Me apetecía una baguette de queso y jamón. Encontré una baguette de queso y jamón o eso pensé. Empecé a comerlo en el tren, directamente en la papelera más cercana. Lleno de asquerosa mayonesa viscosa. De vuelta a Greggs.

Uppercrust solía ser fantástico hace unos años hasta ahora. Este año, he estado dos veces en la estación de la Cruz del Rey de camino a casa desde el trabajo. La primera vez, había moscas por todas las baguettes, se lo comenté al señor que simplemente las quitó y dijo que está bien. Decidí alejarme y no comprar ningún alimento esa noche debido a esto. La semana pasada, decidí intentarlo de nuevo; pedí la nueva baguette italiana antes de mi salida de los trenes. Abrí la baguette y me sorprendió no encontrar absolutamente nada dentro. 29 . Me bajé del tren para volver al vendedor, le mostré al personal la baguette y cuestioné la falta de llenado. El mismo miembro del personal dijo: «así es como es». . Solicité un reembolso, que terminó en un desacuerdo con respecto a la factura final. Es decepcionante ser tratado con tal falta de servicio al cliente.

The service at Upper Crust -Kings Cross Station is very poor, looks untidy , the staff, the guy who worked on the 21.10.22 at 14:40 pm who served me , gave me an impression , that I am begging from him food??? I bought a Lunch Box , the guy chose by himself, what type of food he is giving to me. He selected baguettes , then leaned under the table , and swapped my fresh looking baguettes in the baguettes ,possibly those, ready to throw away , because of the poor quality. When he started to select baguettes for me , I tried to stop him saying I do not eat falafel + stuffed something, he said : You cant choose !!, and packed two sluggish baguettes + 1 croissant . this was soooo unpleasant ! They used to have a nice fresh food selection , but now all looks cheap , unhealthy !! I guess that the current management team not care about the customer services, cleanliness .

Ordered a ham and cheese baguette and requested it cut in half- the girl was great and did so but the man charged me £4.69 !!!!! and it was awful

Always open early to the Edinburgh trains - polite and charming with the ‘princess’ at the helm - the breakfast bap deal is excellent - although for the first time ever the other selections look somewhat wilted? Make sure the lid on the takeaway coffee fits tightly - see you both soon!

Two bacon and one sausage sandwich rolls... inedible, rock hard, no butter or sauce and full of fat. These must have been prepared hours ago. Absolutely disgusting, straight in the bin.

Ordered a bacon roll and they asked if I wanted heated, I did. Waiting for it to be heated and when I got it was freezing. Hardly any bacon and no offer of sauce. Pathetic and an absolute rip off

Big shout out to Upper Crust Kings Cross Station. I am dairy intolerant so struggle to find sandwiches. Can’t eat shop already prepared sandwiches because of spreads and mayo. Upper Crust offered and prepared a plain ham sandwich. Great service. Thank you !

Horrible food. Poor service. Avoid eating here as it is dreadful. Too lazy to make hot drinks, too lazy to heat food that should be served warm. Bakery items are just tasteless and a waste of space and calories.

Was told it was freshly cooked bacon to find out it was small bits (not sliced) or made fresh. Considering I paid £4.60 for a small bun I was annoyed. 60p extra than next door shop.

We were in a hurry and had 2 Tuna mayo baguettes. They looked OK when looking at them but when we bought them and started to eat we realised there was hardly any filling. Definitely a place to avoid. We should have had the meal deal from WHSmith next door. We won't make the same mistake next time. I advise everyone not to buy sandwiches from this place.

I stayed at the Alhambra Hotel which is just two minutes walk from this really friendly pub. The staff and locals are really friendly and the food was good.

Do Not go to upper crust , it fronts as a sandwhich bar but upon opening any roll , you will find a layer of filling placed around the rim and nothing inside. Please lets drive these thieves out of business as soon as possible

The bread is dry and not fresh. It tastes like that there is something wrong with this franchising if Upper Crust operates as a franchise. When asked for semi skimmed milk, they just give you ANY milk.

I have always found Upper Crust outlets to be good - they serve deliciously crusty baguettes with a good choice of fillings (having said that, more vegetarian ones would be good). They stay fresh and crusty for a good while so fine to take on...

I love the food @ rail stations throughout Europe. It's all different degrees of good, as far as I'm concerned. In London, my favorite is Upper Crust. The bread & ingredients of their sandwiches just does it for me, and the coffee is great.
