You walk in to urban botanical and notice it’s different from other coffee shop. The coffee is superb and the barista can’t do enough for you. The walls are lined with plants and it’s just great. So much better that your grey dreary coffee shops scattered all over. Its a real gem

¿Es una cafetería, es una tienda de plantas? Son las dos cosas y Stephen, el dueño, hace ambas cosas extremadamente bien. Esta cafetería pequeña pero perfectamente formada es un gran éxito entre los lugareños. El café es excelente y los pasteles de Fortitude Bakehouse son otra razón para visitar. Asientos entre plantas fabulosas hacen un interior interesante y tranquilo. Un pequeño jardín es un buen lugar de verano para encontrarse con amigos. Gran servicio y perros amigables.

Wonderful little coffee shop..skilfully made coffee on beautiful crockery and a stylish, verdant interior. The secret garden will be fun in the summer.

Amazing coffee, with oat milk stocked (my fave), and a really beautiful array of houseplants on offer. It also has a really cute garden through the back that's glorious in the sunshine. Definitely recommend a visit to Urban Botanica!

By far the best coffee in Kennington. I love visiting here. The barista really knows his coffee and will happily talk to you about which beans go best with which type of coffee. The cakes are a delight and there are croissants in the morning too.

Bought an amazing Prayer Plant from here, amazingly high quality of houseplants and fabulous coffee choices all in a nice settting, the miniature garden at the back is a real bonus. Love love love!

Great chilled vibes in this relatively new addition to Kennington. Coffee's great, from my hometown of Horsham. Really nice range of baked goods to grab on lazy Sunday afternoons. The plants are dangerously nice. There seems to be new stock every time I visit, and it's a struggle not to buy something. Little tables or benches to perch and read a book, or consider whether to walk out with another plant. Super friendly service, really cool decor, and great coffee. A great addition to the Kennington community.

Stephen is so friendly, they’ve done a wonderful job decorating the place, and are a lovely addition to the coffee shops of Kennington! It’s fun to have a couple of local spots. Now we have a coffee and plant shop to add to our coffee and book shop! Really yum coffee and the cakes look great.

Exceptional coffee in beautiful crockery with a delicious selection of cakes and pastries. Comfortable seating and the playlist was right up my street!

I used to be a Sally White fan but Steven (owner/barista) has tempted me across the road to Kennington’s new coffee greenhouse, URBAN BOTANICA. Welcoming, friendly and above all GREAT COFFEE. You can even buy a plant or two, with new stock constantly arriving... my flat is slowly becoming a scene from avatar/pandora. Still a new seedling business, but growing in the right direction with lots of potential to rival vanilla&black perhaps (watch this space) Looking forward to summer time and accessing the hidden secret garden. Recently opened, Urban Botanica occupies the site of Mr Patel’s former newsagents (much appreciated by locals) so the new occupiers were awaited with bated breath! There are already a lot of places serving coffee locally. But Urban Botanica doesn’t disappoint. It’s sought out a niche....
