Simply put, best Indian Meal I've had in a long time, loved the house lamb curry. Great service and reasonably priced. I liked that you can take your own drinks as keeps cost down and they provide glasses for you to use. Will definitely go back

Excellent meal here last night. Very good food. Excellent value early bird menu before 7pm. Bring your own booze. Only criticism was the rice wasn't looking very fresh and the service was a bit awkward, but overall a very good experience and will return.

Went for the first time yesterday. Absolutely fabulous.

Excellent service and meals last Monday evening. Butter chicken was 5/5. Great gents took care of us and the restaurant was nice and today. Highly recommend. Will visit again when attending events at Malory Park.

I stopped off on a whim, passing by. I'd seen the FB advertising, and had personal recommendations, so thought why not. I ordered the Chicken Chettinad to take away, with a keema naan. The dish was absolutely delicious, and a first for me. The keema naan was soft, and full of meat, and I was treated to free poppadoms and dips by the young charismatic owner. Decor is modern and stylish, and from what I could see of the kitchen, was immaculate. The staff were very friendly. There are plenty of more authentic dishes on the menu, which are rarely on other menus. Plenty of fish dishes too. A 10/10 experience, and can't wait to dine in. This could very well be my go to restaurant, even though it's by no means my closet.

Enjoyed an anniversary meal here with my husband. Food was fresh and beautifully cooked. Staff friendly and helpful and they treated us to a free pudding (delicious) in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Definitely be back 🙂

Been going a year or more and always found the food to be amazing. Had the new lamb shank that's on the menu finally as it's so friking popular and it was the best freaking lamb shank iv had in my freaking life.😋

we have been coming here since the boys have opened the doors. we have never had a bad experience and the boys go above and beyond to make sure we are always looked after. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, smells amazing and staff always have a welcoming smile. we order each week from here and the take away is just as good as the dining in experience. The food is exceptional and we vote by our feet and we wouldn't eat anywhere else. Keep up the great work boys and see you all soon.

Highly recommend Vasaavi Restaurant. The service from Don was excellent, he was friendly, knowledgeable about all the dishes, giving recommendations when asked. All staff were observant in a non intrusive way. Ensuring the time between courses was smooth. Food was perfect.

After using the Millenium in hinckley For a long time, all of a sudden it closed with no notice. So we looked for another resturant that you could take your own alcohol, And we found this place, we travel from higham on the hill and now consider it our regular curry house We love it ! The food is amazing the surroundings are great with a great Asian feel. The staff are great, if you find the time to talk to them then it will add to your experience as they are very friendly and attentive, they are also Funny with great sense of humour. We usually have the early bird menu With a few extras, my favorite is king prawn Jalfrezi, and you do get plenty of prawns. We love the peshwari nans too. They will bring you ice for your drinks and water for your meal if you want it. Parking can be a little difficult Sometimes but not a problem as you can park in a side street Or on the co-op and walk down. We really can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Vasaavi for providing a great resturant. Don't forget to change the times on the clocks 🤣🤣 John and Helen

We came here for my partner’s birthday celebration meal and the food was amazing. Piping hot, fresh and delicious. Don was particularly friendly and accommodating. Despite being busy, he arranged a cake for my partner’s birthday and sang for her. We will 100% come again.

This is probably the best Indian food I have tasted in a long time and great service I will deffo be back 🙂

Very mediocre food, none of it was very enjoyable or flavoursome, the lamb was too chewy and the curry dish attested of mostly chilli and tomato sauce. The so called garlic naan bread was bland, barely any garlic on it whatsoever, just butter. Atmosphere and facilities also quite poor, the gents toilets had a hand dryer that activates when you are within a meter of it as given the confined room, it was constantly going off whilst using the bathroom, very annoying! Very disappointed, perhaps this is the standard in Earl Shilton, as I had never been until today.

My family and I recently visited Vasaavi and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The staff and atmosphere was chilled, calming, creating very comfortable environment with even two little ones. The food was prepared delightfuly, served hot and tasted delicious. Taste buds was left satisfied with every bite. The service was great from the beginning to end and staff making us feel looked after even when they were busy. Will be sure to visit again, Thank you very much Vasaavi.

Lovely meal this evening, didn't know what to have as i usually have a mild curry!, the gentleman recommended Murgh Makhoni and I must say the flavours were just amazing... Best curry I've had in years!... Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning....

Absolute thieves trying to change their online offer once you have ordered. Website says £25 get a free curry, and these robbers change the story to £45 after you place the order, now waiting for a refund on the card as they changed the story after we paid online.

First time at this restaurant,we went last night along with my husband, daughter and partner. We throughly enjoy the meal and the staff were so professional and friendly and helpful. Lovely food, staff and the food was gorgeous. We will be visiting again in the not to distant future.

Always willing to try new places and support local. A takeaway is a real treat as I tend to cook myself (lots of Indian cuisine). Where do I start - it was very easy to order and spend my hard earned money (I’m a chef and believe me it’s hard work). Reasonable description of the dishes on the menu which saves googling. However this is where reality and fiction collide. Perhaps the chef had left his spice stash at home and popped to the Coop for a jar of Sharwoods - believe me I’m that underwhelmed. No depth of flavour - we had the Paneer Kadhai …..here’s the Google version - Kadai Paneer is a spicy, warming, flavorful and super delicious dish made by cooking paneer & bell peppers in a fragrant, fresh ground spice powder. The Vasaavi version - tomato sauce with massive chunks of onion - that’s it 😳 The chef had also forgotten his knives or couldn’t be arsed to chop any thing….or season anything - you get my drift. Also sampled the Spiced potato and garlic mushrooms ….well now there’s a turn up for books - fancy forgetting the garlic and the spice 🙄…bad day chef. I should be relaxing now with that nice warm feeling and my taste buds alive. Nope I feel a bit flat (and vastly poorer to boot). Highlight of the evening - the jar of mango chutney and locally made naan out of my fridge 👍 Sort the chef please. Ps photo shows tinned mushrooms (minus garlic or flavour).

Opening recently, we thought we'd give it a try. Food was excellent quality and generous portions. This has now become the only Bangladeshi restaurant we eat in at. Staff are friendly and helpful, the chef even cooked us lemon rice that was not on the menu, can't fault them.
