The worst pub in Plymouth stay away....unfriendly staff....unfriendly owners.....they deserve less then a star....please don't waste your time and money there....hygiene is -10.....make sure your glass is clean... staff -10....horrible....bussines like this should not exist

Inexpensive local venue, good selection of beverages and consistently good real ale(usually a choice of 2). The locals are very friendly, and there is often live music on Sunday afternoon.

One of the last old school pubs around. Weekly entertainment darts team pool team etc. Not trying to be upscale and trendy just a nice place to go for a drink

The menu varied with good options for vegetarians and all reasonably priced. The food is cooked freshly to order and everything we ordered tasted great, the crispy squid was amazing. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend.

On 2 occasions, housekeeping knocked on my door to come and clean at 8.00 am. The second time, I had put out the sustainable stay hanger on the door, which is meant to prevent room cleaning.!! The bed itself was comfy but the pillows were very hard and that's why I didn't get a goid night's sleep over the 5 days I was there. The breakfast next door at the Fishbone was poor standard. A couple of mornings there were no fried eggs, only scrambled, which didn't look very appetising. The orange juice had run out twice, and I had to ask for it. Generally not good. I was there to visit my partner in hospital each day, so I didn't have a choice. I certainly didn't eat in the restaurant at night as it was quite pricey and guessed it would be the same standard as breakfast. I will say the staff were lovely...very pleasant and helpful.
