even itemised this for him in a hand written bill. Hey ho, you can’t fix stupid. It won’t be putting me of going again and again as the food is out of this world.

Food here was outstanding, lovely little restaurant, friendly and chatty staff. Nicely decorated, calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, freshly made, the spice was flavoursome, a little heat but not overpowering. Plenty of meat in both of our dishes.

Please be aware of unpleasant and unfair business practices in that restaurant, as your dinner might be expensive. The service and food are astonishing, I must admit. Nevertheless, please refer to the pictures below. The restaurant (only on Saturdays) offers a mandatory minimum of two-course orders per person. In our case, we had three mains + rice for 121 quid, which is ridiculously expensive!!! Of course, in regular circumstances, in Mayfair, London or if you have specific reasons to support Surree's kitchen, it's no problem at all. But the issue is that you will be advised to have a main course (as a 1st course) and a side course (as a 2nd course). Please do not be as stupid as we were, and order at least two mains or main + dessert to justify your dinner, which will cost you £34.95 + 10% tips.

Regular visitor for several years and had always left 5 star reviews but really disappointed this time, especially on a special birthday. Ordered pad Thai, as we were told we could have it with tofu, but it came plain, just noodles, no tofu. We politely raised it with a member of staff, who checked in the kitchen and the answer was that they had no tofu - nothing else was offered, no apology. Raised it again on collection of plates having left most of the noodles as they were plain, tastless, and politely suggested perhaps a complimentary dessert (which with the three course price would mean a small £3 discount) it was a request out of principle. Answer back from the kitchen was No. To say we were flabbergasted is an understatement. They even had the audacity to charge the 10% tip - which actually we did pay as I didn't want to penalise the staff when it was the chef who did such a poor job with the food and was so rude in making no effort to rectify the issue. They even charge an extra £1 to have fried rice rather than boiled rice - although some guests seem to get this for free..depends on who you are. The food itself is ok. Even without the awful pad thai, it is not worth £38 for three courses - you are paying for the view ultimately We visit 3 times a year but won't be going back in a hurry and I would think twice before spending alot of money there.

Exceptional food, fresh with plenty of flavours. Menu small compared with other places but wow! The food was fantastic. 'I'll be back' as the saying goes

Tried this small place after finding the adjacent restaurant all booked. I will upfront my complaints: the menu advertised an 18£ meal but when we sat down we found that an alternate £33/38 (!) prix fixe menu was in place. Upon checking again after the meal I did notice that the displayed menu was for a Thursday, so the prix fixe must be for weekends. I consider this somewhat deceptive advertising. This price fixe menu only includes appetizer and dessert if you go with the 38 option. No matter how good the food I just can't really justify a 30 dollar pad Thai. In addition, the space is also somewhat small (I was seated almost blocking the entryway). That being said we ordered the massaman beef curry, pad Thai and crispy chicken and all the food was very good. I feel bad since it seems the owner/chef has put a lot of time and skill into their menu. Perhaps they are being overcharged for their location and have to pass it on? As is I can only give a 3/5.

We were recommended to Suree's Kitchen from a friend,we turned up at 8pm on time,oh my word we have never been treated so badly,member of staff called Jo was so so rude,we walked out of the restaurant, Such a shame because it was booked for my daughters birthday

What a lovely tasty meal to end the day in Ironbridge.

Well I was really looking forward to this but overall it was really disappointing. The food was overall average vs price tag. I travel a lot to Easter Asia and eaten better for a lot less. The place is small and packed with tables so quite noisy as everyone is talking over each other. The service is nothing special either, not sure what it is with servers these days but it's a no-no to stack plates on table in f ont of customer, the basics should be there... Definitely will not go back

Probably one of the best Thai meals I've had in a very long time. Small restaurant, not that many covers - just done properly. The food is next level, try the deep fried dessert 🍨!!

Excellent food with friendly service and great attention to detail

An amazing little place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is top notch. I cannot recommend here highly enough. We will definitely be visiting again. The prawn toast, slow cooked beef massaman and the fried ice cream were exceptional. The spices in the crispy pork belly were really well balanced with the flavors, it was delicious and the satay chicken was the best I have tasted in a long time.

Just had a delicious meal here, well worth booking as not open every night and is popular. Great friendly service and great food

Outstanding food, service and presentation. You’ll almost certainly need to book in advance as the restaurant only seats a maximum of around 22. The menu is varied with around 5 or 6 options for each course, some spicy enough to get your lips tingling and others with no heat but great flavour. The service is friendly and prompt and the food is presented to a high standard. The food itself is superb - some of the best I’ve ever eaten, great flavours with the perfect portion sizes that leave you wanting more whilst still being satisfied. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Had an amazing evening last night (Friday 4 November), beautiful food & excellent service, Suree cooks incredibly lovely food, and the lady front of house serving everyone was excellent! 10 stars ⭐️

Very friendly and helpful staff. The menu was not extensive and you had to order a minimum of 2 courses but that wasn't difficult. We shared fragrant and juicy satay chicken, and crispy gently spicy vegetable pakora. We could have ordered those again they were so delicious. Main course was beef massaman that was tender and delicately spiced and stir fry chicken, ginger and chilli dish which had a good kick of chilli and a sweet sauce. Fabulous, one of thd best Thai meals I've had in the UK.. Good size portions and well priced. Highly recommend the restaurant.

The most beautiful food we've ever tasted in a gorgeous spot overlooking the river in Ironbridge. Suree and her team are very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that everything is perfect. Amazing!

What a fabulous meal this evening, we had been talking about booking a table for some time and wished we hadn’t waited so long It’s a small intimate dining area with lovely views over the river The menus was small but a perfect mixture to choose from and the service was very good and friendly Everything we had was lovely and finished off with the deep fried ice cream - we even booked a table for next month before we left and look forward to choosing different dishes You are really missing out by not visiting

Really tasty. Limited choice on the menu but covering a good range of options. Everything we had was excellent - well cooked and with well-balanced flavours. Service was impeccable and prices reasonable. Strongly recommended.

Very disappointing experience. Starters were good, well prepared and tasty but despite asking for mild, all dipping sauces were over spiced. The main meals were awful. Massaman with a tomato flavour and whole cherry tomatoes in it! Very little sauce and one meal had a split sauce with oil floating on the top. At £18.95 for a curry without sides, it was very poor value for money. We were also told if chips were wanted they had to be ordered at the time of booking, which presumably means nothing is cooked fresh. No Covid measures in place other than wiping tables. Too many tables in a very small room, very crowded once all tables had filled up. Definitely won’t be going back.

What a stunning find. A gem of a restaurant. Had such a wonderful meal & dining experience here we booked to go back the next night too. The menu does not have a huge range of meals, but concentrates on doing fewer selections very, very well indeed. Don't get me wrong, there's enough here to provide a good range of choice in their menu and all of it lovingly prepared and served. Somewhat of a surprise Suree's kitchen have a partnership with the gastro-pub next door enabling you to have a wider choice of drinks too ... Nice touch. The food is fresh, vibrant and impeccably well cooked. I love Thai food and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Roasted belly-pork was heavenly ... also, I've never had deep fried ice-cream before .... what a treat! Light flavoursome and great ending to a meal. Many dishes contain items that could cause allergies, but the staff ensured this was taken care of.... including a blueberry tart ( not on the menu) made especially .... thanks team, its rate to find such kindness when dining out - this was definitely going an extra mile. Unfortunately I don't live locally, but need to find additional excuses to revisit. Overall I'd rate Suree's Kitchen a 10 out of 5 if I could.

We were very excited first timers to Suree's in Ironbridge. Cosy restaurant and super friendly, helpful staff. Not a huge menu but sufficient to make the choices difficult. The food was amazing, every course a delight. A truly authentic Thai meal beautifully presented. This will be the first of many visits I feel! Thank you! 🤩

I went to suree kitchen last night. With my friend. We both had lovely evening.we had a relaxed evening enjoying the excellent food that suree had cooked for us..i had pad Thai that was so lovely. I could of eaten it again. Suree is a wonderful person. And best Thai chef in Shropshire. I would recommend it to anyone to go if you love Thai food. Thank you for lovely evening and food suree
