Victoria Shawarma in Nottingham

I ordered a mix shawarma and everything was cold. I asked them to change the dish, so they put some on top of the old one and served it again Why did I eat the dish and then return it and pay for it? It is not usual for a restaurant to serve food like this But the way he laughed at the customer bothered me. Thank you

Had Kebabs here and it was really tasty and dirt cheap compared to other places. The service was a bit slow though but given how busy the place is it's totally understandable.

Affordable price and a nice place to have a meal Meat options:fish, chicken, and lamb. Most of them are grilled but also have stewed lamb. Provide rice, yellow rice, couscous, and chips. If you only feel slightly hungry, you can choose wrap pr sandwich as your choice.

It was worst meat swarama i have ever eaten. Bread was cold and it was like rubber. And meat was very poor quality. Meat was uneatable,piece of meat comprising membrane and fat. I am feeling sick after eating.

For a change I went to these guys and it was a mistake. Ordered mixed wrap. 1st of all, i have never experienced that naan bread was sticking to the paper. Was probably undercooked. Moving on, i found at least 3 bones in my meal. Good i didn't snap my tooth! Then some meat i had to spit out as it was too chewy to eat. Awful experience. Next time i just go to the guys next to if im around.

Nice food. The girl made mistake, we ask for shawarma plate and shawarma with rice, total 17 pound, and one gay told us to pay 22 pound, we don't ask for menu. If you go, make sure that good connection between girl and the gay, that they understand your order.

The service wasn’t good or average, The waitress was very rude, when she missed part of my order, I ask if I can have it, she came back with it and throw it on the plate on my table, made me feel I wasn’t welcome. They need to improve their customer service.

Turkish food is delicious and tasty.

Really great food, tasty and well made. They always seem to run out of lentil soup and the shaorma on plate seem to be quite small in size (meat wise) but it’s definitely our go to spot when we fancy quick bite at great price.

Sharwma gone down hill, prices gone up

The reason I changed from five stars to four stars. The first thing I bought several times was grilled chicken on gas, and it was semi-raw from the thighs. The other problem has been for a period of time, about two months. You can only pay in cash, and they always say that the internet does not work, and as we say, an excuse is worse than a sin.

Good all round, recommended, portion was fair for the price and service.

Very packed in there, seems like no one knows what they’re doing. Food is great though, but it’s way to packed inside to say it’s a dine in restaurant only.

Chicken shawarma was spot on. Simple, tasty and inexpensive.

Been going here for a couple of years now. The quality has definitely been dropping in the past couple of months. If you want a sharwarma there is only 1 guy in there who knows how to make it( with care). I will not be going any more as I and a friend both got very violent food poisoning, which lasted a week. I have contacted HSE ( health and safety executive). And hopefully something will be done. Such a shame as this was a very nice place to eat I would advise anyone to approach with caution.

Good food at decent prices. Service is fast. I wouldn’t recommend the shawarma wrap (shawarma plate is good) if you are looking for the Middle Eastern type shawarma. All the other food items we tried were really good.

Really tasty, fresh, authentic, good portion size, amazing price. You won’t find a better lunch for £4 with a chicken shawarma wrap. I drive over from Trent bridge for these sometimes it’s worth the drive. Nice to see honest hard working people serving up good food at affordable prices and not just out to make money. Go there for lunch you won’t regret it.

I cant recommend. Just left and wont be coming back Ordered two dishes: lamb Quzy and grilled chicken. Food was cold (all od it including the meat& chicken). Presentation was awful, the plate looked messsy. Service was poor.

A little surprise when I visited the store. The business was very busy and the environment was very good. The grilled fish was cooked very well and the fish skin was crispy. I also tried the lamb quzi. The stewed meat was soft and tender. The chicken sharwama is high quality and cheap, and the drinks are also cheap. , the waiter is very friendly and will bring many friends here😋

Bad restaurant. I ordered beef biryani which is stale and uncooked rice. With two small pieces of old meat and the color of the meat is white, it lasted for a long time, and I would not recommend the visit because it is bad

Food is reasonable and ok prices. But customer service is 0% terrible experience with counter staff talking back in a rude manner to customers. For example rudely telling a customer to check their purchase at home instead of marking the box or wrapper to show it is a different shawarma.

Good place for kebabs, shawarma, roasted chicken, fish etc. in very reasonable prices, served fresh and fast. Proper naan bread made to order, as should be - one of best in town. Meat tender and juicy served in men - size portions. Server lady look after tables with smile, serving, cleaning and pick empty plates in lightspeed 👍 Basic choice of drinks, no desserts - so do not expect fancy fountains, just honest food served with fast food prices. Vegetarian options aviable, overal good value of real Kurdish food experience, will definitely recommend 👍

A friend introduced us to this little gem if you like middle eastern food on the cheap, which took me by surprise. Don't let the untidy neighbourhood discourage your visit - we were greeted warmly and watching the freshly made middle eastern naan beoing made to order, and the variety are such good value and we all ate like kings. I ordered the lamb shawarma which is a steal for under £5, and for vegetarians be warned as we had to order an extra salad portion as this would be a carnivore's paradise. They also do grilled meats to order as well as the traditional kebab meats of lamb and chicken, and also the regular lentil soups and rice dishes. We couldn't finish the lovely food as we requested a take out box without fuss for the leftovers we had. I will definetely come back again soon for their freshly made naan breads made in their tandoori ovens as one cannot beat the taste of freshly cooked food at an affordable price. A favourite place in Nottingham.
