Viet 80's Restaurant in Nottingham

Great night out and food delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely will return another time. Charcoal Grilled pork with salad. House special fried rice and pork belly well worth trying also.

Lovely calming place to have a coffee or food. Very clean Toilets clean seating area. Spacious beautiful features, cosy feel. Staff friendly and very welcoming & polite. Person centred. Lighting not over powering ie (not bright ) cosy feel. Made atmosphere feel relaxed coffee excellent. I highly recommend this place. Great for families. The glass around makes feel outdoor plenty of light so not dark inside. Whole place spotlessly clean.

Where to start The environment was very calming and relaxed. Staff was polite and extremely friendly. Really friendly staff, helpful with the menu and explaining what they have. Really like that they have a cafe as well as a restaurant separately. Love the decor and atmosphere, will definitely come back in the new year to experience it again.

WOW… Amazing place, food, hospitality great, everything tasted so fresh. It was our first time in a Vietnamese restaurant and now wish I’d been before. Next time I’m in Nottingham I will going again.

We were here for dinner. Waited for more than one hours for our food. Other patrons in smaller groups got their orders first despite placing the order later than us. Very disappointing and left the kids hungry and angry. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

There's a few Vietnamese restaurants now in town but this seems to be the most authentic experience. Really nice food highly recommended!!

Super friendly staff from the moment we walked through the door. We had never eaten at a Vietnamese restaurant before and they made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent- beautiful flavours, all plates polished clean! Bún thịt nướng/Charcoal grilled pork bún is thoroughly recommended.

A very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and reasonably priced. A few of the reviews have stated the food is a little bland. I did feel this too for a bit until I added seasoning, chillis and beansprouts to the soup, and those things enhanced the flavour. The chicken wings were amazing too! We paid £45 for a main each, wings and a couple of beers. Give this place a try folks.

Food was great - I would recommend the ‘stir-fried Vietnamese noodles’ and the ‘deeply red iced tea’. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being busy.

every now and again my friend and I always go out and try different restaurants. I this is one of them we went here and I never tried Vietnamese food there always the first time for everything so we went in the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food is OMG especially the duck fried rice that was to die for I will defiantly come here again

We were shopping in Nottingham and decided to have a late lunch. Our usual haunts were booked out, and so we went a bit further saw Viet 80's and thought why not. What a find! Service was good, food fantastic and so fresh and well presented, and the price was extremely reasonable. Got a very street food atmosphere, luxurious its not but comfortable and friendly.
