Called past for the first time ever and was served by the loveliest girl, Rebecca. She was so bright and friendly it made my day.

Sunday morning coffee very early. Friendly welcome. Coffee was nice. Music a tad loud but not bad.

Best coffee shop in town! Lakyah isn’t just a barista—she’s a coffee artist and part-time therapist. The late was so good it made me question every mediocre cup I’ve had before. 10/10 would let Lakyah caffeinate my soul again!

Hassan is the best barista with an amazing service. Whenever I go to this Kentish Town Pret he always welcomes me with all of his heart and a good smile. He always makes my day better! I highly recommended visiting this Pret, especially when Hassan is there. Thanks Hassan for the amazing service!

Today after a rough night of sleep I was going to work and decided to stop for a coffee and head to work, there was a customer in front of me and I was fighting with Siri on my telephone (as usual) the two girls behind the counter were so lovely when I asked my coffee to be warm as I can’t tolerate very hot drinks, the girl who I assume was the barista told me: 43 degrees fine? And I said; I suppose so well the coffee was perfect the girls were very nice and welcoming so that was all I needed to start my day!!! Thank you girls for making my life easier ❤️😊

I bought a vegan cookie through uber eats but unfortunately the biscuit is rock hard and inedible. Uber eats will not help me get a refund and Pret a manger in Kentish town do not answer the phone. I am dissapointed as their food is pricey and I have to throw the biscuit in the bin. I would never buy from Pret a manger again. I will stick to Costa, Starbucks and Caffe Nero.

I come here regularly. The service is always fantastic, the baristas are jovial and the food and drink fridges are well-stocked. Seems to be that most staff enjoy working here, reflects well on the management team. Losing a star only because the aircon in the back seems to be constantly on full blast, and it feels just a little bit too uncomfortable in the seating area to enjoy my lunch. Cheers!

My first visit ever ,02/09/2024 I'm not a local person. Walked in nobody was around I was the only customer ,then another customer walked in and she was served before me because of she was a regular ofcourse the blue haired young lady Barrister she immediately recognised her and said Large latte? I was served after her I could have just walk away with my coffee because of I was not asked to make the payment, Then another worker she appeared and I said to her that I want to pay (she looks like a supervisor) Then she arranged the payment but for cup of Americano I was not going to pay for £4.50 I reminded her that I'm only having Americano she apologised and said I thought you were having a latte. Not a great place to be where they put locals first You may visit but I won't again. Ps.Im typing this from inside of this kentish town branch. Time 11.15 am

I have been going to this daily for well over 1 year and staff is the star of the show. The coffee and food (wraps and croissants) is great but the customer service is even better. They just get to know you and manage to make it feel a local cafe. I'll keep coming to annoy them all.

Very poor service. The management is a joke and very very rude. This new manager called Ahmed needs to improve his behaviour as he was very rude to the Uber drivers when I was eating as a customer.

Its a nice place but if your gonna charge £4 for a coffee at least make it a large jesus at costa or starbucks i get double the cup size... what a rip off

Very disappointed about customer service. The team wasn't very helpful. For some reason I had a problem with the subscription and nobody couldn't help me not even the manger. They just dismissed saying contact the customer service. This is not very what your culture represent in other shops. What's the purpose to have a service and in the shop nobody can't give any support and they don't know anything about it. I sent an email to the customer service and nobody reply. By the way I left without coffee and went Doppio coffee warehouse, thank you pret for let me discover this beautiful gem.

Ordered a drink and after one sip I realised it wasn't the one. I kindly asked the lady at the counter to add the chai, the barista from the back shouted she did add the chai and ketp on yelling. Not so professional nor nice to witness. Staff looks a bit disoriented (didn't know who ordered what). Besided, something is always missing (ice, products from the fridge etc...). Too bad.

I eat lunch there almost daily and I have to say the staff are very warm and friendly. Rebecca is so pleasant always smiling never in a bad mood and she is the highlight of my lunch break.! I've been visiting this branch on an almost daily basis since they introduced the subscription plans and the staff are fantastic. Friendly, speedy and might even remember your order if you're a regular! The food is a bit overpriced but that's Pret for you.

Staff monopolise customer seating to pack delivery orders. Will use tables even if customers are sitting on them, packing in their personal space. Jamie is particularly rude, quite shocking attitude. Avoid.

I placed my order of a coffee, staff are making it but completely for got my order, only because the manger there was busy showing of who the boss is, she is telling the staff off front of customers which was uncalled for, barrister got nervous. I ordered the chicken salad, but received a wrap which I could not eat. This is the second time this has happened with this salad.

Elzbieta was very rude to me. I am so dissapointed and very upset. When I was breastfeeding my baby she came to me from my back she spoke to me loudly that I should not feed my baby in Pret Restaurant. This is so disrespectful and should not be allowed. I Think Elzbieta should attend training about respect and being kind to the clients.

Apart from receiving very poor and slow service, the baristas couldn't be arsed to put a proper sleeve around my HOT americano and close the lid properly, thus causing a SEVERE burn on my right hand. Of course, they didn't even acknowledge it and were not even bother to apologise for the harm they provoked. Absolute disgrace.

Ive just waited over an hour for two coffees from here and when they arrived they were ice cold!!! I even called after 45 mins and they said its on the way but they took another 45! This is completely unacceptable and i will be requesting a refund. Avoid this horrible coffee shop at all cost!!

Its an OK Prett overall. I have the subscription and mostly go there just to grab a coffee in the morning, I find their food to be too pricey for my budget. The place is often busy in the afternoon and orders get mixed up sometimes.

I ordered the same drink I order every time I go to pret and the guy said they don’t do it, not that they had run out but denied it existed, soy milk hot chocolate, I think he couldn’t be bothered to make it, he was really rude about it too, so strange. The food we got was nice and the other staff were friendly. There is also some horrible graffiti in the toilets that no one seems to have tried to clean off. Weird Pret, I will stick to the other branches.

Something is always missing from your order ! Got the wrong sandwich and a late with no milk the other day and yesterday they forgot my crisps and and a drink. So annoying when they can’t resend your items once delivered, you have to complain then wait 5 days for a refund !! Pret you need to do more to make sure your orders are correct !!

We got the wrong items. We asked for chicken Caesar and we received something else

So, apparently this place is supposed to open at 7am on a Sunday. In practice, I've been there now 3 weekends in a row and the place does not open at 7, but rather they will be able to make coffee by 7:30 (when they actually open the doors) and you may be able to see any food by 8am. Just chance the freaking opening hours!!!!

Always been a fan of the chain! Love the baked goods and sandwiches! Can always rely for a quick grab before work!

Late for a second time in a row by 30 minutes. Considering the inflated delivery charges and "service fee" and any other way they can think of to milk more money - you'd expect to at least get your breakfast on time. I would have been better off just going out and getting it myself. And that's the second time in a row. I don't know if it's Just-Eat that don't have standards or Pret, but I'm not going to order from there again.

OVERCHARGING and TOTALLY DISORGANISED STAFF, Just been overcharged at this Kentish Town branch on 29th September at 3pm, bought a Humous & Falafel Mezze salad, clearly labelled as £5.75, got to the till I was charged £5.95, when I raised this with staff they insisted its £5.95 and would not do anything about it. I insisted on getting a refund for the entire purchase which they then didn't know how to do, so it took ages for them to work out how to refund me back the £5.95. I went somewhere else instead to buy my food as I do not like being overcharged or bad customer service. The overcharging is widespread and they are banking on the idea that most people will not notice. They also have a lot of handwritten price labels on their sandwiches deliberately done to overcharge customers. Its by far the most disorganised and dishonest branch and the worst customer services of Pret I have been too. If you have any form of allergy please avoid this branch as their disorganisation does not end at the till, they are making mistakes all over including in their kitchen in the background. Avoid this branch until their staff get properly trained, prices displayed on products are what the customer is being charged and until their customer services improves. I will never use this branch.

Especially in the mornings when you have limited time before meetings, there's no point if in ordering if the food arrives 30 minutes late.

I honestly had a shocking experience in this store, and not from just one staff member, but the whole team. I was in yesterday at just past ten to 6 with a friend. As soon as we walked in a lady started shouting to the door "we're closed in 5 minutes", I asked if they had stopped serving drinks, as I was only grabbing one to takeaway, and she said "no, you can get a coffee". I could tell she was fake smiling, but to be honest as she was rude from the get go, I ignored the hint, acted none the wiser, and proceeded to the till. The same lady instructed the other staff member who was cleaning the shop floor to join in with shouting at the customers that they are closed. There was a lady in front of us waiting to pay. The girl behind the bar ignored us all standing there and carried on filling the coffee machine with beans, and other cleaning. When she eventually turned around to put this lady's payment through, she stood at a different till to where the lady was already standing. She smacked the glass cabinet in front of her and told the customer to "come here", serving all kinds of tone to this poor lady. When we stepped forward she asked me what I wanted, and I started to say "an iced-", she cut me off and groaned at me that "we don't have ice, we don't do iced drinks, we don't do blended drinks..." waving her arms in the air. Me and my friend physically retreated and decided to leave the store. I have worked in busy coffee chains for years, so I completely empathise with feeling desperate to finish your shift and people coming in and elongating your closing process by coming toward the end of the day. However, I would never dream of speaking to someone in this manner, let alone a customer at my workplace. They were all super arsey, and the barista was rude and aggressive. I think it was simply appalling and should I have been local to this store, I would have cancelled my subscription and stopped going to Pret entirely. If I am ever to return to this store, it will only be to order 5 drinks at 10 to 6, for my own petty entertainment.

Lovely pret with great staff, just often find the music is much too loud and limits people trying to have conversations or get work done. Some quieter, lyric-free ambient music would be wonderful. Also would be amazing if they could get some cold drinks in, especially for the summer months
