Had a cob here very nice, always pop in if im around Blackheath, proper random locals in there but the old saying 'salt of the earth' springs to mind. Great atmosphere evertime we go in, normally around midday, staff are friendly and welcoming, kids welcome too. Nice beer garden also .

Went for a friend's birthday, they layed on a good spread with music, a good night out

Best pub in Rowley let alone black heath.

Avoid this place! Was visiting the area from Birmingham and fancied a nice cold pint in what looks a nice beer garden. Pub looks alright from the front, decent inside and nice out back, but you're made to feel unwelcome from the minute you step in! Went in the front bar and was stared at like was from another planet and didn't belong and pretty got the same reception in the back bar particularly by cavemen types hanging around the bar like a bad smell which makes it harder for you to get a good enough look at what drink you want to order. Service was non-existent too! Ended up walking out due to the lack of service and hostility and stares. Not sure if they only cater to locals and Black Country folk or not, but I wouldn't recommend coming here unfortunately.

The vine Blackheath is a proper boozer. If you're a decent person, a warm welcome awaits you, and you will come back again. If you're not, you will not be served. Which is why it's full of good people. Respect to Nicky and Gee. And just to update, it's still the best boozer in blackheath. I know this as I were there just now. Love and respect, Big Andy. Very friendly pub good service your made welcome I would highly recommend.

Nicky and the team are great hosts. Always doing what they can to bring in the customers and make them happy. Tuesdays from 12, Wednesdays from 12 and all day and night Saturdays are the best.

Been few times now and the atmosphere is so welcoming after noon or night great little place

First time I ever went their to meet up with friends. And got to say really enjoyed it staff friendly cheap drinks locals friendly can't fault the place will return in the future

Well deserved refurb and it's definitely put the pub back on the spotlight and what a superb team they have working behind the bar, very friendly and welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble for them, They're always smiling, laughing and interacting with customers. Very warm, cosy and homely feeling. Had many good days and nights here. Entertainment every weekend, drinks offers and raffles. Children welcome but have to be out at a certain time. (19:00 I think) Freshly homemade cobs 😍

Paid £50 to use function room, let them keep the money too! The staff were rude!! They chucked away alcoholic drinks because the people they served was apparently underage when they wasn’t hence why they served them!! They was disgusting!! The toilets stunk!!! The baby changing mat was minging!!!!I had to put something down to put my child on!! The beer garden always has the doors open which means smoke is going in toilets!! Where I was changing my baby!!!!! Yah pub is vile! The staff are vile!! Hence why we let you keep the money cos ur clearly hard up, need it👌

Dirty stinky messy pub that has staff with horrible attitudes and treated customers disrespectfully, and the toilets were disgusting and the pub had no heating at all. Also accused customers of being underaged but they still served them and then took drinks off them? Some common advice is to not go here :) !!

The vine is Great dog friendly pub offering a pleasant atmosphere good selection of drinks. And a reasonable selection of pub grub.

Very friendly staff and owner. Very accommodating when I have been in with work. Large and spacious interior. Menu is good you can get toasties hot dogs and burgers.

They play rock music which is great and the owners are down to earth.

We often meetup at The Vine. We receive a friendly welcome and a great pint. Just love this place. With a great atmosphere it's cirtainly one of my favourite places to visit.

Grate boozer, friendly staff especially Paul ( a big cuddly bear ) foods grate very well priced, an excellent range of drinks. Cocktails are amazing can’t wait to visit again.

Popped in there for a quick drink everyone was so friendly beer is the best beer in Blackheath now its the only place I drink the atmosphere is great and the staff always make you feel welcome

Been using The Vine for since Paul and Anna took over. Always made to feel welcome, and since reopening in April after lockdown, they've gone out of their way - as have all the staff also - to make sure customers have completed track & trace, are comfortable, needing service (as table service only), and generally looking after everyone. The range of drinks suits all tastes, and there's always a new gin to try! This is the best pub in the town, and somewhere i look forward to going 😀

I've been to the Vine a number of times now, and what can I say, fantastic landlady and landlord in Anna and Paul, a nicer couple you couldn't wish to meet, and the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and friendly, the pub has had a makeover, it looks great and as for the meals, well, compliments to the chef! And the live music nights are really good, drinks are reasonably priced too. If you want to visit just for a catch up with friends or a meal out, you cannot pass The Vine in Black heath.

The vine is a pub in a million staff go above and beyond absolutely fantastic. Food is great Paul and Anna run a tight ship with avgreat team behind them. Nothing is too.much trouble. Covid is taken seriously you feel safe and well looked after. Ales and beers are kept to perfection and a wide variety. Both regulars and strangers feel welcome. Would highly recommend a visit you will be pleasantly surprised. Excellent job done by all

Great pub and the staff are very welcoming and really friendly. Right in the middle of blackheath so handy for a lunchtime drink while doing the shopping also great for a good night out.

Recently had a facelift but not a lot seems to have changed. The front lounge was very quiet but a disco and karaoke was in full flow in the back room.

Ok pub Toilets need a makeover. Dirty baby changing mat makes me feel sick. Most of the time there is no toilet paper. Big lounge with pool table. Darts. Gamblers. Outdoor smoking area, car park Burger van Pints are good , reasonable prices Offers are sometimes good I quite like this pub Hot spot for local bag heads to sell there nicked stuff

Always have drunks shouting and swearing outside the pub. Oh and shoplifters going to heron/iceland and selling to the pub patrons.
