Just order undhiyu but its didnt match the name its like normal mix veg

We recently visited Vaghaar on Kenton Road with a large family group of 23 adults and 3 children. The food was generally good, with dishes like Chilli Paneer, chilli & garlic mushrooms, and sautéed crispy veg being highlights. However, we noticed that many dishes shared a similar base and sauce flavor. Unfortunately, some dishes, particularly the Chilli Paneer, were overly salty. We focused on starters and a few main courses, skipping desserts, and also ordered some beers. The bill was quite steep at £31.80 per adult, which we found expensive for a pure vegetarian restaurant. In comparison, we’ve had similar experiences at non-vegetarian Indian restaurants in Harrow, including alcoholic drinks and desserts, for under £35 per person. Despite the good food, Vaghaar’s pricing seems high for its offerings.

Went there on a recommendation from Birmingham, and one time we think it's better we have eaten something on the street that will be better than what we had there. Overpriced and food were not good at all.

The restaurant was well-staffed, meaning service was attentive, and we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Food Experience As we were on a tight schedule, we opted for a few quick starters, and Vaghaar delivered an enjoyable mix of flavors: Masala Mogo – Cooked well with a nice texture, but could have used a bit more masala spice to live up to its name. Crispy Bhajias – Absolutely delicious! Perfectly crispy with a well-balanced seasoning that made them an instant favorite. Papdi Chaat – A great mix of crunchy, tangy, and spicy flavors, with well-blended spices and sauces giving it an authentic taste. The menu is diverse, featuring flavors from all across India with some Indo-Chinese fusion dishes, making it a great place for those who love variety. Final Thoughts Vaghaar is a solid choice for anyone craving flavorful vegetarian Indian food in Kenton. The friendly service, well-executed dishes, and inviting atmosphere make it a place worth revisiting. Next time, I’d love to try more of their menu offerings beyond the starters! If you're a fan of Indian street food or classic Gujarati flavors, this is a must-visit spot.

We just got back from dinning out at Vaaghar. It was the worst experience ever! Slow waiting staff with no real enthusiasm to serve us! We had to ask for certain things several times. They had zero knowledge of the food that they were serving. The chilli garlic mogo was not edible as it was super hot (chilli). My friend and I had to quickly pay up and leave the restaurant as we both were feeling light headed after eating the super spicy food. We ended up going elsewhere. The crispy bhindi was tasteless and we had to ask for chutneys and masala to create taste. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The cost did not justify the taste at all. Please do not waste your money or time here.

The layout of the restaurant was nice, the service was okay but can be improved (mixed number of cutlery and waiters were not attentive) and there were some of our dishes which did not make the mark. You need to hire a qualified bartender as your cocktails and mocktails were very poor.

We came here for a birthday celebration and ordered the following dishes Chilli Paneer Chilli Mogo Crispy Bhajiya Pani Puri Hakka Noodles Surti Undhiyu Chole Puri & Rus Lacha Paratha Bullet Naan Sizzling chocolate brownie Sweet Paan All the dishes were nice, apart from the chili mogo which initially came cold and then was too crispy that the fork wouldn’t go through. Overall the food is really nice and tasty and having now been to the Pinner and Harrow branch, both times the food has been good.

Went for dinner tonight, and I was overly impressed. Food was 10/10. Prices were reasonable too. Would definitely go back, but want to try the Pinner branch next time!

Try to place an order on Deliveroo cannot place order. I wanted mild food rang up the restaurant for help and told them I’m having trouble placing an order and I want to order mild food because of medical reasons. No quality food, very less quantity, ordered Chinese bhel, n they gave only noodles, not enough quantity as per price According to your reply Who said Chinese bhel is made up of only fried noodles, do you even know the meaning of bhel??? In noodles you will get only noodles, Chinese bhel is one of my fvrt dish and I tried more that 50 times in so many different places, every time I got noodles, Manchurian, rice with some crisps that’s called Chinese bhel. And review was not only on Chinese bhel. Main course also very bad even chilli and garlic naan. Also so many others thing that we don’t like it

This is an amazing place to have lunch, dinner. This is my first time and they have really impressed me. Service was absolutely fantastic and food was also pretty good. I recommend trying Masala Papad,MunchurianVeg and paneer.

Definitely ridiculous service!!!! I have to wait for 15 mins to order while we already ordered and want to order something else, however waiters are roaming and chatting to others but don’t want to take the order. I told one server to take the order and he completely ignored me. Even I had to wait 10 mins outside in cold. They don’t allow you to enter the restaurant even before 10 mins of your booking. This is seriously ridiculous. Will never come back.

It was an amazing experience to visit Vaghar, if you want to try authentic Indian Gujarati food you must visit here. I had Vagharelo Rotlo in the starter which was so good in taste and in mains I had Surati Undhyu, Puri, Thepla and in dessert I had Gulab Jamun.

PRATAP was very good with serving us during our visit of 8 guests. Thanks for delicious food and services VAGHAAR.
