Vine Hotel in East Lindsey

We’d just moved to the area and needed somewhere to stay before our furniture arrived. The Vine was just a short walk from our new home — the room was spotless and really comfy. Perfect for a one-night stay!

No atmosphe very cold and dark was a real cold day they DONT SELL HOT DRINKS . ODD

Room small but nice and clean.couldnt check in till 3pm as it is winter time.landline number non existing so could update details.location centre village and two minute walk to beach.would go back deffo

The vine Hotel chapal St leonards the room was dirty , dirty cup in the sink, bathroom was not clean, we reported it and sat down why they sent a cleaner but the cleaner do not do a good job still did not look clean, plus after being so called clean, the tea a coffe holder was not clean, then to top it off screaming kids bang a bout till gone mid night not a place I would book again they as for your card details in case u trash the room think we should got some money back as the room was not clean and haveing to wait why it was so called clean think who ever supposed to of cleaned our room should go on a clean hygiene corse or leave

Pillows on bed were very poor, escorted to the room when we arrived, then didn't see anyone all weekend,,,,a few radiators in the hotel weren't working,,,room floor was ice cold.

Great pub be be very wary of the car parking. I'm 100% sure I put £1.20 in the machine but the 20p must have fell through without me noticing and they sent me a £100 fine as I was 20p short of my stay if i wanted to rip them off i would not have paid at all. Rip off txxts.

The rooms aren't luxury as advertised and extremely basic. They haven't been spruced up in a number of years and tea and coffee is a cheap basic range. There's plastic racking to hang a few items and sometimes a bed side table. Rooms are normally clean but the odd hair and dust patches can be found but for the price and location you can't complain. Due to lack of b&b / hotel accomadation in Chapel it's a case of needs must. The carvery is nice but there's always about 20 OAP's queing before it even opens. They must have a representative who goes to the bar to pay for the job lot. It isn't self serve as the title carvery would lead you to believe but you do get a generous portion. Can get quite full of people with dog's which I really don't like when eating. There's plenty of entertainment on and good prices on the drinks selection. It has potential to be so much nicer but more recently it has been more focused on locals and the older generation.

My food was brought to me 33 minutes after the time they told me. And it is definitely not a place I would choose. Never ever again. I tried it for the first time. And it's not even a weekend. No excuse is acceptable. All they can say is sorry. I waited for the food for 1.33 minutes. And I am definitely not happy at all.

Do not use, worst place I have visited

A great hotel, just outside Skegness. Pay for parking or free if you are staying. Busy pub Pool and snooker tables Curry house in the pub

This pub has got some good deals on beers good food only trouble is if you want a pint of pop it's £4

Can't comment on the rooms but is recently under new management(thank god👍),never been a friendly place,always struggled to get served at the bar,staff were always very abrupt and straight faced untill now,went a couple of weeks ago with family for Sunday carvery which was beautiful,they were queueing almost out of the door which tells you how good it was,choice of drinks was great,smiley friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you,all 12 of us left happy and contented,what a breath of fresh air,have since been back a couple of times just for a drink and it's just the same,keep it up and thankyou for turning this place into somewhere worth visiting.

Had a carvery it was very nice and the dog was allowed in too,love places that allow the dog inside its not always warm outside,I would rather eat inside so ideal for us.

Good food with attentive service

Very clean and modern rooms. Reasonably priced. Would book again.

Carvery finished 4pm on sundays. Very disappointed.

Had a few games of bingo, and a few drinks

We stayed on the 2/3/24 when we pulled up we thought oh my God but got inside upstairs was ok. ,although the room was lovely it was like a fridge radiator not working the lovely lad on the desk tried to sort it with another heater but unfortunately the room was too big for the heater given, bed was like concrete and anyone with arthritis will know this is not good tried the spare bed bottom bunk sat on it and slats fell out so no sleep had fare to say we won't stay again

I’m always amazed by the service and quality of food here. We’ve dined here many times over the years and the choice and flavours are always so good! I’m vegan and the chef catered especially for me and created a new dish — a delicious beetroot stew that I wish I had the recipe for to remake at home! 😊

Called in at lunch time on a Friday for a drink or food but as nothing seemed to be open we walked out only to have the door slammed firmly shut behind us!
