We ordered the special fish , it was outstanding , hot , tasty food.

Never lets you down. Best special fish supper by a mile!

Portion for price wise it is terrible value, food is okay, just seems it’s went downhill last few years, especially the portion sizes

Honestly can’t thank yous guys enough for providing me and my family with the best food wee won’t go to any other chip shop at all the food is just absolutely amazing cooked nice and freshly pizza crunches are out of this world 👌 sausages again absolutely banging cips and curry wow , thanks you guys keep being yous ♥️ and also the little young lad deliver driver is so sweet he’s always git a great big smile on his face every time and same for the other wee man just the best chippy about ♥️ here is tonight’s dinner xx

Best fish and chips in the south side!

the food itself was lovely and fresh, however I did have to phone up nearly 2 hours after ordering as it hadn't arrived. the restaurant had sent it out so it may have been delivered to the wrong house. the staff member at the restaurant was incredibly helpful and willing, they sent the food out as soon as I phoned and it arrived within 10 minutes. can't fault the restaurant staff <3

Ordered Fish supper, fish was cold, hard and not fresh at all. Was a regular, but don’t think I’ll be back with the quality of fish that was supplied. Horrible experience.

Warning to all users, this takeaway doesn’t allow users to make genuine reviews about food or delivery service. I have been a customer for around 5 years and the quality and standard is highliy variable, on some occasions items were missing from order or the temperature was not great. So after leaving a mixture of reviews over this period the takeaway now regularly cancels orders when certain members of staff are working so reviews of a negative nature are avoided, formal complaint now made

Delivery fine chips were burnt and inedible tasted horrible went straight in bin. Very disappointed.

When I see all the Fish and Chips rewards on social media I’ve no idea why Valentinis doesn’t get a mention. The best Special fish supper bar none! Thanks again.

Sadly, my last fish suppers have not been good. Fewer chips and too much batter on the fish, which can be too greasy. I used to buy regularly but now think twice and go elsewhere, even though further away. I don't know what has happened here!

Food arrived in good time, was hot and good quality

The food was good but the prices are too high. A special fish supper was £13.20 and came with only one medium sized slice of fish. A slice of haddock is about £5.50 so the markup is ridiculous. A normal haddock supper with two slices of fish, the same size as the single special, was about £11 so I don't see why a special fish supper is so expensive.

Pizza was great but they’ve completely changed the chilli cheese bites recipe to cream cheese in a different batter and it’s not good at all. Was a bit disappointing

6.50 for chips with a separate curry sauce.. not impressed

I ordered a mini fish supper - the fish was more batter than fish - a tiny fillet - not worth the price at all , not a normal fish fillet

Delivery was fine. But I just want you to know the food was not worth it. I ordered a single fish and chips I didn’t get this. The curry was disgusting the mushy peas as standard from a tin. The pizza was nice. But the whole order didn’t satisfy. Thanks for the effort. Don’t like to leave a negative review. But maybe you should know more about, that no one wants a sticky lumpy curry sauce, that the mushy peas shouldn’t have to taste like iron and that you sent the order that one pays for.

Bought a supper out of here this evening, staff couldn’t have been less interested in me or my order, unpleasant experience from start to finish, I’ll never return, there are other establishments more than happy to serve take your money and serve customers pleasantly, and I’ll be sure to let as many people know of my experience, and after all that the supper was well below average, undercooked and badly presented.

Staff are fantastic. Place is spotless. Fish suppers are great. You need to change your haggis supplier though. Its like eating plastic.

Special fish was a huge portion & very ‘meaty’. So fresh & tasty. Everyone enjoyed what they ate. I’ll definitely order again!

One of the items was rock hard. It had either been overcooked or had been sitting in the shop too long. Also the chips were overcooked .

No issues, our guests loved the food, as did we.

We ordered the special fish, absolutely first class, hot tasty food.

The chips were luke warm at best, mushy peas cold and watery having to strain them to serve, single fish were, again, luke warm at best. This used to be the best and go to chip shop around, not anymore, extremely disappointing.

Came late after saying it was on its way, then the delivery time was updated to reflect the further wait. Delicious food as usual ❤️

I ordered the meal for 19.00 which was then changed to 19.05. After 15 minutes wait l phoned Valentinis who advised the driver would be collecting my order next. Never happened and 19.40 l phoned again and was then told the driver could be another 15 to 20 minutes. It arrived at 19.42 and was stone cold! Never again will l order from Just Eat!

I order from Valentini's on a regular basis and normally have no complaints. Sadly, that was not the case when ordered last night. The battered fish was overly greasy and one of the two fish had disintegrated with only half of it edible. Also, I always request plenty of salt and vinegar and I'm yet to be convinced the notes are read as it's mostly lacking.

Food was all a bit cold but everything accurate, staff kind and efficient and I could collect within 10 mins :))

Nine times out of ten the food is EXCELLENT.... I ALWAYS write in the comments FRESHLY MADE FOOD NO REHEATED OR FOOD THAT HAS BEEN KEPT WARM PLEASE We shouldn't need to write this in the first place however despite asking for freshly made food, this time it appeared REFRIED, hard, fish inside was totally dried out and just horrible, it went in the bin and we had toast instead. I'm not sure if it's different staff that cook the food on different nights, as the food quality sadly goes from EXCELLENT to abysmal every now and then 😱

Good fish, two big pieces in a fish supper and loads of chips. Wife and I split the one, a good idea at the cost now of fish!

Over hungry: Burnt over-cooked dry special fish x 2. 2 mystery little pieces of scampi contained within a pizza crunch (luckily no allergies) & overall cold & cardboard-like. Not what we’re used to from valentinis. Total waste of money tonight. Also missed the note for S&V & which home entrance to use so woke up a sleeping baby!

My food has been great over the last few week. The chips have been hot and not dried up at all . This week the chicken was a little overcooked so dry but still a good meal but in the previous weeks it has been a great meal and fantastic delivery.

Usually very reliable. But unfortunately this time the food was not that great. Sausage was very rubbery and the fish was poor. Hopefully better next time.

was well past delivery time (over an hour after ordering at 6pm and no sign of food. called shop and food only just being made at 19 30. everything arrived quick and hot once i called to chase

Cold pizza. Freezing jalapeño poppers. Cheese on chips smelled off and chips also cold.

Our usual chippy was closed so thought we'd try this one. Glad we did. Portion sizes were excellent. Chips were tasty, batter was nice and light and the fish actually had a flavour. Got two fish in one portion, although both fish were on the thin side. Would have preferred one thicker fish but I realise this is difficult to get at times. Preferred it to our usual chippie so will be back for more.

Food was cold, not much toppings despite paying extra.

Disappointed as had several good takeaways but tonight felt it was reheated chips and fish not great. Will give them a miss for a while
