Vaha Lounge and Restaurant in Northampton

I had my Wedding on the 30th of December 2024, I can’t tell you how AMAZING this place was, words can’t describe how awesome the service, the food and atmosphere was. I am lost for words. Thank you Vaha Lounge for making my day special !!!!

Lunchtime graduation meal - plank platter with loads of meat. Bread platter with baklava chaser. Couldnt fault it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. It has a lovely relaxing ambience with an open kitchen which looks immaculate. The food is delicious and good value for money. My partner had a medium rare 10oz Sirloin steak with mushroom sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, it came with a generous basket of fries, al dente green beans and baby carrots. My order was a mixed Shish 50/50 chicken and lamb with salad and rice. Again absolutely delicious. All in all a good quality value for money restaurant, a little gem that’s not easy to find theses days.

Absolute disgrace, ordered food on deliveroo at 6pm by 9pm no delivery. Now claiming it will be delivered by 10.35. 50 quid wasted. Deliveroo do absolutely nothing. Do not waste your time with these clowns.

Very welcoming and relaxed place for family and friends to dine and wine. The shisha lounge is my best sport and their shisha quality and service is the simply the best in to town. Highly recommended

I’ve had a very nice and pleasant experience we had cocktails lemonades food and it was all very nice lam cops and chicken wings absolutely delicious between the 5 people we spent £150 total it was an absolute dream

I placed my order over the phone and staff were very helpful and professional. Food was delivered on time, hot and cooked to perfection. I would recommend vaha lounge to everyone to give it a try.

Have eaten here a lot but tonight was outrageous asked us if we wanted drinks then took our food order, lady then went to the cooking area which is glass so could see in and she was just helping her self to the food with her fingers eating olives and spiting the stone into her hands never washed them then helped plate up our cold starter which she had mentioned they might not have! 15 mins passed and still no drink never mind a starter just lots of talking, giggling and eating between the chef and waitress, we left I did not receive any customer service they weren’t bothered we were there or not and even tho my partner had ordered tap water 15 mins is a stretch so we said our goodbyes and left for the price I was expecting to be acknowledged and served with some sort of smile went else where and had lovely food and paid a tip as well will never return, if I could give no stars I would it’s gone very downhill

Food is average depends of the day The atmosphere is ok but don't sit on the couch under the tv (maybe move that one) As for the drinks the gentleman was always good

I love visiting vaha with my friends very often since it open but nowadays putting service charges on the top of the bill which is no one happy about it if you seek for a tip please you must ask the customers not just put on the bill

Food was dry and cold and not worth £70 on top JUST EAT only gave me £30 back in account credit. Don’t order from here

First time at Vaha Lounge and it was great.The best chill spot in Northampton for afrobeats. Food was great ,except for the consistency which was dry.Never offered a fresh one, hence I scored 4/5. The service was great,Gesy communicated with me during booking and served us on the day.Good work Gesy! Atmosphere was amazing, the vibe was correct and all in all,it was a fabulous night.Definetly coming back.

Nice ambiance, food taste was bland. Portion was too small. Waiterss took the order and forgot to bring the drinks and upon asking she pretend like we never ordered. Chips was full of oil and very ordinary quality worst than takeaway chips.I cannot recommend this place untill they improve their food atleast.

I got the sirloin steak well done and it was so good! The service is amazing, the staff and chef were lovely and full of compliments, definitely recommend ❤️

We have tried it twice, and the food is just Wow 💕😋. The mix shish was Juicy, the meat was spot on, sea bass was absolutely beautiful and fresh 👌. Tea and baklava were absolutely delicious.

Be careful guys, if you order a re-head they will charge you a full price for it.

I thought the menu was limited. We were only told dishes weren’t available once we’d selected them. Service was slow and seemed chaotic and inexperienced. Items we ordered didn’t arrive and we cancelled them in the end. Had to remind the staff we’d ordered desserts. I think they’re trying to tick too many boxes (food/cocktails/insta-worthy photos/club) and haven’t perfected any yet.

I recently visited a restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was very satisfied with the portion sizes. I ordered one dish and an appetizer, and I was very full by the end of the meal. The only downside was that the food could have been a little warmer, but this was a minor issue. The prices were normal, like in any restaurant, and the atmosphere was cool. The waiting time was also okay. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely go back again. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is cool. The food is okay but you cannot breath in the restaurant. The atmosphere is full of smoke and nothing is done about it.

The waiters kept bringing us stuff we hadn't ordered and looked rather confused most of the time. Overall though, a brilliant experience.

We had the worst experience there. 9 of us went there tonight. The staff was rushing us with everything. They close at 11 but the guy said we need to order the shisha by 9pm as the shisha guy was going home. Like seriously a shisha place doesnt have the shisha guy working till close. Also they dont offer any tap water. We ask for room temperature water but the guy said they only sell water from the fridge. Then i asked for tap water and he was like they dont give tap water as its not safe. How am i suppose to have water if they dont provide safe water. Also the music was off all the time as the wifi wasnt working. After arguing with the manager they did provide room temperature bottle water. So why couldn’t they give us before 🤯 We normally go to tuck inn, thought we will give them a try but very disappointed with the service. Will never go there again.

Experience very bad service with the bouncers,most especially the woman bouncer,she had too much attitude,unprofessional and profiling.Not giving us access in ,without telling us reasons of denying us entry.

I visited Vaha Lounge last month, not long after it had opened and its one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in a while. The aesthetics of the restaurant are so lovely and ‘instagrammable’, well spaced out, the settings are lovely with the music in the background. The waiter and waitress were super helpful and polite, the food tasted incredible, so flavoursome, overall a great experience and will look forward to visiting again!

I will start by sharing with all of you how well impressed I am by the beauty of the location. The restaurant has an unique and modern decoration and a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The Shisha Lounge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious cocktail, a stunning view and pleasant music, in a colourful and vibrant garden. All these positive aspects are enhanced by a great variety of delicious Turkish meals, well presented and served by friendly members of the staff. If you are looking for a great night out experience, than Vaha Lounge is definitely the right place to go for. I truly recommend that you make your own impression of the place and I hope my review helped many of you.

We booked a table at Vaha Lounge for my Birthday meal after seeing it on Instagram. We visited on a Tuesday night after the Bank Holiday weekend. Unfortunately it wasn't the beautiful Birthday dinner I was expecting and we ended up leaving early. Everything started out well. We had drinks and starters and a bread board, which were all lovely, well presented and tasty. Unfortunately it went downhill with the main course. We'd ordered a sharing platter with a side of chips. The platter was brought out but there were no chips, not a major issue, the waitress assured us that we would get them soon. As I started to chose items from the sharing platter I noticed the meat I picked up wasn't very warm. I checked a couple of other pieces and they were all warm at most. The rice underneath the meat was stone cold. I called the waitress over and explained that the food was cold, and told her to touch it so she could see for herself. She was reluctant to do this for food hygiene reasons but I assured her that I was happy for her to see for herself. She put her finger in the rice and was visibly shocked that it was cold. She apologised and said that she would get another meal for us. Not a major issue, sometimes these things happen. Sadly though we then watched her take our food back to the kitchen, explain the problem to the chef and he proceeded to put the food from our plate back on the grill. Now bearing in mind that 3 people had touched this food this was a major cross contamination issue. My Husband raised this issue with the waitress at which point the chef held up his hands in the kitchen and told my husband it was OK, because he was wearing gloves! The waitress could see we were unhappy and said she would get the manager to speak to us. The manager firstly tried to insinuate that our food was cold because it had been sat on our table for a while before we started eating. The food had been at the table for a few minutes maximum whilst we were discussing the missing side order. Food that is served hot will not be stone cold in three minutes. The worst part though was that even the manager didn't seem to understand that the biggest issue came from the fact the chef put our food back on the grill after it had been touched by 3 pairs of hands and was proceeding to cook other peoples food on the same grill. After this we weren't confident to proceed with the meal so offered to pay for our drinks and starters so we could leave. The manager spoke to us one last time and apologised to us and agreed to waive all charges. It's a shame that we had such a poor experience as the venue looked so promising. Missed items happen, and we could even forgive the food being brought out cold as they offered to get us a new meal, but seeing contaminated food being put back on the grill is a hard NO and I'm not confident that the Chef or management understood that this was unacceptable.

This isn't my first time coming here yet everytime I come I am absolutely blown away by how beautiful this place is. The entire establishment feels so high end and classy while still being able to maintain an upbeat atmosphere. The staff are so playful and polite and they put so much care into the food and drinks they serve. Each time I have ordered food from here not only is it stunningly presented but it's also such a great price for delicious food. The drinks are refreshing and cold each time you order and are so beautiful even if its a non alcoholic drink. The cheesecake I ordered was not only beautiful but the lady serving me was so sweet and polite. The cheesecake itself tasted so rich and creamy without it becoming sickening and the ice-cream was so refreshing! Definitely recommend coming here even if it's just by yourself.

Food is delicious. Open kitchen, very good atmosphere. With what appears to be a small space, is actually spacious with good room from tables. Hosts and service was flawless. Shisha is of premium caliber. We will be returning, and know this will be our regular go to.

Unclear dress code, we came to the establishment complying with the dress code. The Instagram states that it is “smart casual,” and we came dressed accordingly. Seconds later, a gentleman came dressed in an equally casual was let in, specifically in jeans and a tie dye jumper with air forces. We asked to speak to the manager numerous times to seek clarification on this and he refused to speak to us. So if you want to come, make sure you come in a suit, if you wear anything slightly casual, you won’t be let in.

Best in town, Northampton needed a place like this for a very long time, I am glad I got to be here on opening night. Great location, great food, great atmosphere, great staff, great bar!!! Best Restaurant & Bar I have been to in a long time. The staff are so professional and polite and the food and drinks they serve are AMAZING! I would strongly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried before, you won't be disappointed. The prices are so competitive as well its affordable enough to become a weekly date night.
