Delicious fish and chips in Castleford! Best one around after trying several around the area. Lovely service and will be using these as my regular going forward.

First time using following recommendations. Raz was welcoming. Food was ample & spot on plus some little extras thrown in too & the cost was lower than some competition

I travel from Goole to Vickers Street Fisheries as they are the best Fish&Chips in west York and none can measure up in goole I don’t often leave Feed back but when I see the feed back left by Denise I had to say something The Fish&Chips are always freshly made to order which means sometimes you have to wait a few minutes So what Denise said about the Chips I just can’t believe at all

Bought lunch here today.the chips were re fried and not fresh.they were vile.i wont be visiting this shop again.

Fish and chips are of the best i’ve ever tasted anywhere. Fish is a great size, filling and well worth your money and the chips are really tasty too. Beats everywhere else by a mile 👍🏻

Absolutely the best Fish and chips ever. Anybody who appreciates quality food MUST visit Vickers street Fisheries. The fish was as white as snow and the batter was the lightest crispiest I have experienced. The gravy I must add, is next level.! Worth the journey from Howden.

I go most days for my father, who is a true critic of fish and chips. The quality of the fish and chips is excellent and the portion sizes are also good. They have been cautious during the covid crisis, by installing a hand sanitizing machine. True customer care and service with a smile.

Very good quality food and the curry sauce with fruits in brings back fond memories wish all simular shops had stayed with this style of curry also a proper breadcake and spam fritters so all the family can have different meals from a good menu selection in the knowledge that you will be getting hot tasty food for a reasonable price

Great place....always had good quality fish from here. Staff are friendly and will talk to you as if you've been going there years( I have). Now accepts card payment which is amazing as I don't often carry cash.
