The Owner/Manager was wearing a mask. Whilst having drinks we overheard that he had COVID. How irresponsible. My wife is vulnerable because of her condition and she ran out of the place the moment she overheard that. I don't care what the Government regulations are about being able to go to work with COVID. I think it's deplorable, selfish and disrespectful to customers. We've been many times before and have always liked this place - especially outside in the summer but there's no way we're going back there again now.

So ordered a coffe with soya and they provided it with milk. I was a bit concerned that they seemed unconcerned when I. Said I had an allergy as lactose intolerant and they still billed me for replacement but too it off with no apology. I left and called owner who asked me what I wanted - I said nothing but just to ensure they should take a name and have a process when they serve wrong item . i could not get to tell him as he said he was not bothered to hear as he had refunded the coffee and that was it. No interest in there system or as to how I might be feeling . So I went from concerned to furious at that disrespectful behaviour which must be symptomatic of a lack of care for their process and hygiene and food standard . I could not actually believe it was the owner i spoke to on the phone. The food I had was awful as burger had no sauce at all and no vegan mayo for the vegan burger - about suns it up

The owner of the business very rude has no customer service I went to sit down with my friend and my 2 daughters and there were 3 chairs so I went to grab another chair but he wanted to move us said we are to busy. Then when our order can my two daughters chips were put on my friend and my plate so I said this is not our order then he told me is this your order or not in a rude tone and told me not to say it is not your order when clearly it was but the chips were not separate so I thought it was someone else’s order When I come here we friends it is always the same the owner is very rude I find the prices of things over priced so a little more friendliness would go along way in this place as we are paying good money to come here but I think I may go over to Michael’s instead in future better friendly faces

Soy un habitual en este pequeño y agradable café, la comida es fantástica y el servicio es impecable. El personal es amable y eficiente, y con todo tipo de comidas, desde el café de la mañana, desayuno inglés o yammy almuerzo. Mi favorito es sus huevos de pollo a la parrilla y ensalada Royale. Recientemente me invitaron a una fiesta de cumpleaños que se celebraba en este café y me impresionó cómo sin problemas la fiesta estuvo bien organizado, y la comida era encantador. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar. . .

Almorcé aquí dos veces esta semana. Segundo tiempo con nieto, al que estaba muy bien. Las instalaciones son bastante pequeñas y a menudo ocupado en el almuerzo pero es acogedor y cálido. La comida está recién hecha, muy bien presentada y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Americano bueno.

We visit this lovely café quite often. I recommend having sausage and mash with onion gravy, the sausages are very succulent and the mash is light airy and fluffy. The menu is well laid out caters for everyone. The owner is always welcoming and very friendly and the cafe is very comfortable for both adults and kids. Thank you Harry and Tom we will definitely keep coming back.

A first visit for breakfast! A lovely clean, warm and inviting restaurant! A full English with a nice quality Cumberland sausage and some very fresh tasting fried eggs and choice of bread for toast. This was advertised with tea with the respectable price of £5.50 but I had a cappuccino and I'm not sure if or how much this changed the price. Service was good, food was good, coffee was good. My only minor criticism that I do like a warm plate and my beans were getting tepid by the time I finished but I was with company and chatting. There were other nice sounding options on the menu and this is close to where I work so I will go back. It is on a busy crossroads so parking is an issue.

Went here for poached eggs on toast with a sausage and mushrooms. The eggs were runny including the whites, I'm certain the mushrooms were deep fat fried and the toast was soggy. So all in all it was a bit wet. The sausage was okay though...

First time to this Vero Caffe, Queens Parade N11 buy the traffic lights. Standard caffe furniture with a tv against one of the side walls. Toilet available. free newspapers to read. Breakfast price of around £5.50. and this includes tea. I had a coffee and a Calamari salad [Calamari £5.95ish.]. Very good salad and will bring out olive oil and balsamic vinegar if asked. Good for people watching or looking at the cars whizzing past! Food and coffee was fine. 4* as did not expect to find Calamari on the menu and was a pleasant change.

I am writing to raise a complaint about the service I received during my visit on Thursday, 15th May 2025 at around 2:00 PM as I couldn't find an email to write to. I came for lunch with two friends as we often do and unfortunately, our experience was spoiled by the unacceptable attitude of a staff member. We each ordered soup, something we always look forward to, especially when served with your usual accompaniments of toasted seeds, chilli, fresh bread, and butter. However, the woman serving us was rude and unhelpful from the start. When the first soup was ready, she simply held it just past the counter on her side without making any attempt to pass it over properly. I had to struggle to reach it myself, and instead of helping, she looked at me and commented, “Well, my arms are short,” which was completely unnecessary and quite rude. Later, I asked for some toasted seeds, as the bowl was empty. She said, “Help yourself.” I explained that the bowl was empty, as she could see it herself, and she replied, “Yes, then it's finished,” without any effort to assist. I asked if she could bring some more from the kitchen, and after making a face, she went out the back and returned less than a minute later saying it would take 20 minutes for more seeds as they had to be toasted. Again, there was no apology or effort to offer an alternative, just a dismissive attitude as if I was being unreasonable for even asking. This entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily unpleasant. We visit regularly usually once a week and have always appreciated the warm atmosphere and quality service. This staff member’s attitude was completely out of line with the standards we’ve come to expect. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, but I trust that management can identify who was working at that time. I sincerely hope this is followed up and addressed, as this person’s attitude reflects poorly on your otherwise lovely establishment. Avoid ordering from this Domino’s at all cost I saw a ethnic member of staff picking their nose, then placing toppings onto a customers pizza, and when I confronted him about this, I was told to leave the shop! Luckily, someone recorded the whole encounter and we have now passed their onto the Barnet Council food hygiene safety standards.
