Love this place!! We had an amazing time trying out new wines thanks to Aniket from Vagabond

When we arrived there was no tables available so we sat on the stools near the kitchen. Meg was so lovely. She was really knowledgeable about the different kinds of wine and helped us make our choice. She checked in on us throughout our time and let us know when a table was available. She was really helpful and made our afternoon. The food smelt amazing but we didn't eat here. Thank you.

Vagabond is an amazing go to spot - whether it’s for a date night or a nice spot to do some work, it’s perfect. Aniket in particular has always been helpful and extremely knowledgeable which just enhanced our experience - we both have new favourite wines thanks to his expertises !!

We popped into Vagabond Wines a couple of weeks ago for a drink before dinner and loved it! The self-serve wine setup was new to us but the staff were super friendly and showed us the ropes. The vibe was great with a live jazz trio adding just the right touch without being too loud. We even came back after dinner for a sherry and port nightcap. Perfect spot for a relaxed evening and we can’t wait to go back!

Another great time here but this time was greeted by Aniket. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and went out of his way to find the most suitable wines for me and my mother. Great service, lovely atmosphere and will definitely return.

I arrived at Vagabond after quite a stressful, long, journey to walk in to a very warm welcome from Courtney. She took me to available seating where I could also store my luggage without hindrance to other customers. The high light of my visit was the care and attention I received from a young man named Aniket. He was extremely friendly, courteous, helpful and extensively knowledgeable about the products sold within the venue. He asked me to sample a wine and proceeded to inform me of the country of origin, the region within the country, the smell of the wine and also an extremely accurate representation of the actual taste of the wine too. Superb knowledgeable and also transmitted to me in a really interesting manner. He further demonstrated excellent knowledge of other wines too before my departure. During my visit he couldn't do enough for myself and also took care of a number of other customers with the same care, attention and dedication he had shown me. I will definitely be returning to the venue to challenge his wine knowledge further. Thank you for a great relief from a stressful day. Well done Aniket and team!

Courtney was class with us we didn’t understand the machines as in our 40’s and helped us on numerous occasions, friendly..professional & knowledgeable about the beers and wines you don’t get this service now very often she alone made us want to come back

Alex was amazing, came in for a New Zealand wine with passion fruit / grapefruit flavours however they were out of that particular type of wine. So Alex gave us a few tasters free of charge and ended up securing us to stay at vagabonds and we ended up with a beautiful wine and truffle fries ☺️.

Unfortunately I can't leave zero. Obnoxious staff who know little or zero on the ridiculously overpriced mediocre product they sell. Will never revisit or recommend. Not sure that speaking down to customers is the way to go. Awful experience!!

'Self-service' wine bar with a great atmosphere and paired with great food. A must visit if you like buying and trying wine by the glass.

Came in last weekend and was expecting it to be busy and we were greeted by the lovely Courtney at the door who helped us get a table even with how busy it was! Such a beautiful wide range of wine and love the self pouring aspect of the whole place. We tried the Camembert for some nibbles and it was to die for!!! Genuinely the best Camembert I’ve ever tried with the additions it comes with. Thank you Courtney for all the help, will deffo be returning!!

my coworker took me here for the first time last week! and honestly i was so impressed and loved it, it’s going to become a ritual to come here once a week. 🤍 we had the churros and they are so worth the hype !!! and the servers, Lia and Alex were so helpful and knowledgable to help us find the right red to go with our dessert. 🍷 😋 definitely recommend 10/10 ! 🥂

Really love coming here. 💕 Lia🥰 is always a pleasure when I see them working. They give me the best wine recommendations ever. And they are always a delight to converse with. Very happy with their service. Alex🥰 is also another superstar very fun and bubbly always has a smile on their face and is also a good one to go for recommendations with food pairings. The food and the wine is exceptional. Please do give a proper thanks to the chef’s 👩🏽‍🍳🧑🏿‍🍳. Does get busy on the Saturday but the staff never show their stress. OK this is kind of a tale of two experiences, as a wine bar (pretty good) and as a restaurant (not so good). It's a pretty cool set-up, a self-service wine and beer tasing place with a broad selection. It's also a cool space, nice and open with a warehouse feel. That said, the food was a real disappointment! We ordered the greek salad, meatballs, iberico jam croquettes and the melon & ham. It took over 20 minutes for any of it to arrive even thoough it was not busy at all, and unfortunately there were more misses than hits. The croquettes were all bechamel and little to no ham, and the meatballs were almost impossible to even get a knife through. Go for the wine, skip the food.

If you're into wine, this place is worth checking out. They also have a few draft beer at the back if wine isn't your thing. Nice environment, and the service staff are super friendly and helpful. I especially like the explanation cards above each wine option. As someone who knows next to nothing about wine, my only observation was that most white wine on offer was on the dry side. The price point is to be expected. Didn't eat anything there, so I can't comment on food quality vs. value.

This girl, Courtney, was ever so helpful , so accommodating and it's the definition of the best customer service. I had the best time here with my boyfriend and she made that experience so good! Extra bonus for her.

I came with my mum for a quiet drink and bite to eat and the service was fabulous. Lia went above and beyond to make sure our visit was the best it can be. We will definitely be visiting again!

First time and wow waht a place. Love the concept behind this place and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We met Seven and its just great to go somewhere where the person you talk to knows so much and genuinely enjoys meeting people. All the staff we spoke to were like one big family. So a great place highly recommened. We will try the food next time

We were served today by Alex and she was absolutely incredible at her job. Talked us through all the different wines and helped us with the tasters when she spotted us eating cheese and advised us on what was best paired and bought us testers over. Over all amazing experience, amazing service strongly recommend.

Visited this place twice and both times it was perfect! So many wine options that they rotate regularly, so you can try something new every time. Alex was absolutely amazing explaining all different flavours and giving us little glasses to taste! Food was great too. Will definitely be back again!

It was our first visit to Vagabond last night and it certainly won't be the last, we only had drinks but plan to eat the next time we visit. A great concept, lovely relaxed atmosphere, comfortable interior but the exceptional thing was the staff. From the moment we walked in the staff were fabulous, happy, friendly and really helpful, a great team!

Went in for after work drinks and was served by Alex who was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the wines available. The venue itself is really nice with a good atmosphere - a really good hangout for wine lovers :)

What can I say, amazing bar, amazing place. Made all the better by excellent service (every time) by Alex. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t come in here and she wasn’t giving expert advice and giving great vibes. I probably wouldn’t come in as much if I didn’t expect to see her!

We walked into the bar spontaneously and were greeted by Alex who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Passed by Monday asked the lady at reception to use the bathrooms they were extremely clean which was nice and the staff were superb Can’t wait to go back.

I visit vagabond wines regularly and always happen to bump into Viktor! His knowledge is impeccable, from wine to food that pairs well with it - he is always well equipped to answer any question I have. He also has incredible customer service, I will be taking a leaf out of his book for sure. I do have to credit the whole Birmingham team for being so welcoming and making me feel comfortable whether i’m with friends or solo-dining. Thank you! (I will, of course, be back soon). xx
