Urban Fresh Burgers & Fries - Parkgate in Rotherham

Fantastic burgers either beef or chicken, not tried the veggie. My only negative is sometimes the music is a bit loud but then again I'm old & like to be able to talk & not shout

Called them more than 10 times with no response ! 1/5 for customer service.

The best burger experience by far. Burgers are always cooked perfectly. Paprika chips are lovely and spicy and unlimited drinks are always a winner. This place can't get much better. Even the kids eat everything.

It’s is disgusting how much grease is on the bun it was blabbered in it not appetising at ALL. I would like to say I wouldn’t be going any and to top it of there burgers are frozen not fresh stay well away

I went today with my nephew's and sister - they got two of our order's wrong but they quickly sorted them out for us. They even gave us a free bag of chip's which they didn't have to do. They are most kindest staff member's and so polite. And the food is fab. We will definitly be back.

This restaurant is exceptional in both quality and value while providing excellent customer service, especially from Ali who was very friendly and made conversation while placing an order. The burgers tasted delicious along with the fries and milkshakes. Overall, I rate this restaurant 10/10 and I can't wait to visit again when I want a delicious meal for a good price!

Spoke with the most amazing friendly member staff. She was very helpful and bubbly and went way above and beyond the expectations of the usual customer service experience. You can clearly see that the customer experience is as the forefront of her mind in every interaction she has with a customer as while I was eating I witnessed the same great experience being delivered with multiple customers. Great burger proper tasty and the chips are a lot better than your average takeaway. Tried the bacon gracy which was very nice. One thing to mention apart from outstanding service is the cheese sauce could use some work. Should be more like an American cheese sauce. The one I had was like mash potato cheese haha

You've turned your backs on Gluten free burger buns and have now alienated a whole customer base, that turned to you when competitors didn't do this. Whilst they were sometimes hit and miss, it still gave us options. You've lost a regular customer.

This place is a hidden gem on the way into Parkgate. Food is prepared fresh in-store daily and the quality of the fries and the burgers really speak for themselves! 100% my favourite food place to take the family for a treat - we all love it!

Disappointed you don’t do Gluten Free options anymore. Shop was completely empty bang on lunchtime yet lost my custom today…..

Used to love the place but they took away the Gluten Free options which then even further limits where my partner can eat.

What a rare treat it is to eat in peace and quiet! This is my 2nd visit to this location and both times we were there early. The food is tasty and freshly cooked, and it's such a better value for money than 5 guys. Above all I really appreciate they don't blast music in your ears. At least not at the beginning of the service.

Had a lovely visit to urban burger in Rotherham today and had amazing service and a great chat with a lovely lady called Emma. She was very welcoming and recommended some great options. If I wasn’t so hungry I would have chatted for hours! Definitely visiting again. Thank you!

Gluten free bun is a great option, but please learn how to defrost and serve it. I know you will have to freeze these, but most of the time they are inedible because they have been in the microwave far too long. You literally can’t chew them. You would be better placing them On the grill to defrost and crisp up. The burger and all other ingredients are excellent.

Excellent food and fast service everytime. Staff always willing to help, ordering and customisation is easier than most burger places that tend to over complicate things. Good selection of drinks and these are also bottomless 👍🏻

Food didn’t take too long to get made and was hot and obviously made to order. It’s more expensive than other places like McDonald’s but is well worth the price! The lady that took my order, named ellie, was also very friendly and helped me with all my concerns! Would definitely recommend.

The manager on shift I think she was called ellie was amazing, had great customer service and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants somewhere to eat.

Please teach your staff how to properly input the urban rewards stamps. They just tell me to scan the QR but nothing comes on because they don’t follow the correct procedure.

Lovely little number in the heart of parkgate. Little bit extra in cost but definitely worth it. Matches five guys if not goes above. Staff friendly and helpful and is always clean.

Absolutely fantastic staff. So helpful with helping with my daughter with diabetes and coeliac disease. Really clean and made sure there was no risk of contamination. 10/10.

Been here a few time and always have a lovely meal and staff are always friendly. The meal.we have today we best we have had burgers tasted lovely and fresh, paprika chips perfectly seasoned and crunchy, everything was hot and stayed hot drinks nice and cold. Highly recommend. We will be back

Great burger place, not as many toppings options as Five Guys but the Urban way burger was still delicious and I would definitely revisit. They do a gluten free burger bun as well so I could eat an actual burger with my friends!

Took 45 minutes to receive a cold burger, disappointing to say the least. Diabolical service. Luckily it wasn't busy we'd still be waiting now!

We have eaten here a number of times and I cannot deny the food is hot, tasty and of good quality - I also accept that quality doesn’t come cheap - but the price rises have just made this place unrealistic. We ordered two burgers, one portion of fries to share and two drinks; the bill was just short of £30. Sorry but we won’t be going again.

This started out as a South Yorkshire five guys clone - but I'd say it's probably better than five guys now. The milkshakes especially are better, with more options. Fantastic quality, expensive but worth it.

Was recommended Urban Burger for a meal and I wasn't disappointed. Burger was very tasty and the chips were really crispy and hot. The staff are friendly and smiling. It was really busy when we arrived. We where served quickly and only waited about 8 mins for our meal.

Cold old chips cold burger and tasteless would never recommend it

Came in from a recommendation from a mate and got served by Sareena. It was my first time here and as a complete new customer working out what I wanted, chicken or beef, chips or mozzarella stick Sareena was so friendly and helpful (I would of been annoyed serving someone like me) but it was like being served by a friend. Great atmosphere between the staff! Never going back to Five Guys, loads better serves and the food was incredible. Venue: great, clean The manager should be really proud of their team.

Went on a Friday at 10:20 and they wouldn’t serve me saying that they shut at 11 poor attitude.

I'd like to thank you for putting me off of takeout altogether. Bland, no seasoning tasteless, greasy, oily burger ! Had 2 bites, threw it in the bin. One bag of oily fries joined the burger ! and a drink £20 they definitely saw me coming ! Had to properly wash my hands after, stank of oil and grease.

As someone else here said a five guys by any other name would taste as sweet, it was amazing food I definitely recommend the milkshakes and vegetarian burger however it was a little pricey and I did get one order wrong but the service was good and it was quickly fixed. If you're ever nearby definitely give it a try.

We had been meaning to visit here for a while as pass it often. Prices are inline with five guys expensive but should good quality Everything was ok shake was good onion rings were the cheep frozen kind the place was clean staff clean and pleasant but the main thing the burgers were not good. They were tasteless very small 3oz no taste at all and on unwrapping them they look very sad and like they’ve been in a fight with a very angry dog For the premium price this place is not worth it at all

Awful overpriced chicken was still pink so undercooked, bread all soggy chips burnt most was inedible. Milkshakes were ok nothing special I would avoid.

Soooo bland. Burger patties need seasoning a lot more. Drinks were warm. Chips are decent.

On checking the receipt I noticed we had been charged more for the food and drinks than advertised on the menu board. On asking why, I was told their prices had gone up but they hadn’t changed/updated the prices on the menu! Very misleading!! I will not return.

I have visited several times and will continue to do so in the future. Very nice quality food and I've never had a bad experience.

Don't know how they get away with ripping off Five Guys! Just as expensive, grumpy staff, the refillable drinks machine was not working, no cheese sauce, and the milkshake was just. Milk. Go to five guys, don't waste your money!

Urban Burger was recommended by a colleague. I popped round for lunch so it wasn't busy. I had a chicken burger with a beef patty, fries and milkshake. The beef patty was better than anything that you'll get on the fast food market; the chicken could have been tenderised or brined for a softer 'chew' though. Being able to pick out the veg toppings was a bonus (I had grilled - peppers, onion and mushrooms). The fries were awesome - again, the best on the the market! I'm able to put away a good portion of food but couldn't finish a regular portion. I had the salted caramel shake which was delicious and thick but overpriced for the portion size at nearly a fiver. The staff were friendly and didn't make me feel silly as a first time customer too. Flavour - 5/5 Portions - 4/5 (it's the milkshake that let you down!) Service - 5/5 Price - 4/5 I'll definitely be returning and absolutely be recommending to friends!

I went here for the first time today and had a panic attack later on in the day and while I was thinking I was dying I thought about my last meal and I was really happy about it. 10/10 would recommend as last meal...or any meal.

Nice but found that the Doncaster Lakeside restaurant was nicer.

First time trying it here and I was pleasantly surprised by the veggie option. It came with two super crispy patties and they were full of flavour. I got it the Urban Way and it was tasty! The chips are a must - so crispy and delicious.

Not impressed. Burgers are frozen ones not fresh beef, chips are also frozen not hand cut in store like they advertised (unlike five guys). Save your money and go to five guys much better than this place. It tries hard to be a five guys copy but it really ain’t even close can’t beat the original.

THAT IS, A TASTEY, BURGER! All freshly made in front of you. Would do really well in somewhere like Meadowhall or a big city. Burgers were amazing, the idea of a sharing chips is great. Only downside was the price of the drinks but the food make up for that!

Ridiculously slow service. It took 3 people to watch a piece of chicken cook whilst they weren't cooking any beef burgers despite there being a whole side full of orders. The grilled onions were soggy and the burger was tasteless and sweaty. I'll sti k to five guys
