I ordered a pizza from here about 10 years ago, it was terrible, I haven’t ordered since and I still receive text messages from them despite blocking every new number they try to contact me with, do not give them your details as they are violating GDPR, they have been reported

Wow if you'd like some pizza that's like the ones you got in your local town in the 90s, this is the place for you! I can't say it didn't make me feel nostalgic. On the plus side, pizzas arrived absolutely scorching hot (so hot that they exploded the little tubs of sauce that we didn't ask for all over the pizzas). They were very generously loaded with toppings, too much for me (ie gallons of melted cheese). Prices were not as low as other people described in reviews, but maybe that was because we didn't pick them up ourselves. Given the ratings, I'm in the minority here: lots of people absolutely love this place! But it's not for me. Still impressed by how hot they were, though!

Not much atmosphere as it’s takeaway! But pizza and staff are top notch. Shame it’s so far from E17 for delivery as my only delivery arrived warm so more of a DIY drive thing.

A 15'' pizza cost me £11 oven is wood so pizza taste nicer. Pizza will cook fast. Service is fast and polite.

Pizzas are 10/10. My personal favourite is the vegetarian which comes with aubergine, courgette, pepper etc. Prices are reasonable as well. Any size for £11 or they do single slices now for £1.99

Food so disgusting so bad pizza soked in oil

This place is an absolute hidden gem! The pizza is so fresh and so light none of this making the pizza and it sits around. Its cooked in a proper brick oven which gave me good vibes straight away. There's nowhere to sit so don't get comfortable but I mean for the quality just eat a slice on the way to your destination. I get the Gamberoni, with prawns, chilling garlic and rocket....I'm telling you it's like an invitation to heaven. I haven't tried much else other than a customised pizza which again was flawless. The best thing is if tou can collect you can get any size pizza for 10.99. Somebody say bargain for the people in the back. These are hard times people but with deals and food like this you can still treat your self and feel fabulous in one.

This place is perfect if you are wanting to eat classic Italian pizza, made in front of you in wood fire oven. There is a step before you enter and it is quite small, you can however order online. The pizza takes around 15-20 min to be made freshly. The pizza is made in-front of you which is always a pleasure to see. There is a park nearby so if the weather is great you can eat in the park, they have no seating available in store, so you can only take out. Customer service is great, very polite and friendly. Been here a couple times, definitely will recommend if you want to eat Italian pizza.

Love Vesuvio’s stone baked pizza. Tastes delicious ready in 10 minutes brilliant service clean and never shy on toppings. Definitely the best pizza place in hackney. So glad I’m just around the corner. Definetly recomend.

I've had a few of their pizzas and I've always been impressed. I've taken the time out to write this because this last Vegetarian pizza I've had was amazing, the toppings were fresh and tasty as usual, it weren't too greasy, and the flavours really stood out. The competition nearby offer bland tasteless mush in comparison, these guys are different, their dough is fresh and you can really taste the difference.

it is my second time finding hair in my food. First time it was in my pizza now in the started, very unhygienic and i would advice the cooks to at least put something on their heads to prevent that from happening, other than that its good

Great pizza. Fair prices for collection about £9.99 for 15in. Its changed over the years was cheaper before but so was everything else in the country. Really sound staff always have a good chat. I get the garlic meat lovers or the special. Really good dough, wood fired, decent toppings. My go to when I'm in the area. There are better out there but for the price you won't beat it.

Pop by to pick up a pizza after work about once a week. Basic takeaway place but Saaed, who works there, has a really positive demeanour and turns out delicious pizza.

Such a good pizza experience. Ordered large pizzas to take away for £9.99. They are propret massive. Had the hot vegetarian without mozzarella to make it vegan and it was banging. Just tried this place for the first time. £8.99 for any size pizza, got a 15 inch - amazing value. Whats better is the quality you get for that price. Hand made dough (most places in london use frozen dough which is defrosted before use), fresh toppings; the veg toppings are pre roasted making them taste much better, and a pizza cooked in minutes in an authentic wood fired oven. You can really taste the quality. The perfect in between of a fancy pizza place and a dominoes. There are halal topping options make sure you ask the staff.

It's simply the most authentic and best pizza in town, probably because they're actually Italian! The woodfired oven really makes a difference. Great friendly service and just crazy value for money too. In a different league to Yardsale, Pizza Pilgrims or other similar chains. Great to quickly grab on your way to the park with a few beers when the sun's out.

I have ordered by Uber eats, my order went through but after 20 mim they cancelled my order, I have checked on google and they close at 11:30pm and I have ordered at 9:20pm... very frustrating, I won’t ever order again!

We had pizza from this place before, the taste is good, I don’t have any complaints about that, my issue is that the staff and/or the manager are VERY careless! Today we decided to go and collect some pizza. While we was waiting outside, the cashier/manager whoever he was, collected the cash from another customer who placed an order, then the cashier went to another staff member who was doing the pizza dough to exchange some of the cash notes. The staff member with no gloves, exchanged the notes and then continued to do the dough like nothing happened, without cleaning he’s hands or wearing gloves. This is a HUGE hygienic problem, especially during a PANDEMIC! I have mentioned the person that this is not right, and should be more careful with the food handling, he’s reply was: ‘Ok, I’ll tell him know, have a good day!’ And then he completely ignored us, not even an apology! I don’t think this is a right way of handling food, neither customers!!! Places like this should be on a lockdown as they don’t care for the customers safety, but only for their pockets!

Just placed collection order thinking for 2 X £23.99 deals thinking it's cracking price just to be greeted with your lovely sign saying that any size pizza is £7.99 when collecting. Your could update your website with new pricing, at least for those who plan to come back.

Best pizza in London (to my knowledge). We live on a boat and they are more than happy to deliver to the towpath close by. Lovely people, great pizza. Update, 2 years later: they appear to have improved their Vesuvio pizza even more (that was always my favourite anyway). Haven't ordered from here for ages (as have been far away), but since when has the veg been quite this chunky and gorgeous? Yup, still big fans. Even better than last time we ordered. Please start delivering to N17.

My letter box has a sticker that reads 'no junk mail' ignored by Vesuvio Pizza who have wedged a flyer, in such a manner to let the cold air stream into my home. learn to read, failing that learn to post flyers less annoyingly. Bad

Is the best pizza that I ever had, it was a really fast preparation and they are very kind

One of the worst pizzas I ever had in my life. It was slammed to one side due to careless delivery, but still had quite bad components for its cost. Mushrooms were squishy and tasted a bit like rubber. Got chicken wings as well - they came carbonized. Smelled bad - did not dare try... the garlic bread was not too bad, and the only thing these criminals against Italian cuisine did not manage to spoil was the cola bottle. To avoid at all costs.

2019 review: Havent ordered from them for a few years. So I ordered the same pizza I did in 2014 which I gave a great review (below). My pizza arrived hot...but burnt :( not just the sides but also the toppings. Real shame. 2014 review: 5 Stars. Delicious pizza (I had the feta and spinach one), loads better then any other I've had from the N16 area. And arrived in good time, delivered by a friendly driver. Definitely ordering again. Oh, and they sliced it as requested!

Terrible! Ordered online - 10% off £20 spend offer they advertised was not applied, nor was any code offered. The pizza itself was not amazing - full of onion, despite requesting no onion, was barely sliced, so it came away in chunks, was not easy to eat. The salad was hardly a salad - just some thick slices of tomato and cheese. The tiramisu was partly frozen. Absolute waste of money! Very disappointed, will not try again.
