Disappointing decline in service I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times for work, often for a week at a time and have spent thousands over last couple of months. Unfortunately, the service has really gone downhill. After my most recent stay, I accidentally left a few small personal items in the room. When I contacted the hotel, I was told they wouldn’t return them unless I arranged and paid for a courier service myself—hardly what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. This followed issues during my last visit, where I had to raise a complaint about flies in the room, particularly around the windows and coffee machine—definitely not what you’d expect in terms of cleanliness or hygiene. The location is convenient and the gym is a useful perk, but overall, the service and attention to detail have been disappointing. I won’t be rushing back.

Second time staying in Aberdeen, the hotel is really nice and the facilities are great, you can get the bus into the city very easily, highly recommend staying here.

Room lovely and clean, breakfast fresh and plenty options. Was not told about the exercise class that would be blasting music below us. If looking for a relaxing morning maybe request rooms above level 1 as the noise was unbearable!! Really disappointed by the as it ruined what had been a very relaxing stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. We got moved rooms as we had a couple of issues with the original one. Room nice. Good size and modern. Went for meals both nights and the food was pretty good. I got burgers both nights and they were very tasty. Good selection of beer. We paid for the meal deal upfront in our hotel package so it worked out pretty decent value. The only issue I had were the wine prices. They were astronomical. Just normal large white wine glasses were around £13 to £15. We travel a lot and the village hotel Aberdeen was far more expensive for wine than nice hotels in places like Bath, York. Chester, Durham pretty much anywhere nice in England. I notice they don't offer a wine list on their site. Spoke to a manager who was lovely. She was South African and so nice. Mentioned the wine prices and she couldn't have been more understanding. Our breakfast and whole hotel experience was pretty good. We liked it but I enjoy a glass of wine(or 2) with my meal. My wife doesn't drink so 2 glasses of standard wine for £30 is just ridiculous for Aberdeen.

Staff were great! Friendly and accommodating. Hotel is clean and Pool etc nice. Room was freezing on arrival, not heating on even though thick snow outside. The room took a long time to heat so we ended up going out. I had issues with booking hotel online, the chat was unhelpful and almost dismissive. My complaint was passed to manager at Aberdeen. This I can’t get my head around when the issue was with the booking team. The manager, booking and restaurant staff were kind and friendly. Still feel my booking issue was unresolved and it’s put me off using again.

Stayed here for an overnight package for Hogmanay including a meal and party. Room was great and with the package it's upgraded to an Upper Deck room, large and comfy. The party, band, and DJ was great and the meal was much better than I expected considering it was for a large number at the same time. 4 courses were served with the mains having a choice of chicken of beef. Breakfast was a buffet style and I have to say was probably one of the best buffet breakfasts I've had. Also had access to the spa and pool, which were all very clean even thought it was quite busy. Thank you.

Overall experience was decent. Customer service was subjective, some were more helpful than others. Met a Ghanaian who attended to me at the restaurant and was great!

Nice easily located hotel, 2 minutes off the bypass. Good gym and pool facilities and a decent enough menu for a few nights stay on business.

Nice hotel. Upgraded menu from previous visits in the restaurant, which I think is a good improvement. Friendly helpful staff. The only issue I had was my room was above the gym. I was tired and it took a while getting to sleep early as the music and some noise carried through into my room until after the gym closed. Wasn’t a problem for me in the morning as I was up early, when the music started at 5am. Apart from that, I slept well and the bed was comfy.

We target shoot at Denwood. This is a close hotel. Good quality, reasonable food, not too expensive. Would recommend it.

We stayed for 2 nights here . All in all it was quite a good hotel but Basically the rooms are just similar to a premier inn . Nothing special. Double bed which was comfy . Kettle and tea and coffee in the room . No fridge. Iron and iron board in the room, a Small desk and chair and 1 small wardrobe space. The Tv worked fine . No curtains but had a blackout blind. Bathroom was really modern and very clean . Shower was great, good power and nice and hot . Nice fluffy towels . Breakfast is buffet style and was nice although the Coffee out the coffee machine was disgusting . Never used the pool as we discovered it is open to anyone with a gym membership in the area so we didn’t bother as didn’t want to swim in a very busy pool . The bar is very overpriced. Glass of wine was £9 and was horrible couldn’t drink it . Pint of Budweiser around £6 and tasted watered down . We stayed on the 3rd floor was nice and peaceful and quite not much of a view tho just an old roof top. Bus stop is a few minutes walk where you can get the bus into town or it’s about 15 minutes drive . Girl on the front desk was nice friendly and polite

We booked a room and access to the Health and wellbeing suites. We regularly travel to the Village hotel in Newcastle, however my wife picked the Aberdeen Village hotel, as less travelling time. This was a wee pre 33 year anniversary, stayover. We found that this venue more than exceeded our expectations, the room was great, the Grill restaurant, food was very good but the staff service was excellent. The sauna and steam room were really good, as was the large pool and Jacuzzi. The many seated areas and tv screens were very well placed and relaxed both of use the Starbucks was a bonus for my wife. We will definitely now be coming to stay with you rather than travel go Newcastle. Well done your Colleagues are a credit to you. James and Grace McLaughlan.
