Valentinos in Hartlepool

I don't usually leave reviews but the service and food was so bad I just had to. I ordered a meal deal 2. Supposed to be as follows... 1x Pepsi Max Large Bottle 1 x 10" Meat Feast Pizza 1x 10" Garlic Bread 1 x Large Donner Meat 1 x Garlic Mayo 1 x Mayo This was £19.20 including delivery. After waiting 1hr 20mins the delivery arrived. No pepsi was given. I asked the driver where it was and he said this is what was given. Call the restaurant. I opened the rest of the food and was totally stunned by what I had received. 1 x Chicken Pizza (cold) 1 x Small Donner Kebab (cold with fat congealed) 2 x Chips (cold) 2 x Mayo 1 x Half Eaten Meat Pizza (cold with garlic mayo on top) I tried to call the take away 5 times. Eventually getting through on the last call. I started to explain about the wrong delivery only to be interrupted with 'We are closed.' He put the phone down. I was totally shocked. It was only 20:45. I tried calling the following day, but it seems they won't answer my calls. I will never order from here again.

Started eating my pizza and then I flipped the pizza over and my face dropped as I became face to face with the green mold. It was nice but the mold concerned me.😡

Moldy pizza it was horrid don’t go.

Bought a full parmesan from here, got it home to find the chicken was freezing cold and hard to cut as though it had just been taken out of the fridge. When I peeled away the thin layer of melted cheese on the top everything was uncooked and stone cold, even the cheese underneath hadn't melted. They must have had it in the oven for two minutes just to melt the top before handing it out. The lass behind the counter was very apologetic but the people who cooked it went silent when she told them it was uncooked. Very disappointing as they clearly don't probe food to make sure it's to temperature especially with it being chicken. After getting home I also noticed I was short changed on the refund 🤷🏼‍♂️ I Will be reporting if I end up with food poisoning.

Terribly inconsistent. Slow for local delivery, food just warm when delivered and items missing. Food is tasty if you get lucky.

Ordered food from here for over 10 years, food quality is normally pretty good but it's went down hill recently, an issue it's always had is late/slow delivery but this time ordering it was a no show for the second time

Food is good for a takeaway but why on earth they don't accept card payments is beyond me?

Had an amazing meal here tonight and couldn't fault the service. The only slight negative was the just eat drivers walking through restaurant to collect orders, maybe would be better if they collected near the door. I'm sure once people heat more about this place it will do amazing

Unfortunately have to give a 1 star given that both myself and my partner got violently sick after eating the food here! Neither of us had eaten anything else all day, so this takeaway is the only thing that could have made us sick. Food was very basic but taste was okay, until later we got sick with vomiting, diarrhea and a fever. This was a couple of days ago now and we are both still feeling unwell and had to miss a full day's work because of it. Will definitely steer clear in future.

Ordered a pizza on a Thursday night for delivery, was told it would be up to 40 minutes, waited an hour and 50 minutes and when it came it was cold. Wouldn’t use this takeaway again.

Food was very late to be delivered so had to be heated up when arrived but the food was amazing and well worth getting a meal deal

Honestly, used to be ok. However now the food is bang average I wouldn’t give it to a dogs. The delivery service is well shot

It was worth the drive from the Headland where we live 🙂the pizza we got was ham n pineapple ,absolutely delicious 😋😋even got a free bag of chips ,the lady who was serving said to my partner he,d waited a long time ,it was worth the wait ,nice people as well 👍🙂

Had a chicken kebab. Chicken was tasteless and seemed as though it had been kept warm for a long time, almost like it had been boiled and reheated. Salad was just like mush (like the bottom of a fridge salad drawer that has had a rogue cucumber forgotten about style mush). Threw it away after one mouthful. Was the first and will be the last time I’ll ever go here

Wow. Just wow! Had the New York Deli pizza and it was amazing. Got the free garlic bread and was by far the nicest I have ever had. Would 100% come back and recommend!

Food late which could of got over but arrived with none of the dips we ordered, rang the shop told they'd be right with us and never turned up, normally rate this place but very disappointed with the service received today

Just had our first takeaway. It was absolutely superb. Delivered quickly, excellent portions, beautifully cooked. My husband had a small kebab with chilli sauce and chips. I had a chicken kebab with mint, yoghurt sauce. We were also given a free garlic bread. Well done Valentinos, will certainly be ordering again.

Ordered chicken parmesan not as large as other ones ive visited over past 2 weeks

Told 30mins to an hour, no problem, 1 hour 20mins after phone call call to check if on way. food arrives cold/luke warm, pizza& kebab meat cold, chips luke warm, mushrooms & onion rigs same, Fortunately oven already warmed up for late delivery, I know you get busy & greatham not exactly on takeaway delivery route, But that is no excuse for cold food.

Great meal had 3 topping pizza. Fries. Parmo and garlic bread.

Absolutely fantastic the meal deal we have just had delivered. Red hot and value for money try meal deal 3 you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended it. Lovely delivery driver. She was very friendly.

Great value for money, the largest pizza is huge. In and out service

The food is admittedly lovely but they're con artists. Never give you the bleeding garlic bread no matter if you put it in the comments or not

Disappointed!! Second time ordered from Valentinos not up to standard as first time. Bottom of one of the pizza's was soggy, not cooked properly, other pizza not too bad, fries soft and soggy, best part of food was garlic bread.

Our favourite place to have pizza Parmos and burgers! Super fresh food, great service, love the staff! And delivery no problem if we need it x

Again i order a chicken burger with salad. I don't like a piece of chicken on its own. So i order salad. This is now the third time it's come without salad. But i am paying for it. Not right

Food cold and very rarely get your order right

Just back from a short trip away and wanted a quick tea for the kids! Ordered at 6pm.. Delivery time was 7 pm. Arrived before 645! Great! Ordered 3 x 10 inch pizzas. A London for the boys 5+11 to share. A 10 inch each for the teens!! Spicey chicken with mozzarella and a chicken and sweetcorn.. Came with a free garlic bread too!! With delivery was less than £17..

Found what appeared to be a clump of hair within food... staff were abusive when I rang to complain.... will never by food from here again

Absolutely fuman order food at 6.45 and still waiting at 20 past 8 never order from here again ☹️food has arrived frezzing and the wose food I've ever had kebab was full of oil or grease had no salad on it was disgusting £15 wasted the full order went in the bin 😠

Spent £15 for a parmo, and kebab meat, parmo was over cooked and burned in places, the cheese was off, kebab and chips were stone cold and were inedible, and it was all full of grease. Honestly the worst takeaway I've ever had, deffo won't be eating fromhere again.

Bought 2 kebabs for over 13 pounds and was not offered any sauces. When I complained said they were 70p a tiny pot extra. Called snotty when I complained. Clearly I won't ever be buying from this business again nor will I be recommending it to my own customers. Whatever happened to good old customer service!

Ordered a parmo, from here on 12/5/18 and it was honestly the worst parmo I’ve ever tasted, the parmo was over cooked and burnt in places the bechamel sauce was sour tasting too! Best thing about this parmo was actually the chips they had a nice spice sprinkled on them, I had this place recommended to me by a frequent customer too! Pizza looked alright and chips were ok, but stay away from the parmo!

Nice polite staff. Food was also quick. A little too quick. Lamb shish kebab, had them all over the country but never one like this before. It wasn't cooked fresh. It was fresh out of the plastic container & warmed up, flavour was also poor. Chicken wings, Garbage. Overall. Would definitely avoid these 2 dishes. (Believe)

Generally have garlic bread due to pizzas my work friends get they usually quiet nice but unfortunately got a square one recently it was undercooked and very greasy.
