Marrakesh Express in Nottingham

3 of us went to Nottingham to watch a cricket match and had this food afterwards. Food was really great and very delicious but a bit expensive, but then perhaps all arabic food is like here I guess. Please do visit them as its amazing food.

Unresponsive!!! I am trying to get in touch with this restaurant to make a corporate food order for next month, but the phone number online is incorrect and they don’t answer the email address or form on their website. Disappointed as I remember the food is good.

Best Lebanese Shawarma in Town! Excellent staff, warm and always welcoming !

Let me set the scene, walking back from a great night out everywhere busy. I walk in here looking ror a kebab like moth to a flame. I am instantly intimidated to buy a leftover kebab which i do for a whopping £7.50. Not only is the garlic mayo inedible way too much garlic but the donner is cold and disgusting and the chips are few and far between. I would give it 0 stars if i could. Keep your money and stay away from these scam artists

Went here with my daughter today. Food delicious, the staff super nice! And price very very reasonable. I would recommend this place to everyone. The lamb chops were very very delicious and the food portions were very big too.

The wrap was disgusting. I was overcharge. Asked for just a wrap and paid £6.50. When I looked he'd put some cold undercooked pale greasy chips in the bag. So I was charge meal deal without asking for it and he didn't even give me the drink. Avoid!!

I really love this place and can’t recommend it enough!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is unreal. It’s not a day/night out in Nottingham without a visit here.

I moved to the UK six months ago, and I can easily say that Amora is the first restaurant to leave me a satisfied customer. For £5.5, I got massive Shawerma sandwich with fries and coke. I would like to say that this is also the first time I don't manage to finish my meal. It was brilliant. An easy recommendation for anyone seeking an affordable dinner of high quality.

Tried this place yesterday when looking for somewhere to eat for lunch after a long walk, there was a lot of choice but decided to go for the wrap lunch deal. The chicken touk wrap was excellent in taste; had a lot of flavour. My friend had the lamb touk wrap which again was as good. Overall happy, authentic arab food 👌

Fui aquí para una comida de Navidad de oficina. Muy sabrosa comida que me hicieron a pedido, como tal, creo que fue una muy buena relación calidad-precio. El personal fue muy servicial y educado. Desafortunadamente, parecía haber una sola camarera y, como éramos un grupo grande, la comida tardó más del tiempo que nos habíamos asignado. Definitivamente volveré sin embargo, no cuando tenemos prisa. El restaurante estaba limpio y bien decorado.

There is no such place. It's closed many months ago. Instead go to laazis.

Great food, something different than kebabs or boring burgers, fresh salads, meat and fries (chips) made on fresh oil not the old one! Everything is really tasty and delicious! I will return with my girlfriend for sure!

Hoy pagué por una parrillada mixta en este lugar con gran anticipación ya que he disfrutado de una cocina similar de otros restaurantes. Pedí una comida para llevar. Cuando fui a recogerlo, me desanimé al principio por el Nivel de higiene o falta de los mismos por parte de los miembros del personal. Sin querer sonar grosero, esto sucedió delante de mis ojos, uno estaba literalmente pasándose las manos por el pelo mientras se preparaba mi comida y el otro se estaba sonando la nariz con los mismos guantes que cortaban el pan de falafel. Cuando llegué a casa mi apetito había disminuido, pero pensé en echarle un vistazo a la parrillada mixta. No hay mucho por la cantidad que pagué. La ensalada parecía que tenía algunos días de antigüedad. La comida se veía tal como estaba, sin sabor y no fresca. Basta con decir que no volveré aquí en esta vida.

Thought we'd pop into this place based on the positive reviews. We ordered a Chicken Shawarma Wrap, a Falafel Wrap and the Egyptian Koshari. Where to start? The staff seemed rather awkward whilst we placed our order, and we were first told their card machine wasn't working so had to pay cash, which wasn't ideal. The Falafel Wrap was dry, the Chicken Shawarma was dripping oil and the Koshari was a sour, watery tomato pasta with no rice (as advertised). I'm not the kind of person to expect the world from a place like this, but to be quite frank I'm personally bemused by this restaurants previous reviews.

Visited lunch time. Was served cold and hard rice. After complaining got chips as replacement. I would avoid if you care for your health.

The service of the person behind the counter is dependent of your request. I have been here 3 times after being to the actual restaurant. Recently i ordered the cheapest meal and i was treated like absolute rubbish, like the handing to me of a lamb wrap (which it explicitly describes as a lamb pitta bread wrap) for £3. Whereas (in a previous visit) when i ordered an overpriced £7 lamb donner pitta wrap i was treated like a king and offered a wide range of toppings... this place needs to sort out its customer service because it is shocking!!! The food is excellent but everything else is poor ro say the least

Houlumi was over cooked and I ordered wings and they didn’t bother to tell me they weren’t any until all my food was ready so I would have had to wait for anything else. They put chips in my lamb kofta wrap. I asked for a refund for the wings and the incorrect money was given to me which i realised after leaving the store I won’t be returning as the first time I went the food was average.

Quick and Perfect moracan cusine

Nipped in here a week or so ago to get a shawarma after seeing images that looked pretty decent. I was served a very dry chicken wrap with no sauces. Thought we'd give it another go and order tonight, perhaps it may be better. I had the mixed grill which was £15 and turned out to just be a deconstructed mixed kebab without any sauces. My girlfriend had a shawarma set meal which was supposed to come with a drink, chips and houmous. She only received the wrap and a drink, not the other items. Gave them a call and they don't want to know and simply put the phone. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere if you want something palatable.

They are quite good, I can recommend them.

Came here for lunch, ordered the half chicken with rice. The haves eating upstairs but decided to sit lose to the food ordering area As wanted food early. I waited and I waited. I eventually got my food 30 mins later. The chicken was very well cooked and tasted very good. The rice was lightly spiced and the right depth of flavour. All in all the food was great but service needs to be better.

Don't go to the restaurant up the road. The service is awful. Instead go to the kesh express by the Tesco's. 1. Order off the grill, or a tagine (which they fetch from the restaurant) you won't be disappointed. 2. Nip over The Bell for a speed pint 3. Savor the delight that awaits you back at the Kesh

I found the food to be good and reasonable value, the restuarant is a bit "bohemian" but good food makes up for it. I do regular take aways when in the area.

Booked a table for Saturday night via our hotel. Good choice. The food was great lots of choice and the staff excellent with the recommendations from the menu. Had the set menu which was a lot of food, all very good. Really stuffed afterwards. It was a little pricey but you did get a lot. Paid £40 each with a good bottle of red Moroccan wine. The waitress came and told us the music would get louder as the belly dancer was about to appear. She was very good and everyone joined in clapping and some dancing along. Overall a great time was had by all. I would recommend the restaurant for its food and entertainment. Thank you for the box to,take home e our backlava as we were to full to eat it and the mint tea was delightful.

Having visited Marrakech last month we were in need of a fix of Moroccan food. This place didn't disappoint. As near as authentic as the general western tastes here will allow. I had grilled lamb koftas with salads and hubby had lamb and prune tajine. Empty plates! We are big foodies and hard to please, but please us it did. The staff were lovely and helpful and the flourish with the mint tea....... spot on! Quirky, fresh, affordable and tasty.

I visited this restaurant after being intrigued every time I passed, and got the lamb kofta wrap with batata harra. I've since attempted the food at home several times, but still can't match how good it is from here! Fantastic.

However my last experience was extremely disappointing and on top of that their staff made sure I won't be ordering from them again. We ordered 3 dishes, out of which only one was delivered. We had to send the deliveroo rider back to get the other two. When she came back, a side was missing and all the dishes were incomplete. We missed the bread in 2 dishes and sauces altogether. When we called the restaurant the staff there started to argue on the phone that he sent all the food through and could not understand that they didn't and it was their fault. Finally after a few minutes of arguing he dropped the call altogether. Despite his abominable behaviour, the meal was a major disappointment, the hummus wasn't fresh at all. So I won't be ordering from there ever again.

This place might look like your run of the meal kebab shop but it offers so much more. My favourite thing to order there is the avocado, banana, almond smoothie. Salads are really good as is the chicken wrap. I come here regularly for lunch.

Really great food. Had a very fresh falafel salad. Was very impressed, and if anything the was too much of it. Will go back.
