Deserves another review, been going here for years, friends and family always say they wished they had this place near them. Friendly people, hard working and efficient. In a veggie relationship and so can recommend their vegetarian fayre, always had the fried rice with vegetables, its superb.

Very nice fish, good chips which aren’t greasy. The Chinese menu is very good, my personal favourite being hoi sin chicken with cashew nuts. You normally get a free bag of prawn crackers with orders over £10, they’re fresher than those I’ve had elsewhere. Last time I was there it was cash only - there’s a free cash point in the Co-Op just a few doors down.

Ordered salt and pepper chicken, it was devine, lovely lady who served me, will definitely be visiting again, Xièxiè nǐ :)

Thank you to AnyKetchup for joining me here and recommending the fish and chips. I've always gone elsewhere and following his comments I decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed. Freshly cooked fish, it has a lighter coloured batter, small chips (there are 3 sizes of chip portions) and Chinese curry sauce, always a winner. I had this with my own mushy peas, white bread and butter and a mug of tea.....and plenty of ketchup. The perfect meal!

Great to see they are finally listed on TA. Whether you choose from the Chinese or Fish and Chips menu you will not be disappointed. Great food and service. Highly recommend all round.

Since the new owners took over a while back, this has been my first choice for a Chinese takeaway. The young lady in charge is both polite and extremely efficient. The food is excellent, I can recommend the sweet and sour prawn dough balls, none of that crusty, reheated batter you get elsewhere. They do fish and chips and you get a big fish if I remember, the batter just wasn't quite right last time. Must try again at some point. Reasonable prices, cash only and a 5* hygiene rating. Thoroughly recommended.
