i have ordered for the first time and i really wanted to say food was very nice and i will order again😊

two mini fish, the batter so hard we had to break it off to get to the fish, uneatable, chips ok, must have been in warming cabinet since lunch, not the first time, very hit and miss

Seems to have gone downhill, under cooked chips, small portions that were like warm, wrong drink and no free garlic bread even though we spent over the amount.

The worst fish, chips and mushy peas we have ever had. The chips tasted weird, almost like a chemical like taste. The fish was ridiculously over fried. Just a hollow greasy and watery mess. The mushy peas were definitely the worst we've ever had. A tin of 50p mushy peas from the corner shop is far superior. Everything was just dripping in grease. We're actually shocked by how bad it all was. Most of it went into the bin. Absolute waste of money.

Used to come here years ago and I thought I'd give it a try as I was passing, smallest portion of chips I've ever received, tasted good but don't expect to be smiling when you get home if you like a plateful.

Chips were ok. Fish was terrible. Tasted like it had been sat around for hours and I couldn’t eat it. The pizza was fine, tasted normal for a lower price takeaway.

Food wasn't great, batter in fish was soft and chips very greasy. Service was friendly.

So I called the restaurant and asked if it was possible if I was to order a meal that I have 2 empty pizza boxes as i am doing a toy story night and need them for decorations and the service was amazing very friendly staff he let me have them all in all amazing experience

battered sausage not good mushy peas to watery to many chips

Ordered food the battered sausage was hard and couldn’t even bite into it. The beans were stodgy and just were absolutely awful. Absolutely awful experience

unfortunately this order was not good, my Fish had been rebattered and reheated which resulted in very dry and overcooked fish with a double layer of batter...completely inedible very disappointed as normally the fish from here is beautiful....

Donner Kebab Meat. 3/10. Actually I can't say I've had worse. And I've had some in my life. Pitta was full of meat though. Hence 2 Stars. One slice of the end of a cucumber. Half a slice of Tomato. Tiny pot of sauce. Value NO. Quality NO. It wasn't even the weekend. It was mid week. IF YOU WANT A KEBAB DON'T ORDER FROM HERE! OK! If you're lucky, you might even get fully cooked chips. But don't hold your breath. An Honest review.

I want to make a complaint. This is order is awful. No salad. No sauce and they won't answer.

Never usually have an issue, however tonight’s food was awful. The chips were black and mushy. I spoke to the shop and was told they knew, it’s an issue they’ve raised with the supplier about the potatoes. Nothing they could do to rectify the issue but will give me more chips next time 🤷🏼‍♀️ not really ideal when we’re half a meal down.

Ordered multiple times, not been disappointed, except 1 occasion where the food was late and cold. Regardless, the food has been really good and enjoyable, apart from the 1 occasion. On the whole I would recommend 🙂

1st time ordering here, is the mini fish ordered in ready battered? Battering disgusting on mini fish but beautiful on battered sausage!? Standard chippy, I'll stick 2 my usual personally but not horrible. Delivery spot on just have a dodgy postcode

Just ordered the 3xL burger, and it was amazing. The burger was red hot, and the chips were to It's definitely the best burger I've had from a takeaway, and I will be ordering it again 🙂🙂

Ordered fish ,chips and mussy peas ,ended up with half a tin of baked beans for 3 quid so they went where they belong in the bin ,fish was ok I thought at the time but upon seeing the fish again about an hour later I had my doubts ,will not be going again

Kebab was lovely, fish however, absolutely awful. Extremely soggy and tasted really watery somehow. The chips were undercooked and the peas were so dry, its a good job I got curry sauce

Food was greasy, the burger bun was soggy from the grease off the chips, the actual burger was hard, chips where like mush, onion rings where soggy and over cooked, only had 1 as they tasted burnt. Only thing that was decent was the curry sauce. Definitely wouldn’t order again

My partner had donor meat and chips which he said was very good. I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips. Chips were acceptable.. “chicken” most certainly wasn’t. Maybe Village Fryers needs to keep a more careful eye on their suppliers as what I was served could quite easily have been cat, dog, anything in fact rather than chicken. The manner of preparation needs reviewing too. Thick uncooked skin left on, covered by some kind of uncooked “mush” which in turn was covered by overcooked breadcrumbs. Could not decipher which part of whichever animal it came from. My whole meal went in the bin. Sorry, cannot give any positives at all really!
