Vegan Yes in Tower Hamlets

I can't express how amazing the food is. There's flavour, passion, innovation and healthy eating all combined. Absolutely a must-try - you won't forget it. The next time we're in London, we'll definitely go back. Stunning!

Came here recently for lunch with friends. It's a small but nice place, and staff were very friendly! The fusion of Italian and Korean is an unusual one, but the dishes we tried tasted nice and weren't too pricey. Overall, it was a cool experience to try out!

Io ed il mio ragazzo siamo entrati per caso in questo localizzo mentre passeggiavamo per l’East London. 
 Particolare in quanto servono tanti tipi di kimchi, molto dalle diverse preparazioni e sapori. 

Il personale è gradevole e servizievole e abbiamo scambiato anche due chiacchiere con il proprietario, anche lui italiano, che con passione ci ha spiegato la sua storia e la sua filosofia di cucina. 

 Sono stati veloci nel servizio ed in più tutto aveva il giusto di essere “fatto in casa”. 
Il mio Burger al riso aveva una base vegetale e delle ottime salse. Anche super saziante!

 Bello essere capitati in un ristorante a gestione familiare, aver mangiato buon cibo e pure sano :)

Die Kellner waren super lieb. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt! 🙃 Dazu war das Essen echt lecker und toll, dass man vorher die verschiedenen Kimchi Sorten probieren konnte. 🥰

Good food, but overpriced. Pasta gnocchi came with only half small slice of bread. It was not enough enough and we were offered more bread. When the bill came £4 was charged for half a small slice of bread. Mochi desert £5 for only one small choc piece, would expect 3 or 4 on a plate? Basic choices but poor facilities, only stools, no chairs, no coat hanging or loos?

We went around 2 and there was no wait for a table, the staff were really lovely and the kimchi & mochi especially were great.

We found this place by accident on Christmas Day when we were looking for something different and for 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan. The menu is extremely varied with Italian and Korean dishes which can be ordered as shared plates. I had the Tempeh with rice and it was delicious. I tried a Kimchi Negroni with a bit of trepidation but it was fantastic. Luckily we had room for desserts so we tried the chocolate mousse and one of us had the chocolate potato dish which I’ve never seen before.

We popped in for lunch after visiting the Monet Immersive Experience which is close by. Inside it's a very small cafe style eatery with stools and large sharing tables. The menu includes a choice of four different Kimchi and the friendly owner clearly explains the difference between each one and provides a sample to allow you to choose your favourite flavour. The food is very tasty, although a little salty which I guess is necessary for vegan food to enhance the flavours. Also on the menu are kimchi cocktails and various teas, coffees. I opted for the beetroot and clove latte which sounds odd but was lovely. The chewy, chocolate mochi desserts are delicious 😋. Prices are reasonable for such a trendy area and payment is cash only. Would recommend and return. Many thanks.

I think this might have become one of my favourite restaurants after my first visit! The food is very tasty, with an interesting combination of flavours that works perfectly. I’d personally recommend the Toppognochi—it’s to die for! I loved the food so much so, that I bought their recipe book. Plus, the restaurant is cosy and the owners are so friendly, attentive and welcoming. The wine here is also great. A true gem—for vegan and non-vegans alike!

Fantastic small, independent eating place. Staff were incredibly friendly, food was delicious including lots of options for various diets, service was faultless and the place seems to attract a really decent, peaceful clientele. Couldn't recommend enough.

I found this restaurant online while looking for a vegan place near my hotel. I received a refreshingly and genuinely warm and friendly welcome from staff who are obviously deeply committed to customer experience and completely invested in the unique fusion cuisine which they offer. The food was authentic, portion size generous, and service lightning fast. I would highly recommend Vegan Yes to anybody visiting the area.

Nice food, quite expensive for the portion sizes. Strange smell on entry to the restaurant which I think is probably the fermentation. I don't think I'd go back but it made a nice change from the norm.

We arrived an evening in July. The customer service was great and we were seated immediately. Before we ordered we got a taste test due to the fact that most of the dishes were based on kimchi. We ordered the kimchi pasta and I had coconut water. We got the food very quickly. It was very tasty. For dessert we had the small chocolates, and they to tasted great.

It was a fine sunny day in london when myself and my fiancée decided to take a walk down Brick Lane. Fresh from smoking some fine herbs we came across this amazing restaurant. This is the most interesting, creative and exciting place one could hope to find. The flavours and textures are out of this world and only matched by the most incredible hospitality from the couple who have created this true gem!

This was our first time trying this type food but certainly won’t be the last! We really enjoyed our food and ordered more things that we could eat Very friendly and attentive staff.
