great gluten free menu! amazing that the gf honey chilli chicken had batter on it, was delicious and so was the gluten free egg fried rice! owner on phone was very helpful thank you!!!!!

So excited to find this place had a gluten free menu on Just Eat. !!!! Slight confusion when food arrived as gf main meal not labelled, but gf rice was, so had to call up and ask, then because the container we ID as my gluten free honey chilli chicken had a batter on it, I was worried it might be the wrong dish. The owner reassured me and I ate it, all was well! It was the best gf chineese takeaway I've had since being diagnosed gluten intolerant a year ago. Real sauce AND batter. What a treat. Other take aways should take note! Thanks New Corner! I reccomended they should clearly label all gluten free portions so as to reassure diners! Jist a wee hiccup easily sorted. Also please make description of dishes with more info on just eat to explain gluten free batter! It will be a selling point as almost no takeaways do this gluten free option for customers with allergy. It's brilliant! Can't wait to order again!

We’ve ordered from here many times in the past. Tonight’s order was disappointing. The omelette was meant to come with chips but sadly didn’t. Sadly also the chow mein noodles had a burnt flavour them.

Food is good guys. But there is a lot of competition in the area that are really delivering excellent grub. Keep the standards up.

food wasnt very good in comparison to other Chinese in the area. salt and chill chips weren't very good, tofu tasted off and soup was wrong. Wish I had checked the recent good reviews before ordering.

Just had what is quite possibly the worst Chinese meal I've ever ordered! Noodles burnt and overcooked as was the beef with it. Arrived absolutely stone cold. It went straight into the bin. With so many Chinese restaurants close by, you guys will need to do a lot better than this... I for one will not be ordering again!

Excellent all round - well used local and had some different choices this time, the Thai seafood special was phenomenal, with huge prawns, mussels and squid. Never let down at the New Corner.

Salt n chilli wings were great, decent kick, loads of salty chilli flaked onions, sweet n sour decent, Malaysian prawn really interesting as well. Free prawn crackers and spring rolls as it was over £20, belter. Gluten-free is clearly marked and more than usually is available. Can't speak on delivery issues mentioned in other reviews, as it was Sunday, I ordered direct on their site, and it was ready 15 minutes later when I collected, avoid those robbing apps as much as possible.

First time coming here so wasn’t sure if it was up to much but it was absolutely amazing salt and chilli items unreal definitely will be back soon

First time trying here tonight. I ordered salt n chilli chips which were covered in salt but not much chilli. Few bits of onion on top and the tiniest bit of pepper. 😱 Also ordered the chicken curry. The rice was nice but the curry was tasteless. Huge disappointment after hearing good things about this place previously.

Took almost TWO HOURS to get to me after ordering on Just Eat. When I phoned, they were nice and allegedly got it out quicker to me because I phoned (still had to phone twice and took just under an hour to get to me after the first phone call). God knows how long I would’ve waited if I didn’t call. Gave free soggy spring rolls, presumably as an apology. It seems like they don’t know when to stop taking orders if they’re busy on a Saturday night which is ridiculous as a takeaway. The food was fine, a bit bland. I discovered that they deleted the text of my review on Just Eat also. I won’t be back.

We used to order from here every week but since it’s changed hands. The chicken fried rice is covered in the most disgusting sauce ever. Tastes completely different than it used to prior to it changing hands. The portion size of curry sauce is far too small. The chips are all brown and soggy. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Despite the delivery being late, the food was great as usual. Putting it down to a busy Saturday night. Phone number doesn’t work when I tried to contact so had to reach out through just eat.

Delivery time when I ordered was 45-60 minutes. Needed up being over two hours and when it finally arrived it wasn't even what I ordered.

Found this place " new corner" has deteriorated in meals.Wrote a good review some time ago as been using for over 5 yrs,but now not dealing with them again,as the spars ribs were awful 3 of them were all fat no meat n the other 2 had very little meat Phoned them to let them know buy wasted my time n won't be going back

Ordered from here a good few times and it’s been ok. Unfortunately this time was pretty bad. Special Chow main was really bad. Asked for thin noodles and got thick mushy noodles. Sauce was watery and tasteless. Couldn’t eat any of it so it went in the bin (I’m not usually that fussy. 😫). The Sweet and Sour chicken was ok. Although there was about 5 small bits of chicken and the rest veg. Maybe the normal chef had a night off??? All in all - extremely poor show.

Ordered special fried rice and curry sauce, sweet and sour sauce arrived instead. Fried rice was tasteless and the 2 slices of chicken and char siu on top were overcooked and also tasteless. I thought I'd try this place as it says new to just eat.

Well what can I say. Looked at reviews which were OK. Ordered by phone and husband went to collect. Ribs very salty, sweet and sour chicken don't know what to say other than a sticky mess. Chow mein was awful ! Usually make Gok's at home easy peasy but the pork in this was dry and not very nice at all. Use Peking Village in Eaglesham normally and will stick with them. Plus would'nt take card and had to go to machine for cash. ☹️

I am absolutely horrified with what I received from this restaurant. My food was delivered (wrong) but to my horror I opened the rice to see MAGGOTS in the rice. To my disbelief I called the restaurant, I couldn’t believe my ears when they called me a liar and that they wouldn’t replace the order. Even though I explained I have photos and I will show the driver they refused! I am taking this to trading standards and will never eat from here again. Please avoid and use another Chinese takeaway.

First time using this takeaway after it being recommended to us. Food was fantastic, we will definitely be back again.

Horrible staff. Phoned for a delivery and was told that it'd be 45mins to an hour to be delivered. Phoned back to ask where the food was about an hour after originally ordering. I was then told to "get a grip" as I expected the order to be here within an hour. I was told 45mins to an hour... Not to mention the fact that when I phone for the second time I asked where my order was after waiting an hour I was asked "Are you sure you ordered an hour ago?". Which was then proceeded by "I was going to phone you there to make you aware of the delay". You clearly just forgot about the order mate! Own up to your mistakes and don't take your own stress out on the customer for your own wrong-doing. Do not recommend at all. If there was a zero star option, I'd be choosing this.

Hubble's favourite takeaway have a loyalty card scheme only downfall doesn't always take card payments.....update took star off as now wont take card payment after 10pm ...shame UPDATE Now taking all cards all the time management have resolved issues and cards now welcome after 10pm star back on .

The New Corner Chinese take away is by far the best in the south side of Glasgow The service is fantastic thanks to Johnny who is just a great asset to the restaurant! He is always pleasant, polite , efficient and very knowledgeable about his menu! Nothing is a bother for him he is always advising on new dishes or what to have if you feel like a change ! He remembers what you have had before and he adapts to the different palate tastes of your guests ie more chili less chili ! Or as I like my food with less sauce for example! He gets it done ! The Crispy Duck is incredible ! The Turbo rice could feed a small army , the portion size is great ! The cook is terrific top class all ingredients fresh ! The staff at the restaurant are just the best Even the delivery drivers are fast and I have never had a cold home delivery yet. I strongly recommend the new corner Chinese takeaway 👌
