This is review of the pool and sauna and steam room. I haven’t stayed in the hotel yet. I do think the facilities are better than Village North Leeds. The women’s changing rooms have straighteners for the hair as well as hairdryers. Village North only has hairdressers. Also there is disabled shower cubicle in the female shower room. The swimming 🏊 pool is heated compared to Village North which is cold and the water is very choppy !! The bar area is bigger too. More positives than Village north.

Nice room. We paid extra to use the Pool but it was so busy we couldn't use the sauna or steam room as they were always full. Every time someone came out we got out of the pool but go in but someone always beat us to it and there was no room again!

I recently stayed at the Village Hotel in South Leeds and was very impressed. The hotel room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the facilities available were excellent. The hotel’s modern decor and attention to detail really stood out. Class hotel. Staff are good craic, well helpful and professional. No problems checking in at reception each week (cheers Klaudia 👍) Rooms are cosy and well maintained. Location has good access to amenities if you drive and Morley's only a short walk away if you don't. Will definitely be staying again 👍

Just want to say a huuuge thank you to Klaudia and Sarah on the reception team. My partner was staying at the hotel for a week for a work conference and had the flu. I arranged for some snacks/medicine to be delivered to reception and they gladly received it and delivered it to her room. But then went above and beyond to write a little get well card with some water, biscuits and selection of teas. Such a thoughtful gesture that went a long way! These two deserve a medal! Thanks again!

I was having issues with signing up for a membership but was guided through it by Pamela. She was so patient even though I was very overwhelmed and was full of life even though the late afternoon time ( I wish I had her energy lol). She was very informative and talked me through all the village had to offer. At the end of all the stress I had a lovely time at the spa and will continue to do so with my new membership. Thank you very much !🤍

Knocks spots off Viilage Hotel Leeds North for customer service. Staff can’t do enough for you here. Experienced it a couple of times now, so not a one off. Lilly was exceptional in the bar and grill this evening.

Rooms are a good size and finished quite well. The bathroom could have been a little better out together since the shower leaked on the floor but generally everything was good and comfortable. I arrived a little later than expected the self check in experience is a little confusing. Again I may have been tired but make sure you take note of your room number when you finish checking in. The gym costs an extra £5 which I guess is not unreasonable but it is on the more pricey side of local hotels so could have been included. Also no water or drinks in the room so bring your own. There is a Starbucks downstairs and a restaurant with decent pricing and quality.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times and the staff at the gym and reception and bar are fantastic. My issue is with house keeping, basically my son took his chain and bracelet off before going to the pool and forgot he had left it in the room when checking out and it has gone. Hotel aren’t liable as was our fault as we should have realised. Anyway last weekend my boys again (🙈) left their electric toothbrushes in the bathroom. To my surprise they have gone also. There seems to be a problem either housekeeping are binning everything or someone is stealing them. This is a shame as the hotel is great but it’s left a sour taste in my mouth and we won’t be returning.

I was delighted to spend time in the restaurant passing the hotel on my way to castleford having a lovely buffalo chicken wrap. I was served my food by a charming young man aria g who made sure I was well taken care of with a smile on his face! 😄😄

First stay at a Village Hotel and was really happy we chose this. Service was great, rooms are much nicer than other big brand hotel chains. Shower was the only negative as you have to stand awkwardly as the bath had a strange profile. Bar and restaurant area was really great, especially if you like sport as you can see a big screen tv from sitting in any location. Also ate here and the food was also great quality. Bar prices little expensive, but you expect that at a hotel. Starbucks and gym onsite. Car parking was free. Only £15 for an Uber to Elland Road.

We pre-paid for our stay and announced that we would arrive late. Then, when we arrived at the time we indicated we would, we were told the hotel was overbooked and that we'd have to go elsewhere. Criminal behavior as far as I am concerned.

Upon arrival, we checked in on Sunday, and the room was a decent size. Went down to the bar for food as we went as a family of 3, 2 adult 1 baby, during my partners work trip. While we were there, we were made aware that payments can be made at the end of our stay, and everything will be left on a tab. Went back to our room and had to move room as our room had a broken shower where the water was dangerously hot. Thankfully, we checked the water before putting our 12 month old in. The new room was an accessible room and was spacious however we found a finger or toe nail on the widow and the room was filled with dust the kettle also filled with limescale which I had to disinfect and descale to make sure babys bottles were safe to drink. We also had a crib sent to the room which had only a sheet folded in it instead of a mattress this was extremely uncomfortable for my hand let alone to allow my daughter to sleep in so all 3 of us had to share what felt like an extremely small double bed We then got a charge of £52. We went down the next morning and quizzed it they confirmed we didn't spend the £52 and again, all payments are made at the end of our stay. By Wednesday we were pulled by bar staff saying our tab was extremely high and needed paying immediately I explained I sent my wages to my sister to take out the bank as we had a holiday coming up as we were told we can pay at the end of our stay which was the Saturday however both myself and partner were to be payed the Friday. He explained that was incorrect and he'd ask his manager if we could pay the Friday and we'd find out by thursday if that was okay Thursday comes and the manager pulls my partners manager and explains to him we have a high bill ( they also worked the bill out over £40 more than what it was in the end we got it down to £140 which to us wasnt much considering its a 6 night stay with 3 people. Completely embarrassed my partner in front of his manager and colleagues as we didn't have the funds til Friday to pay, and we had already transferred the money we had back home to be taken out cash. We spoke with the manager and explained the situation and she said that it's fine to pay on Friday. Friday comes and as my partner is walking back in from his shift infront of all his colleagues again a completely new member of staff which wed never seen made a point of the tab being paid which we had come over to sort out anyway as no one was on the desk at 4.40am when my partner left for work! I made a joke that they must have a photo of us on the wall to recognise us we also didn't have a physical card and she was quite sarcastic with us when we explained we'd have to make an 100 £ transaction then a £40 as our contact less on phone won't allow us to go over 100£ per transaction for security. We paid the bill and decided to check out a day early as we felt incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed by the situation, and at that point, the anxiety and stress it caused we just all wanted to go home. Absolutely no fault on the bar staff at both breakfast and noon all lovely and extremely helpful to both me my partner and was very patient with out 12 month old as she can be a messy eater which we did always offer and do our best to keep clean after her. Food was also very enjoyable each night, and breakfast was lovely too again, even at early hours, the staff in the bar were happy to help with anything, and drinks were extremely affordable if I'm correct £6.05 for a gin and lemonade compared to usual bars where you're looking around £8 Housekeeping were lovely each day, offering new towels & tea & coffee We've been staying at village hotels now for 5 years; cheadle, Warrington, and now leeds south and were so disappointed with this service we've never been treated like this by any of the hotels we've been so loyal to over the past half decade! It's made us really think about if we want to stay and put any more money into the pocket of a company that treated us so poorly

Worse gym about charge arm and a leg first of all changing rooms always filthy steam room disgusting don’t know the last time they washed it. Hidden fees cancelled membership through bank 2 months later get a call saying i owe over £100 to the gym and I hadn’t attended in over 2 months. Saying it will go to court or bailiffs will come to house. Be aware of what you sign as I was not told anything about it when I attended as I enrolled at the gym and not online. Try attend another gym shocking customer service.

Just spent a week at this hotel, stylistically the rooms are very nice, but the lighting makes them feel a little dark and dingy at times. Found the menu lacking creativity, and food unpredictable, some portions are great value for money, others you feel robbed. The breakfast also lacked variety, and I don't know if it's a regional thing, but no hash browns with a cooked breakfast? WiFi was extremely unreliable, the connection kept dropping in and out, making it difficult to work, speed was inconsistent bouncing from 200 KB/s to 2000 KB/s.

I recently joined the health club and have been very impressed with the facilities. I have been a member of many gyms over the years and to be honest when going to look at the gym at Village Hotel was not expecting much, as some hotel gyms are very basic. I was more than impressed with the gym and swimmimg areas. There is lot of choice for classes and equipment to keep a check on your well being. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful when i needed it. It is not the cheapest of membership but i have the view of what price do you put on your health. I would definately recommend.

I stay here regularly for work. And I still like the the location and the hotel overall. During this visit though, I realised the rooms are getting a little tired and in need of a freshen up. The hotel itself still ticks many of the boxes I require for an overnight stay, primarily that the location is very central, but on my last visit in January, I didn't have a great experience checking in either.

My daughter and myself stayed here for 2nights it is value for money , they offer sunday lunch no scrimping on portions. Das who is part of the pub and grill staff is an absolute ⭐️so friendly, attentive,nothing was too much trouble always a smile on his cheery face. Visited with my friend today for lunch. It's the first time I've been on a long time as the food used to be so terrible on the odd occasion I did visit, so I just stopped. Our waitress (Italian lady) was incredible. So friendly and polite, nothing too much trouble for her. For starter, we shared the chicken liver pate and I'm glad we did as it was a big portion. It was delicious. So tasty. For main, I had the hunters chicken schnitzel with chunky chips. It was perfectly fine. I would have preferred just cheese and not the cheesy sauce on top but it was nice. Salad (lots of the same green/browning leaf) was a bit sad looking and not very fresh. Pudding was the honey comb dome. I didn't like this that much. That's my taste, there was nothing wrong with it. Too much going on maybe. Honeycomb, chocolate, ice cream, honey, a ton of dry biscuits, sauce! I think it could have been simplified. The honey overtook most flavour. The whole place needs a refurb. Seats were torn, the carpet is handing off the step to the toilet and there was a strong smell of stale urine in the ladies. Plus a dead spider on the shelf near the basins. It looked to have been there a long time. Id visit again as the service was great and the food was nice. The prices they're charging.......they could sort a refurb.

Got a takeaway that included mushroom pilau rice and a meat madras curry. The rice was very oily and the meat madras curry was very salty. Not good.

Incredible food. The hot pork belly dish is sensational. Add the fried egg. It works. Definitely only for those who like spicy. 😋 The club next door's music making the whole place vibrate just adds to the Bangkok feel of the place.
