Vapiano in City of London, Westminster

Éramos 3 personas. Pedimos 2 platos de pasta y una pizza. La pizza llegó pronto, pero la pasta tardó tanto que la persona que pidió pizza tuvo que comérsela para que no enfriara y la terminó antes de que llegara la comida de las otras dos personas. La comida estaba rica, pero no merece la pena tanto tiempo de espera.

Terrell served us on Monday evening and he was very attentive kind and helpful really great customer service !!

I was served by Momo, who was very helpful when i explained i wasn’t sure if my order went through due to my phone losing signal. She took my order promptly from my table and prioritised my dish as my friends had came beforehand. Came in less then 5 mins Thanks Momo

Attended Vapiano for a large work team meal. Anisul and Noman were warm, welcoming and helpful with our orders and were always on hand for any problems.

Like everything in London it is very noisy, but the food is brought to the table and is fresh and delicious

I used to go this vaps often and they were also on point, however I had visited this branch after some time and it was shocking the food was so so bad and when asking them anything they said you should of mention on the app when the app actually does not give you any opinion to do so after spending over £50 in there it was shocking what I received. I ordered a pasta which was so bad and so dry and when I had asked for more sauce of course I was told to mention it on the app, however they said they would add it but then did not. But the most shocking was the caesar salad!! I received what was just ice gem lettuce not cut in a bowl and when I went and told the manager he said to me that he will feed it back to the team but they are unable to cut the lettuce. I was shocked to how they could not cut the lettuce. It was big chunks of lettuce, I felt like a rabbit given a a ball of lettuce. I was shocked honestly to do not go here I could complain for ages how the food was and how they treat customer. If anything I would say the one in paddington station is far more pleasant.

my day was terrible and blue and moreover I was starving(!). it was my first stressful day in london and I was confused by the amount and variety of restaurants but somehow I chose Vapiano. why? I don’t know my legs just got me here and I had no expectations. let me say that dinner here saved my day (no joke). I appreciate the way ordering process though qr is easy and clear. I’ve ordered fries, pepperoni pizza, lemonade and chocolate gelato. well, once again, I was starving😁. fries were well seasoned and balanced. I’ll be honest I didn’t expect to be pizza THAT big just for 11£. not only it was huge it also was served properly with pizza cutter and tasted *chef kiss*. dough, seasoning, all that played together lovely. and last but not least gelato was an amazing ending for meal. many thanks to Noman who served me today, it was a pleasure to communicate with him, and lots of love to chefs. quality exceeds price. recommend from the bottom of my heart

We have book our table months before and we just got an email that our booking has been cancelled because of the fully capacity A WEEK BEFORE THE BOOKING! We don’t live in London, we are not there often so now we have to book a nice place with only a week advance, absolutely furious.

Anisul our waiter was very good, attentive, polite and smiley which made the experience more enjoyable. Food was good, pasta the highlight of the meal. Too many kids dining in the restaurant (no reflection on the staff) just the location is more conducive to shoppers with children needing a break.

First time visiting the restaurant, asked the lady at the entrance if they had any gluten free options, I was told there is gluten free pasta.She then told us we need to scan the barcode on the table to order. However once I scanned the barcode and the menu came up I could not see the gluten free options, so I asked another member of staff and I was told if I had allergies I need to order at the till and she was very surprised that I was told to order via the online menu so I went to the till and the same lady that was at the entrance was there so I told her I cannot see the gluten free pasta, so in an abrupt manner she told me "I told you that was the gluten free option" pointing at the courgetti spaghetti on the menu . Even though when I first entered the restaurant I was told there was pasta available. I was even more surprised when I found out that she was the manager, first of all she did not take my allergy seriously by telling me to order via the barcode menu, and secondly she had no people skills at all. Even her own member of staff was shocked that with my allergy I was told to order via the barcode menu. I decided not to order anything and left the restaurant with my friend. It seemed like it was an inconvenience to ger that I had an allergy. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I advise anyone with allergies not to come as clearly there is a lack of knowledge on allergies, especially from the manager

I was been served by Mesbah, he was very polite and welcoming. But I was upset because my favourite pasta has been removed from the menu and I want to request to add Aglio e Olie back to the menu. The rest of dishes are fine but it is my favourite

Overall this place was amazing. I think the food was quite good but the bread that you gave in the kids meal wasn’t that good so maybe change our bread but I think it was quite good overall.

Vapiano’s Great Portland Street is amazing. The staff very obviously care about your eating experience and are happy to assist with ordering. The chefs prepare your meal in front of you. The food is fresh and delicious. Our family eat here regularly and love it. It’s by far the best value restaurant in central London for consistently great food. Tonight Yash looked after us, he even organised the staff to sing happy birthday to our son. Thank you and see you again very soon : )

Let me first write that I have been to this Vapiano a few times before Covid and I was amazed with the food. Today we went had our worst experience as the pizza was the worst we have ever eaten. We were so hungry and ate only half of the pizza. We then recognized that most of the people left their pizzas without eating on the tables. Moreover, the salad we ordered has not arrived and we asked for a refund and they accepted after a few minutes of argument. Anyways, this was our last time in Vapiano.

Ordered two pizzas and lasagna. Lasagna came first, very small portion and baked up. Pizzas came 20 minutes later, better than the lasagna but too late and dripping in oil. Not a fan, lasagna was rip off. Staffing very disorganised

The shop is useless when it comes to ordering online you request the simplest things like cheese in your bag and they can’t even provide that. I’ve ordered 5 times in a row this week and not once did they put cheese in my bag and 3/5 days it was cold

How can you forget the chicken in my chicken Alfredo?? There were literally THREE PIECES of chicken in my ‘Grande’ bowl? Moreover, the quality was shocking - the pasta was so soggy and soft, even though there was hardly any sauce. My chicken Alfredo usually comes with a good amount of sauce, but this just had zero flavour and a horrible texture. And no Parmesan cheese was included. Honestly expected so much better. Disappointed.

Mesbah was an absolute delight, he was very patient and gave us plenty of complimentary cheese this was very nice of him he was super attentive, would definitely recommend and will most certainly be coming back, take care of that Man!

Walked in and there were plenty of tables where we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Order through QR code which was simple and quick to do. Waiters are friendly and attentive. Ordered the beef ragu and carbonara and they both tasted delicious! They are very generous with the portions and cheese on top. I will definitely be coming back!
