The place looks amazing inside, it’s very pretty and the afternoon tea was lovely, well presented and very tasty. There were three of us and there were only two of one of the cakes but we were not bothered about that. I’m afraid I’ve left a poor rating due to the service provided. We were seated with some water for the table then we waited over 35 mins for someone to take our drinks order, I was going to have some cocktails but no one came over so I didn’t bother in the end. We tried to get the attention of one of the ladies with no joy. There were only four tables in so it was not busy. We noticed one of the tables that had finished had to go and find someone so they could pay the bill. The only reason we got our tea is that a lovely chap with an apron on came out with our afternoon tea so we asked him for some drinks. We had to ask for some milk and sugar after the tea arrived. No one offered a top up of our drinks and I had to ask for our bubbly that we got with the afternoon tea later on. I just think the front of house staff need to be more attentive as the chap with the apron seemed to be doing the most when bringing food out. There is lots of competition and for the price you pay I would expect better service. The food itself was really nice but waiting over half an hour just to try to order drinks is really poor service, we felt like we were being totally ignored when we first got there. I don’t know how long we would have had to wait if the afternoon tea hadnt come out when it did, it was getting to the point where we were going to have to get up and go and ask someone to get us some drinks which is not what you would expect. So basically the food was good but the service is very slow.

The restaurant was busy so as it was our first time I thought it was encouraging to see . We had drinks first which I thought were notably overpriced with a glass of Prosecco being £9.50! Then we guided to the table at the side with a sloppy low sofa which I didn’t find easy to get in or out of. We made our choices and as the menu looked quite interesting we looked forward to seeing what we ordered. The mushroom starter and the calamari came and they were tasty . I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which was again nice with Parmesan truffle chips which you couldn’t find the truffle sadly, hubby had the burger which looked very ordinary tbh. The dessert was pistachio cheese cake which didn’t pack much of a punch. It was obviously THE place to come in Hale from what I have read and seen but I found it overpriced for what you got. Luckily we had a 50% off voucher as I don’t think it impressed us enough to pay full price in the future tbh

Awful experience from start to finish, Disinterested waiting staff, 2 hour wait for food and mistakes made, staff arnt friendly, tje food was edible but certainly nothing special in any way. Very expensive with such poor service and a 10 % service charge placed on the bill despite the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I would not return and would not recommend.

The 2 stars that I have given were for the look of the place as it is stunning and the food was very nice. However, the service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for a starter and then from when the empty starter plates were collected, there was another 45 minutes wait for the main. We received no apology from our waitress for the long waiting times, and the place was only half full. On top of that, the singer today had a lovely voice, however her songs got more and more depressing as the afternoon went on. We came out for a meal to have a nice ‘positive’ time together but we all felt very miserable at each depressing song that was getting louder and louder. Just didn’t enjoy the whole experience at all unfortunately.

Visited when the restaurant was offering 50% off food for the month of January. Food was nice but this arrived before the drinks which was a bit strange. However I would not consider returning due to staff members making me feel like I was lying when presented with a bill that featured things like entire bottles of wine which we simply didn’t have. Even when the bill was amended it was still incorrect and I was made to feel very uncomfortable.

Went here with my daughter . I must say food was delicious and no complaints there . The wait to be seated was just a bit too long . Order wasn’t taken for at least 20 mins. Everything just took far too long . We were going to order a dessert but couldn’t be bothered to wait . That said the waitress was nice and pleasant when we did see her . Even waiting for the bill was another 20 mins . Compliments to the chef , but don’t go here if you’re in a rush .

Really poor service - we waited for over an hour for our 2 main meals...I asked a couple of times when the meals would arrive and was just fobbed off. I was told it was 2/3 minutes away but it didnt materialise and I needed to chase it up again. The manager didn't really care and made no effort to make it right. We wont be going back

Good and service was excellent. We had a lovely evening. The restaurant is lovely inside. The menu has lots of sushi on if I was to suggest maybe some specials that are not sushi !! But will return and lovely atmosphere !!

Fabulous restaurant. They have got everything right from the picturesque venue, wonderful service, amazing food and atmosphere. The DJ was a great addition, not too loud or distracting - just played great tunes which created a fun vibe. Our server was Jack who was a delight from the moment we arrived and is a credit to Victor's. He made our visit feel special. It was our first time at Victor's, but not our last, we will definitely return in 2024. Highly recommend.

Having booked a table on Friday 15th of December to celebrate Christmas with friends. On arrival ordered some Porn star martinis which came with no passion fruit the waiter saying they don't put them in so they can get more in the glass which was small so why not get some bigger glasses.When taken to our table we were told that we couldn't have the festive menu as was only for large party's. It doesn't say this on the menu and when querying was told you booked on line .Then was told no turkey dish and lots more on the menu not available. Then was told if we waited till 7:45pm we could order turkey only for someone else to come and tell this was not possible. After managers coming over was offered the Christmas menu and we all had the steak with the supplement taken off which were just OK for an upmarket restaurant. Having been to the Ivy and 24 stories the previous week the steaks being far superior.Then the music was so Loud you couldn't talk !!!!! Asked for it to be turned down only after 5 mins they put it back to full volume .Considering this is a restaurant not a night club totally unacceptable. The evening was going down hill from the very start and got worse. When ordering the Christmas pudding to share the manager was trying to light it with a cigarette lighter totally unprofessional which didn't work and he had to go back and get some sprit to light !! it was a shambles. We all new when the bill came it wasn't going to be correct, and guess what we were right.The manager again coming to the table and taking it back to correct. Having said to the manager thinks have gone from bad to worse his reply was the only way is up which did make us all laugh .As what should have been a lovely Christmas night out turned into a fiasco .I would have thought 10 days before Christmas you would have had turkey !!!! The restaurant was less than half full which shows the standards at present totally unacceptable and won't be returning anytime soon .

We booked a family meal to have the festive menu. The service was really slow despite the restaurant being almost empty and there being plenty of staff working. We had called ahead to notify that another person would be coming but the restaurant had not set them a place at the table and we had to ask for cutlery and a plate several times and we went for long periods without drinks and we were not even offered water for the table. Most of us had the turkey which was really dry, the steak was nice but portion sizes were really small considering the cost. Dessert also wasn’t great. Walking to the ladies toilet there was a horrible stench coming from the men’s which was really unpleasant. We should have taken it as a warning sign that we were able to get a table when so many other places were fully booked.

Visited Victors last night with a girlfriend. The restaurant was absolutely buzzing and the music added to the great vibe. The staff here are lovely; professional, warm and welcoming. Considering the place was packed the service was exemplary. Food absolutely delicious are cocktails here are the best. I have been three times in the last couple of months and have to say I am very impressed.

Had the pleasure of going with my daughter who is a food blogger. This is a visually lovely restaurant inside,so calming and stylish. Staff are super friendly and very attentive. The food we had was excellent from the hot sourdough bread with three types of butter. For starters we had crab tacos,a beef dish but they also brought us some superb lobster rolls,a tuna dish and tempura green beans. For main I had a very nice piece of cod with crispy kale and mushrooms. I had a side portion of truffle and parmesan fries, everything was excellent. My daughter had a very large portion of lobster Mac and cheese which again was excellent. This is a really nice restaurant and well worth a visit

Came here to celebrate our anniversary, we wanted to order the Victors Sushi Set and because im allergic to Shrimp and Crab, I try to order a only fish version. they refused to do it like already did other time, they should adapt their plates for people with allergy. End up my night with frustrated and stress. Never coming again!!

Just returned from a lovely evening at Victors Very warm reception. Best cocktails and fabulous food. Compliments to the chef. There is a real buzz to the place and everyone very welcoming. Will definitely be back soon.

Eating at victors was an unforgettable experience. The food, the staff and the service were impeccable. Kudos to the bar team for some fantastic modern cocktails. The salmon was the most salmon tasting salmon I've ever consumed! Deffo would cum again.

Had an amazing night out with my wife in Victor's this evening. ALL of the food was spectacular! Starters: beef tataki & scallops. Mains: fillet steak, truffle & parmesan fries, salmon, green salad. Desserts: baked alaska (best ever) Loved the ambiance, staff were great, food was spectacular! Looking forward to our next visit, very soon!

We chose Victors to celebrate our twin daughter's birthday as a family. We arrived at 7.50...8.05 we were still waiting to order drinks! There we serving staff walking around, but for some reason one constantly kept going to the table behind and was completely oblivious to us despite us sitting looking like mere cats trying to catch their attention! My husband was eventually able to call someone over, who approached our table rolling her eyes, with which we asked if we could order as we had been sat for 15 mins! We proceeded to order and order the Sunday roasts...as we were ordering another staff member whispered in her ear - at which our server stopped listening to us (no, sorry guys just give me one minute - or an excuse me from the other server!)...only to be told that there were no more Sunday roasts. As we expressed our disappointment, the server advised us that to get the roasts, we should get there earlier!!! We asked for a few minutes to look over the menu again...15 minutes later, still no drinks - not even a jug of water - and no sign of being able to order our food - and the same server just constantly walking past us. At this point - we had had enough (not how we wanted to end celebrating our daughters birthday, after having such a good day), so my son & husband went a couple of doors down to Cibo, who were able to accommodate us straight away...with which my daughters and I gathered our belongings, walking past the host - who was just as oblivious as the rest of the serving staff - and walked out! We proceeded to have the BEST experience and evening at Cibo. (as a side note, we saw another couple sitting near us at Victors, also walk into Cibo not long after we were seated!) Victors, A couple of points; 1/ if you advertise that you will do Sunday roasts all day then surely you need to better organised and ensure that enough food is ordered to cater for the demand (which clearly there is, if we were advised by a server to get there early - so this clearly isn't the only time that this has happened). 2/ please train your staff to be more aware of people waiting to order - whether it is there section or no. 3/ advise staff to not roll their eyes infront of customers. 4/ if there is a wait for food/drinks - maybe advise your customers and keep them watered and maybe offer some bread! With what you are charging on your menu, the experience does not justify your pricing!

We arrived at at 2000 today for Dinner - there was nobody to take our order till 20:20 and then food arrived at 21:15. The poor floor staff were over worked and understaffed. We ordered four things from the menu but cancelled a part of our order and left after waiting for the remaining items we ordered which still didn’t come out by 21:30.

We have visited Victors many times and always had a great experience and food. Unfortunately we dined last Sunday ( Fathers Day) and what a shambles, the food delivery was so disjointed and Sunday lunch very very average,. Maybe there was internal issues as the family next to us made multiple complaints and even found two blonde hairs in their food, Yuk ! Maybe the standards have just dropped as happens in a lot of restaurants ?

Where Geishas float on cotton clouds and laughs and full bellys sit side by side. I was lucky enough to be treated here to a beautiful birthday meal of fresh , flavoursome sushi followed by the most delicious coconut crumb cod ive ever eaten and would easily order again. When you are trying to be good and need to make sure you get your 5 a day ..... they even think about you. Order that banana cake, the sticky caramel sauce is the medicine your doctor forgot to order . Beautiful decor for those who love a photograph for the socials and outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine (for however long it lasts)

I love Victors. In my opinion, it's some the finest food you can eat and cooked perfectly every time I go. I never used to be a fan of Victors because I visited a few years ago and although good, I didn't think the quality deserved the price. But, in the last couple of years I think they have massively upped their game. The staff are great, it looks great inside, and i think the food is amazing. We loved the tuna tartare and sushi to start and the same for fillet steaks & parmesan truffle fries for mains. For dessert, it's the baked Alaska every time. All courses were stunning. I loved this visit as much as the last and I'm already looking forward to the next one. Keep up the fabulous work, we can't wait to see you again!

Went last week for a meal and was very disappointed. The service was not at all good. It took 50 mins from sitting down to get our starters. We had to request more drinks twice rather than being asked if we wanted more drinks. Steak was not cooked as it was ordered, wrong beer was brought and we were then overcharged by over £50 on the bill. About 4 tables around us were left uncleared for the remainder of our stay so looked messy. All in all poor service and wont visit again

Not usually a complainer however, we popped in for a drink after a lovely meal down the road. Sat at the bar for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to us. Once we received service the staff member looking after the bar was lovely, upon wanting to order another round (due to the good service that saved the experience) we then had to wait another 10 minutes with empty glasses and we're told 3 times "I'll be with you in a minute". One poor gentleman serving the whole bar! If he had someone else with him then I'm sure it would have been better, as I said his service, once received, was brilliant.

We love the decor & atmosphere so chose Victors for a friends night out. The food was presented well and tasty, however was really delayed because the restaurant was busy. The food eventually arrived and they were very apologetic - Abdul manager and then looked after us. Abdul and team were well mannered, good service and we had a great evening. I would recommend going to this lovely place. :).
